Chapter 1125:- Display of Strength and Power

Chapter 1125: Chapter 1125:- Display of Strength and Power

"This concludes one of the main matters that I wanted to discuss with everyone today." Aditya said as the atmosphere in the dining hall gradually relaxed. "Now that it is out of the way, let us move on to something much more important and, in my opinion, something worth celebrating."

A faint smile appeared on his face. "I am referring to the downfall of the Night Rider Sect and the Chimera Shadow Sect."

Many of the noble leaders smiled as well. Compared to the heavy discussion surrounding the Tomb of Black Tomb, this topic was undoubtedly much more uplifting.

"Being completely honest, I found no evidence suggesting that Renji himself was a member of the Tomb of Black Tomb." Aditya spoke truthfully. "However, after gathering all the available information, I believe his decision to participate in the attack on Axel City was driven by two primary reasons."

He raised two fingers. "The first reason was political."

"Renji wanted to remain in Emperor Ren’s good graces. It was the Emperor’s desire that the surprise attack on Axel City would either kill me outright or inflict such devastating losses upon our faction that the outcome of the upcoming civil war would already be decided before it even began."

"By participating in that operation, Renji hoped to earn greater trust and favor from the Emperor, further strengthening the relationship between the Night Rider Sect and the Imperial Court."

Aditya lowered one finger before continuing. "The second reason was far more personal."

"It is no secret that Renji had deep feelings for Sophia. He was romantically interested in her for many years."

"More importantly, he understood that if he successfully married her, the relationship between the Night Rider Sect and the Chimera Shadow Sect would become much closer than ever before. Such a marriage would unite two of the strongest cultivation sects in the world through blood ties, greatly increasing the political influence, prestige, and overall power of his own sect."

Aditya calmly looked around the table.

"In other words, regardless of whether his motivations were political or personal, the Night Rider Sect had already chosen its side long before the civil war officially began."

"By taking part in the attack on Axel City, Renji made that choice perfectly clear. Once he decided to raise his sword against my family and everyone standing with us, the fate of his sect had already been decided." Everyone nodded in agreement.

None of the noble leaders found any fault in Aditya’s explanation. In fact, after hearing his reasoning, many of them realised they could have reached the same conclusion themselves. Renji’s actions had been driven by both political ambition and personal desire, making his decision to stand alongside Emperor Ren almost inevitable.

After giving everyone a few moments to digest the information, Aditya shifted to another topic.

"There are some people I would like all of you to meet."

His gaze swept across the dining hall. "Allow me to introduce my subordinates who played a crucial role in the destruction of the Night Rider Sect and the Chimera Shadow Sect."

The moment his words fell, four figures silently appeared inside the dining hall.

Ramos.

Anya.

Zain.

And Lou Han.

Their sudden appearance startled many of the nobles. Before anyone could even react to how they had entered the hall without being noticed, an overwhelming pressure spread throughout the room.

None of the four bothered to conceal their cultivation. Immediately, every noble present felt the terrifying aura radiating from their bodies. Several elders instinctively sucked in a cold breath.

Others widened their eyes in complete disbelief. There was no room for doubt. Standing before them were four genuine 7th-order cultivators.

They were not ordinary cultivators, but powerful experts whose auras alone were enough to make the weaker cultivators in the hall feel suffocated. All of them had Auras of powerful Dragons in them.

The dining hall became eerily silent. Although everyone had already heard reports that Aditya possessed several mysterious 7th-order subordinates, hearing rumours and witnessing the truth with their own eyes were two completely different experiences.

Only now did they truly understand why two powerful cultivation sects had fallen within such a short period of time.

However, another question immediately surfaced in everyone’s minds.

How? How had His Majesty managed to gather four such terrifying experts under his command?

From everything they knew, such a possibility should have been impossible.

Aditya had spent virtually his entire life in the Six Continents, a place where cultivation was restricted to the 5th-order Realm. There should have been no opportunity for him to recruit experts of this calibre.

Furthermore, cultivating a 7th-order powerhouse was not something that could be accomplished within a few years or even a few decades. Under normal circumstances, reaching such a realm required centuries of painstaking cultivation, while many talented cultivators needed thousands of years before they could even dream of stepping into the 7th-order Realm.

Yet somehow, the young man seated before them had managed to gather four such terrifying experts as his direct subordinates. The more they thought about it, the more mysterious and unfathomable Aditya became in their eyes.

The implications of this revelation were enormous. Every noble leader present immediately understood what these four 7th-order cultivators represented.

They were not merely Aditya’s personal bodyguards. They were his own independent military force.

In a war between great powers, the existence of even a single 7th-order cultivator could completely change the outcome of a battlefield. Such experts possessed the strength to overwhelm tens of thousands of elite soldiers, shatter enemy formations, and even decide the victor of an entire campaign. Now, Aditya possessed four such powerhouses who answered only to him.

That realisation filled many of the nobles with newfound confidence.

The greatest concern they had carried ever since deciding to oppose Emperor Ren had always been the Emperor’s National Treasures. Those legendary experts had served as the Empire’s greatest deterrent for hundreds of thousands of years. Every one of them was a genuine 7th-order cultivator whose mere presence could intimidate countless enemies.

Now, however, the balance of power no longer seemed so one-sided. When they added Boris, Malakor Harrington, and the newly advanced Wahid to Aditya’s four subordinates, their faction now possessed a total of seven powerful 7th-order cultivators.

Seven!

Just thinking about that number caused many hearts to race.

Even if Emperor Ren gathered almost all of the National Treasures under his command for the coming civil war, the Anti-Emperor Faction would no longer be at an overwhelming disadvantage. For the first time since the conflict began, they possessed enough top-tier strength to confront the Emperor head-on. Not only could they resist the National Treasures, but they also had a genuine chance of defeating them on the battlefield.

The more the noble leaders thought about it, the brighter their expressions became. The civil war that had once seemed like an uphill battle was gradually becoming a contest in which victory was no longer just a possibility...It was becoming an achievable reality.

The reason Aditya had introduced his four subordinates was very simple.

First, he wanted every noble house present to clearly understand that he possessed a powerful force of his own. Although he deeply appreciated the support of the Harrington Family and the allied noble houses, he did not want anyone to mistakenly believe that his strength depended entirely upon them. Even without borrowing the strength of others, he already commanded several powerful experts who were absolutely loyal to him alone.

The second reason was to boost everyone’s morale before the civil war.

The greatest concern weighing upon the hearts of the nobles had always been the Emperor’s overwhelming military strength, particularly the National Treasures under his command. By personally revealing four powerful 7th-order subordinates, Aditya wanted to reassure every ally that they possessed enough top-tier strength to challenge Emperor Ren directly. Judging from the expressions around the dining hall, his objective had been completely achieved.

Originally, Aditya intended for the four of them to remain and join the banquet. However, after glancing around the enormous dining table, he realized there were no empty chairs remaining, nor was there any suitable space left for additional seats without disrupting the arrangement.

With a small wave of his hand, Aditya gestured for them to leave.

Understanding his intention immediately, Ramos, Anya, Zain, and Lou Han respectfully nodded toward Aditya before quietly turning around and leaving the dining hall without saying a single unnecessary word.

Their actions once again left many of the noble leaders astonished.

Every person present understood the status a 7th-order cultivator possessed within the cultivation world.

Such experts were regarded as strategic pillars of an empire or cultivation sect. Even Emperor Ren himself treated the National Treasures with courtesy and respect, often discussing matters with them rather than issuing direct commands. Their strength alone earned them privileges that ordinary cultivators could never dream of receiving.

Yet the relationship before them was completely different. Aditya did not give his four 7th-order subordinates any special treatment. He neither flattered them nor treated them as honored guests.

Instead, he commanded them naturally, and they obeyed his instructions without the slightest hesitation or dissatisfaction.

It was the relationship between a ruler and his trusted subordinates.

Seeing four mighty 7th-order powerhouses willingly accept such a position made Aditya appear even more unfathomable in the eyes of the noble leaders. None of them could understand how he had managed to earn such absolute loyalty from experts who, anywhere else in the world, would have been treated with the highest level of respect and privilege.
