418. Bloodline Aberrants [Available for Free on Patreon!]
Chapter 418: Bloodline Aberrants [Available for Free on Patreon!]
Jay regained his senses the moment he arrived in the Bloodline Realm. There was no sign of the bright red sky and drifting black clouds from his vision, only a dim, enclosed space around him.
As his eyes adjusted, he realized he was inside a vast cave. A red screen flashed in his vision, showing details about the realm and what they had to do to earn bountiful rewards.
But Jay didn’t have the luxury to clearly go through them. He wasn’t alone. Several creatures in the dimly-lit vast cave had already noticed his arrival.
The neon blue and green vegetation gave off a faint glow, lighting parts of the cave. Through it, he saw the creatures around him. They were already stirring, rising in alert after his sudden appearance right in their midst.
They all had grotesque appearances, as if parts from different beings had been stitched into one body. Limbs didn’t match, shapes overlapped, and nothing looked natural. The closest word to describe them was chimeras.
Each of them had a red crystal embedded at the top of their head, its size varying with their strength. Vein-like lines spread out from the crystal, running across their bodies as if holding their mismatched parts together.
Jay could see them as clear as day, thanks to the improved night vision skill in his arsenal.
He used his information-prying skill and saw that among the 60 or so creatures, or rather Bloodline Aberrants as the System labelled them, the weakest was at Tier-5 Mid-Phase while the strongest was at Tier-7 Low-Phase.
Only after seeing this did Jay let out a small sigh of relief. It wasn’t him who was unlucky to appear among them. They were.
Just as he was about to command the Origin Glaive to finish them off, he sensed the stored Phantom Replica skills being consumed one after another in rapid succession.
He understood that MJ must have activated the Phantom Replicas after sensing the Orion Vanguard members were in danger.
Jay didn’t hesitate and went straight for the Tier-7 Low-Phase Aberrant, leaving the rest to the Origin Glaive. He activated Strength Energy and Pseudo-Speed Energy, but didn’t use the ATTACK ABSOLUTE.

Even without it, the gap was too wide. A single full-powered punch blew the Aberrant apart into chunks.
Jay moved so fast that the Tier-7 Aberrant couldn’t react properly, and the Origin Glaive was just as quick, cutting through the remaining Aberrants and separating their heads from their bodies.

Hey Folks, sorry for the inconvenience. I wanted to give a small update regarding Volume 4 and future chapter releases.
To be honest, because of piracy concerns, I seriously considered not releasing the remaining chapters of Volume 4 publicly anymore. But at the same time, I don’t want the current readers who have been supporting and following the story consistently to miss out either.
So from Chapter 401 onwards, I’ll continue doing weekly releases here, but only around the first one-fourth of each chapter will be posted publicly.
To read the full chapter, you can simply join my Patreon’s free tier. The complete chapters will be available there, and it doesn’t cost anything to access them.
You can give it a try if you’d like. And honestly, more people joining the Patreon, even through the free tier, would really encourage and support me to keep going consistently.
Thank you for all the support so far. I truly appreciate everyone who’s been reading the journey until now.
