"The Evernight Demon King has issued the order!"

Everyone present beside the Count-Duke Finedloin here was among the highest-ranking members of the Evernight Realm Conquest Division, and they had seen and experienced too many things, so there weren’t many things that could catch them off guard.

But this revelation shocked all of them, and their eyes narrowed with disbelief as they unconsciously returned toward the enormous formation projection of the Undead Cradle’s Realm Gateway.

This gateway had existed for countless years, and the Council had spent an enormous amount of resources establishing and maintaining it.

More importantly, they had served the Realm Conquest Division for countless years, and knew better than almost anyone how valuable a secret realm like the Undead Cradle could be.

There were too many mysteries remaining there, too many unknown regions, and too many possibilities.

So, they couldn’t believe the Evernight Demon King had given such an order to destroy one of the secret realms that contained top cultivation resources.

Although they all knew the Undead Cradle couldn’t be fully conquered, it was still under their rule despite its unique circumstances.

They were even aware of the recent development of the secret realm and how it was going to be conquered, since even two Evernight Kings had personally descended with many Evernight Sanctuary experts.

Yet Finedloin was now telling them they needed to destroy the realm gateway without explanation; their hearts tightened. After all, destroying it meant completely severing the Council’s connection to the Undead Cradle.

They all hesitated, but only for a moment, because the order had been issued by an Evernight King, and not only that, the Midnight Duke was there personally, so he was most likely the one carrying out this order to Finedloin.

No matter how powerful or influential the Midnight Duke was, he wouldn’t dare to use the Evernight King’s name like this unless he wanted to live the rest of his life in misery.

Finedloin also quietly swallowed his thoughts, as he might be a Count-Duke with the potential to succeed an Evernight Duke, and might control one of the most important divisions of the Sanctuary, but even he wasn’t foolish enough to defy the Evernight Kings.

"Understood!"

"Good!" His voice was calm, but his thoughts, however, remained hidden: ’What exactly happened inside that realm?’

He kept those thoughts to himself like everyone else, and before he could think further...

’RUMBLE!’

The entire Realm Conquest Division shook, and every formation array began flashing simultaneously.

Finedloin’s expression changed. "What now?"

An Evernight Marquis suddenly shouted, "Count-Duke! Something is approaching through the realm gateway spatial channel!"

Finedloin immediately looked toward the central projection, and his pupils contracted as he knew what was happening.

’They’re here!’

The next instant, a colossal silhouette was emerging from the darkness; it was so enormous that the surrounding spatial laws seemed to distort around it.

It was like an artificial continent, but in truth it was an enormous war machine; a moving fortress capable of invading entire realms. The Realmbreaker Conquest Ark!

It had returned as the ark slowly emerged from the spatial passage, and countless ancient formations covered its surface. Its enormous body was still radiating the remnants of spatial turbulence from the Undead Cradle.

Finedloin stared at it silently. ’So they really came back...’

The enormous Ark finally stabilized, and its sealed outer gates remained closed. Then a voice echoed through the entire Realm Conquest Division.

"Realm Gate secured."

"All spatial anchors stabilized."

"Arrival confirmed."

Finedloin immediately straightened as the Ark had arrived, and with it, the Evernight Council’s forces had returned from the Undead Cradle.

The next moment, he raised his hand. "Activate the destruction sequence."

The others immediately snapped out of their stupor and responded, "Yes, Count-Duke!"

One formation after another illuminated, and ancient runes spread across the enormous Realm Gateway.

’KRRRRR...’

The Gateway began to tremble, and its spatial laws grew unstable. A red warning symbol appeared above it.

"REALM GATEWAY DESTRUCTION SEQUENCE INITIATED!"

Finedloin’s eyes narrowed, and then the Realm Gateway behind the ark suddenly exploded.

’BOOOOOOOOOOM!’

A terrifying spatial storm erupted through the chamber, and countless formation chains shot outward before wrapping around the Gateway.

Thereafter, the ancient structure began to collapse inward as its spatial coordinates were severed and its connection to the Undead Cradle was forcibly erased.

Layer after layer of spatial law shattered, and the Gateway’s enormous frame cracked, then collapsed.

Silence returned, and Finedloin stared at the empty space where the gateway had once existed. His expression remained emotionless, but deep within his eyes was a trace of complicated emotion.

Another secret realm had been severed from the Council, and this time, it was one that even the Evernight Kings had feared!

Inside the Realmbreaker Conquest Ark, for the first time since leaving the Undead Cradle, the atmosphere had become somewhat calmer.

The oppressive feeling that had followed everyone throughout the secret realm had finally disappeared, and the enormous sealed doorway separating the Ark’s interior from the outside remained closed.

No one was allowed to leave until the Midnight Duke completed his final inspection, and then a deep voice echoed through the Ark.

"Realm Gateway connection confirmed."

"The Evernight Sanctuary has been reached."

"All personnel remain in position."

At this moment, Ace stood among numerous Evernight Trial participants, and they were all curiously yet excitedly waiting to finally enter the sacred ground of the Evernight Council.

Eva had been taken away by the Dread Duchess, and so had the disciples of the other Evernight Dukes and members of the Evernight Council, into another section of the Ark. Nonetheless, Ace knew he had safely arrived at the Evernight Sanctuary.

His eyes narrowed slightly with a hint of excitement. ’So this is it. The Evernight Sanctuary, the true heart of the Evernight Council. The place where countless mysteries of the Abyss are hidden. The place where the Council had accumulated its strength for countless years. And now, I’m finally here!’

Within the control center of the Ark, the Midnight Duke remained standing respectfully because standing in front of him were two Evernight Kings.

Right at this moment, the Evernight Fiend King raised his hand and coldly stated, "Open the outer gate!"

The Midnight Duke didn’t dare to tarry and quickly followed the order...

’KRRRRRRR...’

The next instant, ancient mechanisms began moving, and countless seals disengaged.

The enormous doorway slowly opened; a torrent of black light flooded into the Ark, and beyond that doorway, the Evernight Sanctuary revealed itself!
