Time flowed quietly by; in the blink of an eye, several months had passed.

During those months, the universe remained eerily calm, like a sea without ripples.

Every so often, however, rumors spread, whispers of Void Creatures invading the universe.

However, these incursions were always small. One, perhaps two creatures at most. They destroyed a city here, a town there, but nothing that shook the universe.

Still, many powers grew wary.

After all, the Buddhist Sect stood as the best warning of what could happen.

If a force as mighty as the Buddhist Sect got devastated, many of their sacred treasures robbed, that alone sent shivers through all races beneath the stars.

Thus, the Void Clan became like a thorn lodged in the heart of every civilization.

Everyone was afraid of them, and were on guard against them.

This was imperative.

However, in the same stillness, far away in a remote corner of the Eastern Sector, strange things began to stir.

A series of violet vortices slowly bloomed into existence.

Purple radiance flooded the starry void, spreading like mist, corroding everything in its path.

It was a sight both beautiful yet spine-chilling.

And from within those swirling maelstroms, three silhouettes emerged.

They were Envy, Seventh, and Nineth, members of the Void’s most terrifying Force: the Original Sins.

They had appeared here under the direct orders from their Boss, the Lord of the Void himself.

Their mission was to find a certain objection within a minor race, a stone stele that was several dozen feet tall and indestructible in nature.

“Find it… at any cost.” The memory of that cold, unfeeling command echoed in their minds.

The three couldn’t help but exchange glances, as a look of determination overtook their faces.

It was their first mission carried out alone. Failure was not an option.

Thinking this, Uer, also known as Seventh, the slender figure with black hair, suddenly shot toward a corner of the starry expanse. “Let’s split up. I’ll search this way.”

“Fine,” said Nineth, Tiya, a golden-haired beauty with a stunning figure. She gave a soft smile and shot off in another direction.

As for the Third Void King, the bearer of the mark of Envy, his arrogance was well-known, and was difficult to get along with. He went his own way without a word.

As a matter of fact, the place they had appeared was not their destination.

They had merely chosen this entry point because the barrier between the Void Space and the Universe was weakest here, easy to pierce.

The true location of their target, the Race that possessed the stele, was still far away, hidden somewhere among the endless worlds.

And so, the hunt began.

The universe was vast beyond imagination. Even someone as powerful as Yu Zi Yu could only estimate an approximate region before sending the three here.

Powerful Forces like the Buddhist Sect, who possessed distinct energy signatures, were like a candle in the darkness, extremely dazzling. After obtaining the coordinates from the Sacred Son of Buddha, pinpointing their domain was quite easy.

However, for weaker Races or Forces scattered across the stars, even with a general direction, it could take ages to locate the exact coordinates.

Five days later, however, the silence shattered.

A shocking report swept across the Eastern Sector like wildfire.

In the Wingcrest Galaxy, located in a remote corner of the Eastern Sector, three Humanoid Void Creatures had suddenly descended.

The indigenous race of this galaxy, the Aeridian Clan, suffered devastating losses, their casualties mounting to no fewer than ten million. Several members of their core leadership, the High Aeridian Conclave, were missing, presumably dead.

The entire Eastern Sector was in uproar.

From great Clans to Minor Sects, all turned pale upon hearing the news.

And soon, the Dragon Clan, the ruler of Eastern Sector, dispatched several Tier-6 Overlords to investigate.

“There is no mistake…it’s definitely the aura of the Void Clan,” rumbled a Golden Dragon, his eyes cold as ice. “And not just any Void creatures, but humanoid creatures. If I’m not mistaken… they should be the Original Sins of the Void Clan.”

“Hmph. Those Void Vermin grow bolder by the day. How dare they wreak havoc in a domain under our Dragon Clan’s protection?” Snarled a Red Dragon, burning with furry.

“They’ve always been bold. Don’t forget how the Buddha Realm was brought to ruin…” the majestic Golden Dragon grimly reminded, before taking a deep breath.

The Void Clan was terrifying, not only for their numbers, but for their silent invasion.

They came without warning, vanished without trace, leaving only ruin in their wake.

Who could guard against an enemy like that?

However, there was nothing they could do.

After all, behind the Void Clan was a supreme existence, a Void Hegemon. And it was this fearsome being who was opening the portals between the two dimensions. Thus, detecting these intrusions in advance became next to impossible.

Even so, this incident was a dire reminder.

The Void Clan remained an undeniable, ever-present threat to all creation.

Meanwhile, deep within the Void, three figures moved swiftly through the endless darkness, each bearing a massive stone stele upon their shoulders as they headed toward the deepest reaches.

“The Aeridian Clan is not a well known race, but their strength is quite impressive,” remarked Uer, his eyes narrowing slightly.

A closer look revealed a gaping hole the size of a fist in his chest, through which the world behind him was visible.

It was a wound he had sustained during his battle with an Aeridian champion.

However, because Uer bore the mark of Nothingness, such an injury posed no real threat.

It would slowly but surely over time.

However, there was no denying that the Aeridian Clan was not to be underestimated.

Especially the First Wing of the High Aeridian Council, a young girl with pristine white wings sprouting from her back.

Compared to the Angel Clan, her wings were startlingly small, no larger than a pair of palms.

At a glance, one might doubt such delicate wings could even lift her from the ground.

However, anyone foolish enough to make that assumption would pay dearly for it, simply because the Aeridians were Spatial Lifeforms, woe understanding of Space was beyond comprehension.

And thanks to their mastery over Space, their speed was equally terrifying.

Uer’s wound was the price of a single careless moment.

But injuries aside, their harvest was also rewarding.

Not only had they found the stele they were searching for, but they had also captured two champions of the Aeridian Clan, the First Wing and Seventh Wing.

According to Lady Avril of the Fallen Angels, killing powerful beings of other races was… wasteful.

It was far more valuable to take them alive and bring them back to the Void, and let the corruption consume them from within.

And so… the two captives were taken without hesitation.
