Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1521 - 1562: Thinking Herself Superior
"Shang Shang... boohoo... boohoo..." Nun Nun’s eyes were red, and her phoenix eyes were quickly filled with tears as she desperately picked up the torn poster pieces from the ground.
Yet, Mireille Yowell haughtily said, "Hmph, I accidentally tore Brother Jeremiah’s stuff, but after all, Brother Jeremiah won’t blame me. You must not steal Brother Jeremiah’s things again next time, and you can’t tell Brother Jeremiah about this either!"
But Nun Nun seemed as if she hadn’t heard these words at all, simply crying while picking up the torn poster pieces from the ground, as if this was the most important thing in the world.
Meanwhile, Amelia Foster suddenly seemed to understand something. Yesterday, her daughter had happily brought home this poster, saying it was given to her by the young master, and it was her son who helped her daughter put it up on the wall.
The entire night, her daughter happily looked at the poster, even sleeping with a smile on her face.
Who could have thought that the young lady of the Landon Family would suddenly pull this stunt today?
This really wasn’t about stealing anything, it was just that the young lady of the Landon Family was jealous, so she deliberately came up with this act, just to destroy the poster.
However, due to the other party’s status, Amelia Foster could only endure. Yet in her heart, she felt even more pain for her daughter.
After Mireille Yowell left, Amelia Foster rushed to her daughter’s side and said, "Nun Nun, be good, don’t cry, don’t cry."
"Shang Shang... Shang Shang is gone..." the little one said, her hands full of the torn poster pieces.
Amelia Foster felt a pang of heartache, "No, no, mommy will put it back together for you in a bit. It’s still here, it’s still here."
"Boohoo... boohoo..." the little one cried sadly, "Nun Nun didn’t steal anything, Shang Shang was given by the young master... boohoo... Nun Nun didn’t steal."
"Mommy knows, mommy knows everything!" Amelia Foster hugged her daughter, but what good would it do to know? The people involved are the young lady of the Landon Family, with that status, that position, how could people like them argue with such a person?
Such grievances could only be swallowed silently.
On the other side, after leaving the servant’s room, Mireille Yowell happened to run into her mother who was looking for her.
"Mireille, what are you doing here?" Grace Yowell asked curiously.
"I came to teach that fool a lesson!" Mireille Yowell smugly recounted what she had done to her mother, as if she had just accomplished something triumphant, "Hmph, I’ve now torn up that poster, and that fool is upset and crying. That fool has no right to have Brother Jeremiah’s things!"
"You tore up the poster?" Grace Yowell frowned. Tearing a poster wasn’t much, but the point was it was sent by Jeremiah May to that little girl.
"Yeah, I tore it up, so what? Even if Brother Jeremiah and Grandpa May find out, they won’t blame me." She stubbornly said, though in truth, she was still worried that Brother Jeremiah would get angry if he found out, which was why she warned Amelia Foster not to say anything.
"Don’t do it again next time. If they really report you, do you think Jeremiah won’t be mad at you? You tore up the poster he gave in front of others, that’s like slapping him in the face." Even though her daughter was only six years old, Grace Yowell still tried to remind her daughter, fearing that her personality and tactics would cause her to suffer losses in the future.
