Dragon Blood Saint Emperor
Chapter 706: Blonde Beauty Sona
The Profound Sun Domain, like the Grand Emperor Domain, was a continent situated within the Star Universe, surrounded by endless stars.
In a region of the Star Universe at the edge of the Profound Sun Domain, a warship was speeding toward the domain itself.
This was a merchant warship that roamed the Star Universe, searching for natural treasures. Of course, its main purpose was to find medicinal ingredients like Treasure Medicines and Holy Medicines.
The reason was simple: this merchant warship was funded by the “Tri-Element Guild,” which was an Alchemy Guild. All they needed were medicinal ingredients.
In the Star Universe, besides the Treasure Medicines found on some Life Stars, the blood of Starry Sky Giant Beasts was also a precious Treasure Medicine. Even certain strange, nascent energies could be considered medicinal ingredients. The merchant warship’s objective was to find them all.
Ye Wushuang had also learned who the owner of this warship was. She was a woman at the Pseudo-Saint Peak named Sona, from the Tri-Element Guild of the Profound Sun Domain.
After slaying the Star-Devouring Giant Beast, Ye Wushuang had followed the markings on his Compass and headed for the Profound Sun Domain. Along the way, he had encountered this merchant warship.
On this merchant warship were four Pseudo-Saints and over twenty Yun Dao cultivators.
In the Star Universe, and even in the Profound Sun Domain, this wasn’t considered much. However, in the Grand Emperor Domain, it would be a force to be reckoned with.
Of course, to Ye Wushuang, they posed little threat.
After integrating the Celestial’s Mark and having it empower his Dragon Blood Saint Body, his physical strength had increased ninefold. Unless a Saint Sage took action, absolutely no one could do anything to him.
Standing at the bow of the merchant warship, Ye Wushuang gazed at the brilliant, boundless starry sky. ‘First, I’ll establish a foothold in the Profound Sun Domain,’ he thought. ‘I’ll heal the injuries to my Origin and perhaps use this opportunity to break through to the Saint Sage Realm.’
“Young Master Ye!”
A gentle voice called out from behind him.
Ye Wushuang turned to see a blonde woman approaching. Her hair flowed like waves, and she wore a suit of light blue Battle Armor that perfectly accentuated her S-shaped figure, revealing her long, fiery curves.
He had to admit, she was a captivating beauty.
The admiring yet greedy gazes from the dozens of crew members on the warship were a clear indication of just how great her charm was.
“Miss Sona, what brings you out here?”
Ye Wushuang offered a faint smile.
“For a young master to be admiring the beautiful starry sky all alone, wouldn’t it be boring without a lovely lady for company?” Sona said with a light smile, walking to Ye Wushuang’s side.
‘Damn it, I’m gonna duel this kid! He’s only been here a few days and he’s already got his hooks in Miss Sona!’
‘Yeah, Miss Sona has been sticking to his side every day for the past few days!’
‘What’s so great about him? Other than being a little handsome, his Cultivation and strength aren’t even as high as ours. Once we get back to the Profound Sun Domain, we should find a chance to take him out.’
…
As Sona and Ye Wushuang stood side by side, the bustling crew behind them began to gnash their teeth, their murderous gazes intense.
‘But, then again, that kid and Miss Sona really do look good together!’
One of them looked at Ye Wushuang. His white robes fluttered in the wind, and his ink-black hair, held up by a crown, swayed gently. He exuded an intangible imperial majesty, making one feel as if they were facing a world-conquering Emperor.
Meanwhile, Sona, clad in her light blue Battle Armor, stood tall and slender like a blonde goddess—noble and elegant. Standing there quietly, she was a perfect match for him.
Hearing this, the others looked over and were momentarily dazed. They quickly shook their heads, snapping out of it when they felt a chill from behind. Hurriedly collecting themselves, they turned to see.
A young man in silver-gray Battle Armor was standing behind them, his eyes cold as he stared at the group before his gaze quickly shifted to Ye Wushuang and Sona, who were talking and laughing.
“Move!”
The young man barked at the others blocking his path.
The men were instantly intimidated. They shrank back, clearing a path for the young man, who walked straight toward Ye Wushuang.
‘It’s over, a fight’s about to break out. Byron is the most into Sona, and that kid is moving in on her. They’re definitely going to fight.’
The people behind them began to mutter, watching with rapt attention as if they knew exactly what was about to happen.
“Kid, I challenge you!”
Byron roared as he arrived behind Ye Wushuang.
Ye Wushuang had known Byron was coming and had felt his murderous glare, but he couldn’t be bothered to deal with him. It would only sour his mood.
“Byron, what do you think you’re doing?”
Sona turned, displeased. She and Ye Wushuang had been enjoying a pleasant conversation, talking and laughing, when Byron’s sudden shout had ruined the mood. Even with her good temper, she couldn’t help but feel a surge of anger.
“Sona, this kid’s origins are unknown! I suspect he has ulterior motives. Don’t be deceived by him.”
Byron glared at Ye Wushuang and gritted his teeth. “I’m going to challenge him, rip off his fake mask, and expose all of his schemes and tricks!”
“Byron, what nonsense are you spouting? Young Master Ye just wants to hitch a ride to the Profound Sun Domain. If you keep talking nonsense, you can get off this warship and go back by yourself.”
Sona scolded him, her good mood completely gone. She turned to Ye Wushuang and said, “Young Master Ye, don’t mind him. Let’s go sit inside.”
Sona led Ye Wushuang toward the interior of the merchant warship.
Hearing her scolding, Byron was stunned. He had never seen Sona get so angry, and all for that kid!
Ye Wushuang shook his head. He naturally understood that Byron’s rage was fueled entirely by jealousy, but he couldn’t be bothered with it. He simply walked into the merchant ship with Sona.
‘That kid’s just a freeloader, useless!’
‘Yeah, he won’t even accept a challenge. He must not have any real strength. He’s just pretending to be profound.’
The onlookers watched Ye Wushuang’s retreating back with disdain, their eyes full of contempt.
‘Bastard! Bastard! How dare you try to steal the woman I’ve claimed as mine! I’ll kill you, I swear I will!’
As he watched the two of them leave, the killing intent in Byron’s eyes blazed to its absolute peak.
“Hey kid, who do you want to kill? We’ll help you!”
Suddenly, a burst of mocking laughter from outside the warship responded to Byron. Nine figures had abruptly appeared outside the vessel.
“What’s it to you? Scram!”
Teetering on the edge of murderous rage, Byron turned and snapped back at them.
But the nine figures didn’t scram. Instead, they charged toward the merchant ship!
“It’s Interstellar Pirates!”
Seeing how the group was dressed, someone on the merchant ship shouted.
Byron snapped back to his senses. His expression changed, and he roared, “Quick, activate the defenses! Quick!”
“Too late!”
The nine figures rushed in at high speed.
“Kill!”
Streaks of Dao Marks shot out like world-conquering Divine Swords, piercing through the crew. Instantly, four or five people were slain, their bodies torn to shreds as blood filled the air.
BOOM!
The nine pirates surrounded the crew, their Pseudo-Saint auras terrifying everyone.
“Kneel!”
One of them, a one-eyed man, swept a ferocious gaze over the crew and barked the cold command.
In this group, aside from Byron, who was a Pseudo-Saint, the other two Pseudo-Saints had already been killed. The rest were all at the Yun Dao Level.
However, they did not kneel.
“Are you fucking deaf? I told you to kneel!”
Seeing that no one was kneeling, the one-eyed man let out a furious roar. He drew a pitch-black long saber and viciously swung it, severing a man’s legs and sending blood splattering everywhere.
“AHHH!”
The man’s upper body collapsed to the ground as he let out a miserable scream. The faces of the others changed drastically, horrified to the point of death.
“Th-This is a merchant ship of the Profound Sun Domain’s Tri-Element Guild! You…”
A man on the merchant ship said tremblingly, trying to use the Tri-Element Guild’s name to intimidate the pirates. After all, the Tri-Element Guild was a massive power, and many Interstellar Pirates had to give them face.
However, the moment the words left his mouth, a pirate drew a sword and cleaved down, splitting him in two.
“We’re Interstellar Pirates! We kill all, rob all, and plunder all! Now all of you, kneel!”
an Interstellar Pirate roared viciously, his words bloody and tyrannical.
This instantly silenced the crew huddled in the center. They chose to kneel. With their Yun Dao Level strength, it was impossible for them to fight back against nine Pseudo-Saints.
“And you! Kneel!”
Seeing that Byron wasn’t kneeling, the one-eyed man bellowed, his demeanor extremely irritable and savage.
They had previously been thrashed by a youth in white robes, had their warship stolen, and were nearly left to die in the starry sky. An endless rage had been suppressed within them, and they had been looking for a chance to vent it.
