Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1589 - 1631: Kindergarten
Mabel was taken aback, not immediately understanding her daughter’s words. It was Clarence Xenos beside her who explained, "She wants to go to preschool."
After a further explanation, Mabel finally understood. It turned out that the little one followed Clarence to play with the servant’s children and discussed the matter of attending school. Then Ivy said she also wanted to go to school with Clarence to elementary school. However, one of the servant’s children pointed out that before going to elementary school, one must first attend preschool. Since Ivy hadn’t attended preschool, she couldn’t start elementary school.
So now, the little one came back expressing a strong desire to attend preschool.
But this made Mabel hesitant. If her daughter were in normal condition, naturally she should attend preschool. After all, her daughter previously attended preschool normally. But in her current situation... is preschool really suitable for her?
However, seeing her daughter’s hopeful eyes, Mabel patted her daughter’s little head, "Then let’s talk to Daddy later, ok? If Daddy agrees, then we can go to preschool." She couldn’t promise her daughter anything now, so she wanted to consult her husband’s opinion.
The little one didn’t think much, happily agreeing.
After chatting with Amelia Foster for a few more moments, Mabel took the little one back to the main residence. In the evening, when Kyle Kinston returned home, Mabel took advantage of the time when their daughter went to play with Jeremiah May to discuss the preschool matter with Kyle.
"I’ve been thinking, with Ivy’s current condition, she can’t have surgery for a few years. If she stays indoors all the time, it’s okay at this residence, with some servant’s children accompanying her. But when we move to the new house, won’t she become too isolated?" Mabel feared that even if the blood clot in her daughter’s brain disappeared and her cognitive condition improved, she might become socially withdrawn, which would be disastrous. "But if she attends a regular preschool, I’m worried in her current state, she might be ridiculed or bullied by other children. However, if she goes to a preschool for special children, I’m afraid it might worsen her condition." After all, her daughter wasn’t born slow; it was an accident that caused her impairment. And the doctor previously mentioned that interacting with other children could aid her recovery.
According to Amelia Foster, her daughter’s condition was much better than when she initially found her.
"Then let’s enroll her in a regular preschool," Kyle quickly decided. "In her current state, she doesn’t differ too much from children her age. Some kids this age react slower or are a bit dull too. To be safe, let’s register her in the toddler class."
Mabel thought about it and agreed. Children in toddler classes are usually around 3 to 4 years old. According to the doctor, her daughter’s cognitive level is akin to a three-year-old, so placing her in a toddler class seemed appropriate.
The next day, Mabel contacted a preschool in City F, reputed to be the best in the city — equipped with comprehensive facilities and excellent educators.
Mabel and Kyle took their daughter to the preschool. Once the teachers learned about the couple’s identity, they warmly received them. Upon understanding Ivy’s condition, they assured there’d be no problem, and she could be placed in the toddler class. They promised to pay special attention to her.
