Doomsday Life Simulator System In A Zombie Apocalypse World Update Era

Chapter 449: The 100 Cultivated Lucky Individual Plan

Listening to his suggestion, Jade nodded in agreement, "We can indeed do that. To make it even better, we can bestow luck on some promising individuals and let them acquire those resources for us."

"With your Loan Shark’s Ledger as a failsafe, anything they acquire of value is all your property and can be easily seized from them."

"It’s within our interest to fatten them up and harvest them later on. Not only will this improve the overall power of Terran Humanity, but if they reach a level where they’d threaten us, we can just make use of your Loan Shark’s Ledger to harvest them."

"Our Human Providence bloodline ability can transfer some of the luck of those average people to cultivate several lucky people who’ll become our dogs to sniff out those hidden valuable resources."

"That way, the two of us wouldn’t even have to expend our luck to cultivate them, yet they still have to thank us for giving them this opportunity."

"If our plan succeeds, the Top 100 Survivors in the rankings will mostly be our cultivated lucky individuals. Even if we don’t take into account the favor they all owed you from you saving the world, the fact that we gave them this opportunity to become a Top Survivor and be where they are now would be an immensely expensive favor to repay."

Undoubtedly, when it came to scheming and planning, Jade wasn’t worse than Zayne and could communicate with him on the same wavelength.

Zayne pondered for a while to confirm the viability of Jade’s plan.

Ultimately, he nodded in agreement, "We can try that. Even if it fails, it won’t cost us anything. It’s a purely profitable venture with no downsides.’

"And as you mentioned, if anything ever goes wrong in executing that plan of yours, we can just pull out and cash out using my Loan Shark’s Ledger."

"Since I’m the one who possesses the Loan Shark’s Ledger, I’ll be in charge of using Human Providence to transfer the luck of ten million people to our chosen individuals."

Zayne wasn’t worried about his plan backfiring. After all, his greatest reliance was his Hint Prompt (Gold) talent, which could notify him if someone ever reached the level that could threaten him, or if they ever managed to break free from his control.

Aside from that, his other reliance was his power rank and combat power advantage over the rest of the Terran Survivors.

It was impossible for them to surpass him. And if they ever did, the Doomsday Life Simulator System would activate the failsafe and stop time, allowing him to catch up by using up his simulation chances to enter various Doomsday Life Simulations.

No matter how he analyzed and thought about it, the victor would always be him at the end. Those Terran Survivors couldn’t surpass his power rank.

After all, no matter how talented they were, they still needed time to reach their potential. But for him, who possessed the Doomsday Life Simulation System, he not only had virtually infinite time, but he also could acquire simulation talents.

Not to mention, they would be limited by the power rank limit of the current Monthly Apocalypse World Update Theme. As for him, he could keep on drawing doomsday scenarios until he eventually chose one that had a power rank that reached beyond Heaven rank.

After he thought about it, Zayne completely agreed. And so, he and Jade proceeded with their plan.

Visiting the worlds that led to those spatial gates could wait, as the most important matter at hand was creating those artificially lucky individuals.

’Now that I think about it, if I were to make use of Human Providence to cultivate those lucky individuals, it would even be wrong to call them artificially lucky.’

’The luck value transferred by Human Providence will permanently increase luck and make it one’s own luck, ensuring that there wouldn’t be any conflict caused by having the luck of different people.’

’In other words, those cultivated lucky individuals would have no difference from those who were born with that luck. As a powerful bloodline ability, the Human Providence was more than qualified to serve as a bloodline ability for a Human Progenitor.’

As Zayne thought about that, he eventually calculated that the debt those lucky individuals that he had cultivated would incur would be way more than what they could pay for.

After all, luck was way too valuable. Those opportunities, items, and whatnot that could improve one’s luck and destiny were way too difficult to acquire.

It was not even guaranteed that such means would exist in the average Monthly Apocalypse World Update Theme, highlighting their value.

Knowing this, Zayne planned to take advantage of that to modify their loans in the Loan Shark Ledger to be the most exploitative and highest interest rate loan possible.

After he and Jade agreed on this plan, the two of them were quick to implement it. They weren’t the type to hesitate on something they’d decided.

Taking out his Absolute Compass, Zayne commanded, "Point me to whoever is suited for my plan of cultivating lucky individuals."

Using the guidance of the Absolute Compass (Gold) and the verification of the Hint Prompt (Gold), it was impossible for Zayne’s plan to fail and have any loose ends.

In just under five minutes, he had already located those individuals who’d become pawns for his plan.

As for Jade, she assisted him by using Human Providence to gather the luck of ten million people. Since they planned to cultivate a hundred Top Survivors, they had diverted the luck of one billion people.

Those one billion people were not only ordinary, but they were also those who had died on the first day of the Apocalypse. In other words, they were the ones who had been resurrected by the World Will due to the World Rules.

Since they were already failures, Jade decided to recycle their worth by letting them contribute to the success of a chosen hundred Top Survivors, concentrating the luck of ten million people each on them!
