Alarm flared. He put most of his attention on the long saber on Wang Yue’s back, meaning to dodge the instant it was drawn.

Wang Yue did not draw. He chopped out another palm instead.

What Li Chonghe truly feared was only that saber move. Seeing him use a palm instead of the saber, his tight nerves loosened a lot and he kept using a palm to dissolve it.

This time he was wrong again. This palm was at least several times stronger than the last, and much faster. His casual block could not stop it at all. The palm slammed into his right shoulder.

Luckily Li Chonghe’s dying self-detonation was uncontrolled. The power went in all directions and was not focused. Otherwise this one hit, even if Wang Yue did not die, would have left him wounded to the brink of death.

Even so, that force was more than he could bear. It knocked him flying dozens of meters before he smashed into the ground.

In that moment he felt there was not a place on him that did not hurt. He did not even dare breathe deep, or he was afraid the pain would knock him out.

If he passed out here, even if a passerby did not casually kill him, killing Li Chonghe would not stay hidden.

Gritting against the dizziness from extreme pain, he struggled a good while before he finally got his left hand to his chest, found little aunt’s number, and dialed.

"Stinking brat, what are you calling me for this late? Don’t tell me tonight you had nowhere to put your cock and only then thought of your little aunt." Su Mengqing’s tone held threads of grievance. It had been almost a week since last time and this brat still had not come. Did he expect his little aunt to take the initiative every time?

"Little Aunt, I’m thirty li south of the city. Come save me." Speaking was already hard. He had no mind for dirty jokes.

"What?" Su Mengqing jumped. She did not bother asking more, said quickly, "I’m coming," and hung up.

In only ten minutes Su Mengqing’s tall, sexy figure appeared on the main road beside the dense wood.

"What happened?" she asked.

"That Li Chonghe came looking. I could tell this old brat was no good..." He told her everything and did not hide why he had been in such a hurry to kill Li Chonghe.

When she finished listening she was both moved and angry. She said, annoyed, "You think your little aunt is stupid? Let that guy take advantage? And I’m still president of Golden Mountain’s Adventurers Association. Before he has a handle on me he wouldn’t dare do anything. You actually took this risk. That’s just messing around."

"For you, I’m willing to mess around." A cheesy line slipped out.

She ate that up. Her tone immediately went soft. "You’re not allowed to be this impulsive again, understand? If something happens at least talk it over with me. Do you know how risky this was? Forget that you might not have been Li Chonghe’s match. Even with a hundred percent chance of killing him you needed a tight plan. Behind him stands a Shed Mortal great power."

His heart jumped. Fuck. He had just finished one Return True, and now a Shed Mortal popped out?
