Evil Clown Evolution [A VRMMORPG Adventure]
Ch 76 - Six Against an Army
Every monster in Eternal Legacy had a grade, much like items and equipment. The grading system began with Common, followed by Rare, Elite, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and continued even beyond those ranks.
However, monsters also had a second classification known as the Tier system, consisting of Named, Boss, Field Boss, Raid Boss, and World Boss.
Named characters were usually unique NPCs that played important roles within the game's world. For example, when Jester killed Caelan, the prince had been classified as a Named-tier character.
Next came the standard Boss tier. These were the monsters most players encountered inside dungeons or in certain open-world areas, where they typically commanded groups of weaker monsters. A balanced party of five players at an equal level was usually enough to withstand the damage and bring down a normal Boss.
Above that came the Field Boss tier, which generally required at least twenty players around the same level to defeat.
Next was the Raid Boss tier.
Raid Bosses appeared far less frequently, often only once every month, and usually in remote locations that were difficult to reach. Under normal circumstances, defeating one required around forty players of a similar level working together.
At the very top stood the World Boss.
These monsters were true calamities, powerful enough to threaten entire regions. Defeating one typically required the combined strength of at least one hundred, sometimes even two hundred, players around the same level. Even then, victory was never guaranteed.
That was precisely why the appearance of a Level 215 Raid Boss was so terrifying.
Under normal circumstances, it would take around forty Level 200-plus players working together just to have a realistic chance of bringing it down.
It was no surprise that even after members of one of the strongest guilds arrived in Necroton, very few people believed they could actually defeat it. There were only six of them. No matter how powerful those six players were, the numbers simply didn't add up.
A truly powerful team required more than raw strength. It needed a complete composition, frontliners to hold the line, long-range damage dealers to attack safely from behind, defenders capable of absorbing devastating blows, heavy hitters to break through enemy defenses, crowd-control specialists to manage large groups, experts in massive area-of-effect damage, powerful single-target attackers for priority enemies, and, above all, healers and support players to keep the entire formation alive throughout the battle.
With only six people, facing a Raid Boss of this level should have been nothing short of impossible.
And yet, those six were already moving.
On one side of the battlefield, Siki burst into a full sprint, his crimson cape snapping violently behind him as he accelerated toward the Raid Boss.
His body began to transform.
Layer after layer of gleaming white armor materialized around him, encasing his entire body. A heavy helmet soon formed over his head, completely concealing his face except for a bold T-shaped visor that stretched down the center, giving him the imposing appearance of a holy knight.
A massive weapon suddenly appeared in his hand. It was a greatsword with a long hilt designed for two-handed combat. Its broad white blade shimmered with elegant golden patterns.
Clad in brilliant armor and a crimson cape, Siki charged forward like a knight leading the assault.
"Someone definitely sent this thing here. Hah! I've got a feeling this is going to turn into something huge. My instincts have never failed me when it comes to things like this!"
Running beside him on the right was Windious.
He moved at incredible speed, almost as though he were riding the wind itself. Resting in his hands was a gigantic war axe, its handle even longer than his own height. He repeatedly leaped through the air, changing direction effortlessly as if gravity barely applied to him.
"We need to wipe out the smaller monsters first! If they break through and reach the city, this battle is only going to get worse!"
A thunderous impact suddenly erupted to Siki's left.
A massive figure landed on the battlefield.
Kingston's body rapidly expanded, growing two or three times larger than before. In moments, he had transformed into a gigantic armored bear, his hulking frame towering over the surrounding monsters.
He threw back his head and released a deafening roar. Then he swung one enormous claw forward.

The single strike generated overwhelming force, blasting every monster in front of him through the air as their bodies were hurled across the battlefield.
"Leave this side to me!" the gigantic bear roared.
Siki, in his Shining Knight form, dashed forward at incredible speed. Despite wielding the massive greatsword with only one hand, his movements were both graceful and overwhelmingly powerful. He shot straight into the middle of the monster horde before spinning in a wide arc, his blade carving through everything around him and sending multiple monsters flying across the battlefield.
A moment later, he launched himself high into the air. Then he came crashing back down.
His greatsword slammed into the ground with explosive force, sending a violent shockwave racing across the battlefield. The earth shattered beneath the impact as dozens of nearby monsters were blasted into the air and thrown in every direction.
"There are way too many of them!" Siki shouted. "We don't have to finish every single one ourselves! Just weaken as many as we can! The others can clean up the rest!"
On the other side, Windious continued soaring through the air, spinning his enormous war axe above his head like a helicopter rotor. Even in the middle of the battlefield, he wore a bright grin as if he were enjoying every second of it.
"Everyone watching, keep your eyes wide open!" Windious shouted.
"This is the power of the Vesperion Guild! Right over there is Siki, our legendary Shining Knight! If you see a massive sword swinging around and monsters flying everywhere, that's him! And over there is Kingston, our walking fortress! He's the guy who turns into a giant armored bear and crushes anything stupid enough to get too close!"
Windious came crashing down with his war axe. The earth exploded beneath his feet as jagged cracks shot across the battlefield, sending every monster around him tumbling through the air.
"And standing before all of you..." Windious twirled his gigantic axe onto his shoulder with a carefree grin. "...is the greatest star of today's show! The fastest warrior in Vesperion Guild, the master of the wind... Windious himself! Hahahaha!"
Another figure shot past not far from Windious as a violent vortex of wind spiraled into existence around her. The cameras quickly shifted, locking onto the distant silhouette.
It was Clover.
Her spear spun effortlessly through the air as she struck again and again, yet every movement looked more like a graceful dance than a series of attacks. She glided across the battlefield with elegant footwork, her body flowing naturally with each rotation of her weapon.
Without warning, several massive tornadoes erupted from her position and tore across the battlefield in different directions.
Then, Clover dove straight into one of the raging tornadoes. Instead of being swallowed by it, the powerful winds carried her upward. Her body spiraled through the vortex before she was lifted high above the battlefield, floating effortlessly in the storm she had created.
Hovering above the battlefield, she unleashed a rapid series of spear slashes into the empty air. Each swing released enormous blades of compressed wind.
Within seconds, dozens...
Then hundreds...
Of gigantic wind blades rained down over the battlefield, cutting through the monster horde as explosions of wind erupted one after another.
Windious pointed toward her with an excited grin.
"Now feast your eyes on the mighty Clover! She's speed! She's elegance! She's an absolute menace from a distance! Don't let that spear fool you! You'd think she's a frontline fighter, but nope! She's a long-range artillery unit disguised as a spear user! Hahaha! By the time you get close enough to hit her, you've already been sliced into pieces!"
On the other side of the battlefield, a graceful figure floated high in the sky. Her crimson robe fluttered dramatically in the wind, making her look almost untouchable amidst the chaos below.
It was Naevys.
She raised both hands as countless magic circles unfolded behind her, layering one after another until they filled the sky like a glowing arsenal.
The next moment, streams of magical constructs burst from the circles.
Lances, blades, spears, arrows, and countless other weapons forged entirely from golden mana shot downward in an endless barrage, bombarding the monsters below with deafening explosions.
Among them, a gigantic golden war axe spun through the air before hurtling toward the battlefield.
BOOM!
It smashed into the ground with overwhelming force, blasting monsters away as the earth erupted beneath the impact.
"Naevys!" Windious shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Give it up for our queen of long-range combat! She's the guild's ultimate magic user! While everyone else is busy swinging weapons, she's busy commanding an entire arsenal from the sky!”
"Every weapon you see is a magical construct under her control! Swords, spears, axes, hammers, bows, you name it, she can recreate it and send it flying from hundreds of meters away! And come on, I know Naevys has fans watching from all over the world! So let me hear you make some noise for her!"
Then the view shifted to another part of the battlefield, soaring high into the sky before stopping on a lone figure standing atop a transparent platform suspended in the air.
It was Serissa.
She opened the umbrella in her hand, and the instant it unfolded, countless small, yellow rocket-like projectiles materialized around her. Dozens appeared at first, then hundreds, spreading across the sky as brilliant yellow sparks of electricity danced between them, filling the air with crackling energy.
A heartbeat later, they all shot forward at once.
The glowing projectiles scattered across the battlefield like a relentless storm, streaking through the air before detonating one after another. Deafening explosions echoed without pause, shaking the entire battlefield as fire and smoke erupted in every direction.
"Serissa!"
Windious launched himself into the air before crashing back down, slamming his massive war axe into the ground with overwhelming force.
"Our one and only Ojou-sama!"
"She's brutal, relentless, unbelievably smart, a true genius, and merciless when it comes to dealing damage! A battlefield this massive is her playground! As long as she's perched high above the fight, no one can reach her, while she rains down destruction on every enemy below!"
The livestream chat exploded with excited comments, filled with growing confidence in the six members of Vesperion Guild.
"They're insanely strong. This doesn't even feel fair anymore."
"Yeah... but they still haven't gone up against the real enemy."
"Those smaller monsters are getting destroyed like nothing. The Raid Boss is a completely different story."
"Six players against a Level 215 Raid Boss... I don't care how strong they are, that's insane."
"Forget six. They're Vesperion. If anyone can pull this off, it's them."
"I wonder if they've actually got enough firepower to end this war."
