Chapter 440: Second World Update Theme: Perpetual Darkness!

After what felt like a 10-magnitude earthquake, merely a second passed, and everyone on Main World Terra had the urge to close their eyes.

In less than a millisecond, the entire world underwent a transformation.

The oblate spheroid planet was flattened by an invisible force, transforming Terra into a vast flat plane with four corners.

At the edge of the world, a clear boundary appeared, marking the end of the newly transformed flat plane.

But the transformation did not end there. The entire plane continued expanding.

Terra's surface rapidly expanded until its area had become a thousand times larger than before.

The entire process happened so quickly that to ordinary survivors, it was as if nothing had happened at all.

The World Rules prevented them from perceiving or experiencing the transformation.

Zayne and Jade, however, witnessed everything.

The space around them seemed to distort for a moment.

Their house remained exactly the same. Their bodies remained exactly the same.

Yet, everything around them was changing.

The streets surrounding their house rapidly stretched into the distance. The houses that had once been nearby were pulled farther and farther away, while the surrounding landscape expanded until the familiar scenery had completely disappeared.

In less than a millisecond, the neighborhood that Zayne had been familiar with was no longer there.

Not because it had been destroyed.

It had simply become separated by an enormous distance.

Zayne's All Seeing Eyes looked outside his house.

The streets and houses that had once surrounded his home were nowhere to be seen.

Jade also looked outside.

"This is..."

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

The world had changed.

The previous Zombie Apocalypse World that had zombie virus contaminating the surfaces of the outside world had disappeared. The zombie virus used to be plentiful, to the point that a germaphobe would pass out if they could see it with the naked eye.

But now, the zombie virus on every surface was wiped out, as if it never existed.

Moreover, the world was constantly changing. The layout of the buildings, roads, etc., within the city had completely changed.
