Evil Clown Evolution [A VRMMORPG Adventure]
Chapter 110 B2 Ch 108 - An Uninvited Fighter
The Big Red Demon swung his massive war axe, ready to deliver the final blow. But just as the weapon came crashing down, it suddenly stopped in midair, struck by a violent force that sent waves of energy bursting in every direction.
From his towering height, the demon glanced slightly to the side and saw someone standing there, somehow holding back the full weight of his devastating attack.
The figure did not seem to carry any weapon at all. Instead, two of the enormous spectral hands surrounding her had crossed in front of her, catching the demon’s axe between them.
"Who is this worthless insect who dares interfere with my battle?! I will crush you into the ground and tear you apart with my own hands!" the Big Red Demon roared.
The girl only gave him a wide grin in response.
“Oh, come on. There’s a fight this big and crazy happening right in front of me. How am I supposed to just stand here and watch without jumping in? Besides, I’m pretty sure Princess Rania won’t mind if I steal a little of the fun, right?”
The girl glanced toward her afterward.
Rania stood not far away, still struggling to hold back another attack with her sword. Her eyes shifted toward the unfamiliar figure.
“A player,” she said. “Vesperion Guild?” she continued.
"Oh, I am truly honored. I never thought our name would have traveled far enough to reach the ears of Her Highness, the Second Princess."
Rania readied her sword again. "In truth, your people have appeared in all kinds of major incidents lately. Your guild even became the center of attention when half of your members helped defend Necroton some time ago."
"Oh, that is the city where the Eighth Prince is staying." The girl suddenly leaped backward and landed beside Rania just as the Big Red Demon raised his axe once more, preparing himself for another massive swing.
The girl continued, "So yeah, I was not there myself, but my guildmates definitely were. Although, from what I heard, Prince Caelan was actually the one who made the biggest contribution during that whole battle."
Rania gave a small nod. "That is one thing I never expected to hear even once in my entire life."
"You seem pretty harsh on that crybaby prince, huh?"
"I do not think calling him that in front of me is a very smart idea, huh? He is still my sibling."
"Do I have to stand here and wait for you pathetic creatures to finish chatting and having your little reunion?!" the Big Red Demon roared.
He continued. "Have you forgotten that you are standing before me?! Or are you deliberately dragging this out because you are too terrified to continue fighting?! Enough! I have listened to your useless chatter for far too long! If you have last words to say, then say them now, because I will crush every last one of you and turn this entire battlefield into your grave!"
"Ah, this big red ass is seriously noisy," Amet said afterward, casually turning her attention back toward him. "So, Princess, shall we finish this? I think this will be my first Demon Commander hunt. I am really interested in killing this thing and seeing just how tough someone with that title actually is."
"With pleasure. I was already planning to bring him down myself, but I suppose having another pair of hands will make this quicker."
The girl immediately grinned, excitement flashing across her face. "I will try attacking from his blind spots and keep forcing him to divide his attention, while you continue pressuring him from the front. And my friend over there," she said, turning toward the other side of the battlefield, where a man with long black hair tied behind his head stood watching them. The moment their eyes met, he casually raised one hand and gave her a thumbs-up.

"He will attack from long range and cover both of us whenever that big bastard tries anything troublesome. Between the three of us, we should be able to keep him from getting any room to breathe. We will finish this fight before he gets another chance to scream our ears off."
"Do not blame me if I am the one who takes the final blow," Rania said, tightening her grip around the hilt of her sword.
"I like that fighting spirit, Your Highness. I already saw how you were fighting before I jumped in, and I know you are not the kind of person who will quietly stand aside and let someone else steal your kill."
Just as those final words left her lips, the massive war axe came crashing down toward them. The two figures immediately shot away in opposite directions, escaping only a moment before the weapon struck the ground. The impact erupted with tremendous force, sending a violent wave of energy tearing outward in every direction.
Surrounded by a blazing red aura, Rania rushed toward one side of the demon, while another figure soared high through the air above him before suddenly diving straight down at incredible speed. It was Amet.
The demon roared and immediately swung his axe upward at Amet with frightening speed. The girl twisted her body in midair, narrowly slipping past the enormous blade before changing direction again without ever touching the ground.
Then hundreds of arrows suddenly rained down from the sky.
The demon looked up in alarm as the arrows descended from every direction. He let out another furious roar when they struck his massive body one after another, each impact releasing bursts of energy across his skin. A violent surge exploded from his body a moment later, blasting outward and knocking away the remaining arrows before they could reach him.
Amet was already moving again.
She flashed from one side to another, appearing directly in front of the demon's face before suddenly slipping past him. She twisted through the air in a sharp spinning motion, gathering momentum before her leg slammed hard into the right side of his face.
The impact thundered across the battlefield.
The demon's enormous head snapped sideways as the force of Amet's kick threw his balance off for a brief moment.
Rania immediately took advantage of the opening.
She rushed in from the opposite side, her red aura burning brighter around her as she brought her sword across the demon's body in a powerful slash. The blade tore through his defense and forced him to turn toward her, but before he could properly retaliate, Amet was already moving again.
With another furious roar, the demon swung his massive war axe in a wide sweep, forcing everything around him away as the enormous blade tore through the air with enough force to send another violent shockwave across the battlefield.
Amet continued maneuvering through the air, constantly changing direction before the axe could reach her. Her movements were so fast that they almost resembled short-range teleportation.
She appeared near his shoulder, vanished from his reach, then came rushing back from another angle. Twisting her entire body in midair, she delivered another spinning kick against him, further disrupting the demon's balance before immediately darting away from his counterattack.
At the same time, arrows continued flying in from the distance.
One after another, they struck different parts of the demon's enormous body, never giving him enough time to properly recover. Whenever he tried to focus on Rania, Amet attacked from another angle. Whenever he attempted to crush Amet with his axe, Rania rushed forward with another slash. And whenever he tried to force both of them back, another rain of arrows came from the distance.
The demon was quickly being forced into an increasingly difficult position. Attacks were coming from every direction, leaving him with only two choices: continue defending himself against all three of them at once, or focus his strength on retaliating against one opponent and leave himself completely exposed to the other two.
Jester, on the other hand, continued watching everything from a distance. By now, he had even settled into a comfortable sitting position, his entire body cloaked in layers of shadow. With his presence completely concealed like this, there was almost no chance that anyone on the battlefield would find him or even realize that he was there.
"What do you think of the situation, Vanessa?"
The vampire girl, who was sitting beside Jester, slowly nodded as she continued observing the battle below.
"THe Demon Commander is tougher and more troublesome than I expected. Even while fighting three opponents at the same time, he still seems capable of holding his ground without being completely overwhelmed. Then again, I suppose there is a reason he earned the rank of a Demon Commander in the first place."
The vampire girl fell silent again for a moment, her eyes carefully following every movement on the battlefield.
"This fight will not end just yet. That demon is far too stubborn to fall that easily. Still, I doubt he will continue fighting for much longer once he realizes how badly the situation has turned against him. Even someone like him should understand that he cannot properly fight back against those three while they keep attacking him from different directions."
Jester gave a small nod in response. At almost the exact same moment, it became increasingly clear that the demon forces across the battlefield had already begun pulling back.
Groups of demons were retreating from the front lines one after another, their formation gradually breaking apart as they withdrew from the battlefield.
"So the war is really going to end this quickly?" Jester said afterward.
