Flinx and his friends first discussed their next course of action.

Mark would travel to Ilioven to exchange all the mana stones they had obtained from the wild dungeon for gold and gems. They could then bring the treasure back to Earth, and Mark would distribute everyone's share once he returned.

Meanwhile, Paul, with the help of the others, would look for someone they could bring to the other world to determine whether every Earthling would receive the transmigration system.

Once everything was ready, they would notify Flinx, who would travel to Earth and bring several of them, along with their chosen test subject, to the other world.

"You need to build a room without any windows where we can keep that person so he won't know where he is," Samuel said.

"No need to make it that complicated," Flinx replied. "I'll just stay here. Since we're in the middle of the woods, the person won't know where they are anyway, as long as they're blindfolded before we travel using my Plane Shift spell."

After finalizing their plans, they decided to begin the following day since it was already very late.

The next morning, Flinx refreshed the Hallucinatory Terrain spell. Since they intended to continue using the area as their base, he didn't want anyone—or anything—disturbing them.

Next, he selected a particular tree to serve as the landmark he would permanently memorize as a teleportation point, now that the wild dungeon was gone.

Using his Android tablet, he took several pictures and videos of the tree and its surroundings. Once he was confident he had memorized the location, he teleported everyone except Mark back to Earth.

They arrived at the park, one of the two locations Flinx had memorized as return points on Earth. Because he had used a thirteenth-level spell slot, everyone remained invisible upon arrival.

Fortunately, there was no one nearby. Flinx dispelled the invisibility on everyone and immediately returned to the other world without wasting any time.

Although Earth's consciousness was supposed to leave him alone for three hours after using Plane Shift, Flinx still feared losing his transmigration system.

He found it amusing that he kept referring to this place as "the other world." Priest Anuel had told him its name, but he had completely forgotten it. Anuel had also mentioned that the name was only the local term and that other regions likely called the world by different names.

He made a mental note to ask Olivia about it the next time he spoke to her through the Telepathy spell.

As soon as he returned beside the tree he had designated as his save point, he let out a sigh of relief.

"What's wrong?" Mark asked after noticing his reaction.

"I'm still worried that I'll suddenly lose my system," Flinx admitted.

"Ooh, that's definitely something to be afraid of. I'd be stranded here if that happened," Mark joked.

"I still think it was a mistake for all of you to choose a magic item shield instead of the Plane Shield spell. Even if you eventually reach the minimum level required to travel back to Earth, the moment you return, you'll immediately lose your systems," Flinx said.

"You might be right," Mark replied, "but we considered that reaching level twenty would probably take us decades. We figured it would be better to rely on you for transportation. Sooner or later, you'll discover another wild dungeon, and we can use that opportunity to obtain the Plane Shift spell."

The two of them then returned to Flinx's tower in Ilioven.

Flinx had already dismissed all of his elementals except for a single earth elemental, which he assigned to guard Mark.

Mark was carrying a huge amount of mana stones that he intended to exchange for gold bars and gems, yet he was only level three. Having a powerful bodyguard was a wise precaution.

Since Mark already knew where to exchange the mana stones, he left immediately.

Meanwhile, Flinx decided to visit Olivia's shop and restock its inventory instead of waiting until the deadline a few days later.

The servants who remained at the compound were surprised to see him, but he simply waved goodbye before heading to Olivia's shop.

"You're back!" Olivia exclaimed as soon as he entered.

"I had something to take care of. Since I'm already in the city, I figured I'd restock the shop," Flinx replied.

"I think it would be better if you stocked enough supplies to last a couple of months. That way, you won't have to come back so often," Olivia suggested.

Flinx nodded in agreement.

On the second floor, he spent nine thousand dollars through the System Shopping Site to purchase three months' worth of inventory.

Moments later, the entire floor was packed with soaps, candles, and loofahs.

He called Olivia upstairs.

"I bought enough supplies to last three months. As for my share of the shop's earnings, just place it in the chest inside my room on the last day of every month."

Since the shop was filled with women, Flinx felt awkward lingering there any longer. After saying goodbye, he returned to the compound.

Mark would likely need more time to finish his business, so Flinx decided to relax by swimming in the lake. Before doing so, he went to his room and took a shower.

While inside, he remembered telling Olivia to place the shop's earnings in the chest beside his desk. To secure the room, he cast Arcane Lock on the door. From then on, only he and Olivia would be able to enter.

After showering, he returned to Pondy wearing only his swim trunks and dove into the water.

He enjoyed the peace and quiet. No one disturbed him.

After swimming vigorously for a while, he simply floated on the surface while Pondy gave him a relaxing massage.

A couple of hours later, Mark returned carrying an enormous bag that looked incredibly heavy.

Flinx climbed out of the water, cleaned himself with a spell, and got dressed.

When he inspected the bag, he found it filled with gold bars and gemstones. He couldn't help but wonder how much money they would fetch once exchanged on Earth.

"I'm ready to head back," Mark said.

Flinx nodded.

Before returning to Earth, Flinx contacted Paul through the web-based chat messenger they had been using to ask whether they had already found someone for their experiment.

Paul replied that they were waiting in the alley, the second location Flinx had designated as a return point on Earth.

Flinx and Mark waited until Paul confirmed they were ready.

When they arrived in the alley, Paul was standing there with a blindfolded man.

Mark said his goodbyes and left.

Flinx then took hold of Paul and the man's hands before casting Plane Shift, transporting the three of them back to the forest where the wild dungeon had once stood.

After arriving, Paul removed the man's blindfold.

The man looked utterly shocked to find himself standing in the middle of a forest.

Paul told him not to worry about his surroundings and immediately began questioning him about the transmigration system.

After carefully confirming that the man was telling the truth, they verified that he had not received the system.

Satisfied with the results, they blindfolded him once again and returned to Earth.

Back in the alley, they guided the man out before removing his blindfold.

Paul paid him the remainder of the agreed amount and sent him on his way.

"I think we should conduct more tests," Paul said.

"Alright. I'll stay in the forest. Just send me a message whenever you find someone else I can bring here for further testing," Flinx replied.
