"Are you alright?"

Long Feng supported her swaying figure, catching her hand with one hand while his other arm went around her waist, gently pulling her closer to keep her steady.

Bai Liying nodded, though her face was still slightly pale.

"I’m fine. It was just a sudden pain."

Long Feng frowned slightly. From her complexion and unstable aura, he could tell that something wasn’t right.

At that moment, Bai Liying suddenly felt another wave of dizziness. Her body swayed slightly.

"You’re not in good condition."

"I’m fine."

Bai Liying instinctively rejected his help. But before she could properly steady herself, her legs weakened again.

She stumbled slightly, forcing Long Feng to tighten his hold around her waist.

Her face flushed faintly. She wanted to step away, but her body simply wasn’t cooperating.

What she didn’t know was that the dizziness wasn’t entirely caused by her injuries.

Long Feng naturally had no intention of explaining it. Instead, he looked at her with a concerned expression.

Long Feng happened to be looking forward, his handsome profile illuminated by the sunlight filtering through the surrounding buildings.

His expression was calm, and there was a faint confidence in his eyes that hadn’t been there years ago.

’He really has changed.’

She quickly looked away again when she realized she had been staring.

Unfortunately, Long Feng had already noticed. He turned his head slightly.

"Why are you looking at me?"

"I wasn’t!"

Her response came a little too quickly.

Long Feng’s smile grew wider. After a few steps, Long Feng spoke again.

"Come on. I’ll take you back to your residence."

"There’s no need. I can walk myself."

Long Feng glanced at her pale face.

"You nearly fell down just now."

"I..." Bai Liying didn’t know how to respond.

Seeing he was almost succeed in his intention, he speak again.

"Since we’re fellow disciples who entered the sect together, helping you return home is only a small matter."

Before she could refuse again, he supported her more firmly. His grip tighten upon her waist, firmly supported her.

Bai Liying’s body stiffened slightly. She wasn’t accustomed to being this close to a man.

Bai Liying led him toward the main room. When they reached the bed, he carefully helped her sit down.

She rested against the headboard, her complexion still somewhat pale.

Long Feng pulled a chair over and sat beside her.

"Before you rest, take this."

He took out a jade bottle from his storage ring and poured a pill into his palm. The pill was faintly golden, with a rich medicinal fragrance surrounding it.

Bai Liying’s eyes widened slightly.

"This..."

She immediately recognized that it was a Fourth-Rank healing pill.

Long Feng looked at her.

"We’re fellow disciples who entered the sect together. It’s only a healing pill."
