Chapter 857: Destroying the Sea God! (Part 3)

The sea god's vitality is outrageously tenacious.

Even though it was cleaved in two by Zhou Huai's deadly strike, which contained the power of the Ancestral Dragon and the ability to cut through space, the two massive, mountain-like remains of its body still churned violently on the Dead Sea.

The foul-smelling, high-dimensional black blood cascaded down like a waterfall, turning the already murky seawater as black as ink.

"Gurgle..."

A towering whirlpool rose on the sea surface.

Countless tentacles on the remains of the sea god frantically pounded the water's surface as its massive lower body attempted to dive into the deep sea, thousands of meters below, hoping to survive by exploiting the extreme pressure and complex terrain of the deep ocean.

"Trying to leave?"

Zhou Huai stood in mid-air, his expression cold.

He didn't even move an inch, but simply gave the order.

"Victor, lock it down."

"As you wish, my lord." The calm and elegant voice of Viktor, the Herrscher of the Void, rang out. "The laws of space have been completely tightened, and all submersion coordinates have been sealed off."

The words had barely left his mouth.

The space around the remains of the sea god instantly froze. The surging seawater stopped, transforming into an indestructible, transparent spatial barrier.

No matter how frantically the sea god twisted and turned, or how much it squeezed out the remaining power of the laws within its body, it could not descend even an inch further. It was sealed in place, and could only struggle helplessly.

On a dilapidated flatboat in the distance, a burly red-haired man watched this scene and roared excitedly, "It can't escape! That spatial ability has completely locked it down!"

"Too powerful... This absolute spatial control is simply against the laws of the mortal world!" Another powerful man with a face full of scars clenched his fists, his voice trembling.

Zhou Huai ignored the gasps of surprise from below.

"My lord, it's already trapped. Should I proceed with the final dimensional collapse?" Victor adjusted his glasses and respectfully inquired.

"No need. This kind of prey, brimming with high-dimensional nourishment, is naturally the best supplement for the insect swarm." Zhou Huai gripped the Abyss Blood Dragon Spear tightly and sneered, "Prepare to beat a drowning dog to a pulp, don't leave it even a scrap!"

Just as Zhou Huai was about to give the order for the ten Calamity God Beetles to launch their ultimate devouring attack.

A sudden change has occurred!

The sea god, trapped by the spatial barrier, suddenly tilted his enormous head back.

Its abyssal maw, shaped like a catfish and covered with sharp teeth and barbs, suddenly opened to its limit.

"Whoosh..."

There were no earth-shattering energy fluctuations, nor the roar of higher-dimensional laws.

A dark, indistinct object shot out from the depths of the sea god's dark esophagus at an eerie speed!

That was too fast.

It was so fast that even Zhou Huai, who possessed omniscience of the void, could only catch a blurry afterimage.

"Bang!"

A crisp sound of shattering glass echoed in the air.

The spatial barrier set up by Victor, which could withstand even the laws of transcendence for a moment, was utterly vulnerable in front of that black silhouette and was immediately pierced!

In almost a fraction of a second, the blurry black shadow broke through the blockade and plunged into the endless abyss of the Dead Sea, disappearing without a trace.

"My lord! An unknown absolute penetration judgment!" Viktor's voice rarely wavered. "That thing... completely ignores the underlying logic of physics and space in the present world, and forcibly tore through the barrier!"

Zhou Huai, clad in the Bloodstained Armor, frowned slightly.

He squinted, staring at the rippled opening beneath the deep sea.

"Trying to survive by cutting off its tail?" Zhou Huai said coldly, his voice calm and confident. "It doesn't matter. It's just a defective product that doesn't even dare to show its form."

"My lord, should I immediately tear through the deep sea space to pursue them?" The spirited voice of Arthur, the Heavenly Dragon Rider, echoed in my mind.

"No need to rush," Zhou Huai interrupted, raising his hand. "Let's clean up the immediate issues first."

As that blurry outline was peeled away and disappeared.

The life force and legal support of the two severed bodies of the sea god, which were originally struggling frantically in the spatial crystal and trying to reassemble and heal, were immediately drained.

"Pfft..."

Those hideous fleshy buds protruding from the body and those thick tentacles that were dancing wildly lost their vitality in a very short time and drooped down helplessly.

The body, which originally exuded terrifying high-dimensional pressure, began to shrink and wither rapidly at a speed visible to the naked eye.

In just a few breaths.

That mountain-like, deformed behemoth was reduced to an empty shell, devoid of all life.

It stopped struggling.

"Hiss..."

Seeing this, the ten calamity beetles, who were already starving and thirsty, hissed and pounced on the creatures without any mercy, tearing and devouring the helpless remains in large chunks.

In the distance, the wind still howled.

But a profound silence fell upon that dilapidated flatboat.

All the surviving powerful figures of the old era stared in stunned silence at the breathtaking scene before them.

A full half minute passed.

"Dead..."

The red-haired burly man swallowed a mouthful of saliva mixed with the taste of blood. He gripped the gunwale tightly with his only remaining hand, his fingernails cracked and bleeding, but he was completely unaware of it.

He turned his head sharply, his eyes bloodshot, and stared at his companion beside him, his voice trembling uncontrollably: "Did you see that?! That monster... it's not moving! It's really dead!"

"Dead! Really dead!" Another professional, covered in blood, grabbed the burly man and wailed, "That massive life force has completely vanished! The laws of higher dimensions have collapsed too!"

"Hahaha! The sea god is dead! The nightmare that tormented us for an entire era has finally come to an end!"

On the small boat, these top experts, who once dominated the Seventh World but were forced to eke out a living in this Dead Sea, now looked like a group of helpless children.

They embraced and wept, freely releasing the fear and despair that had been suppressed in their hearts for countless days and nights.

They looked up at the mysterious young man high in the sky, clad in dark red armor and appearing like a god descending to earth. They gazed at him with fervor, filled with awe and gratitude.

Among this excited, incoherent crowd.

Old Mo, with his white hair, sat quietly on the deck.

He didn't cry out loud like the others, nor did he shout.

He simply tilted his head back slightly, letting the cold Dead Sea water, mixed with blood, slap against his deeply lined, aged face.

Old Mo's lips curled into a rare, stiff smile.

Two streams of turbid, hot tears silently slid down his cheeks, dripping onto the waterlogged wooden planks and spreading outwards.

"It's over... finally... over."
