Endless Debt

Chapter 1501 - 63: Direct Strike at the Core

From the moment Nesanel stepped out of the Ethereal Overlapping Point, the hunt against him naturally reached a conclusion. Looking at the corpses Nesanel brought out with him... And what about the ones he couldn’t bring out? Had they been completely obliterated into ashes, with not even a trace of their form remaining?

An indescribable oppression and despair descended. From this moment on, the tide of the battle completely reversed, spiraling towards an uncontrollable direction for the All Secrets Order.

Some trembled, some stood dazed, some had their sanity shattered and let out nonsensical roars, while others knelt weakly on the ground, their eyes filled with scorching pure white.

To assassinate Nesanel, the All Secrets Order exhausted all their efforts. They not only dispatched the Seeker of Glory but also teamed up with the Night Race, bearing Aurora Power, exploiting the overlap of the Ethereal Realm and the Material Realm...

Everything imagined was so beautiful. In their plan, Nesanel would be killed a thousand times in that Extraordinary Domain. They envisioned a world after Nesanel’s death, but what if they failed to kill Nesanel?

In fact, everyone knew that if they couldn’t kill Nesanel, they’d face dire consequences, but no one talked about it. In fact, to harbor thoughts of failure within the All Secrets Order was a taboo.

The All Secrets Order couldn’t afford to lose, for the ideology of Condensation supremacy, for an ideal world, for their interests, purposes, ideals, for whatever reason.

They absolutely couldn’t lose, but they lost nonetheless.

"Ne... Nesa..."

Someone called out the name of the Flame Demon in terror. Before he could utter the forbidden name, Nesanel descended the stairs, a wave of heat enveloping the person completely.

In just an instant, the high temperature scorched away his skin and clothes, his flesh rapidly withered and shriveled, and the despair and shock on his face were eternally frozen in the flames like molded pottery.

Nesanel continued forward.

Pure Ether twisted reality, shaping deadly heat. The accumulated heat converged together, forming burning flames, flames continually converging and unleashing into absolute, scorching light.

Daylight arrived.

The intense light, carrying immense heat, indiscriminately bombarded in all directions.

People burned, the air burned, the ground burned, buildings burned, Ether burned. Everything seemed coated in an orange-red filter, as if the world itself was burning, the heatwave breathing, sweeping up fleeting sparks.

The Condensers present were all incinerated into charred remains, their ashen, shriveled bodies slowly deforming in the heat, as if in worship of the Celestial God, bowing their heads.

Nesanel stared ahead, never acknowledging any corpse, indifferent to any casualties. Ever since he first saw the Night Race in the Land of Secrets, his heart had become cold as iron.

As Nesanel fully stepped out of the overlapping point, the weakening of the power’s support led to the thinning connection between the Material Realm and the Ethereal Realm.

At the moment the two realms completely separated and returned to normalcy, disturbing agitation sounded from deep within the Ethereal Realm, as if something was attempting to cross the realms, furious and roaring, pursuing Nesanel.

An absolute blackness emerged from the light, spreading like a virus, devouring the light in the blink of an eye, leaving only darkness to face Nesanel.

With the world’s barrier gone, the darkness fully revealed its true form.

It wasn’t simply the darkness of the night, nor any conventional darkness, but a "color" beyond ordinary comprehension, outside the rules of reality.

Nothing could penetrate this darkness. Under it, all light was mercilessly devoured, all colors madly twisted, any sound could not escape the devouring of this darkness, regardless of volume, being ruthlessly absorbed by this chaotic curtain, leaving only silent stillness.

In the absolute silence, eerie and profound whispers arose directly in Nesanel’s mind, echoing as if thousands of lost souls hovered around him, whispering.

The voice, hoarse and distorted, uttered obscure words. Nesanel couldn’t understand, but he knew they must be words of curses aimed at him.

Nesanel took a deep breath. Despite the surrounding temperature already being at its extreme, he felt as if he had inhaled a breath of icy cold air, a stabbing pain in his respiratory tract.

Under the darkness, his own light and heat were rapidly waning, his power entirely suppressed.

No... Nesanel wasn’t suppressed; he just couldn’t feel their existence anymore.

The blackness was bizarre and real, seemingly having its own life and consciousness. It writhed, trembled, as if breathing. The edges of darkness twisted in the light like liquid metal, emitting blurry rays but always maintaining its untouchable mystery.

It was an evil that shouldn’t exist in this world, yet now, it had descended here through a means of crossing realms.

"Nesanel..."

The voice called out.

Nesanel stared into the darkness. He saw nothing, but he knew something was advancing within the darkness, striding toward him.

"Nesanel..."

It continued to call, the fugitive who was supposed to die in the darkness but had escaped.
