It was a curious truth of the cultivation world: while cultivators usually sought after Divine Abilities, the Wheel of Five Elements was a technique that seemed to search for its Master.

An ordinary genius could only bring out a fraction of its power, and that too barely; but should it fall into the hands of one possessing an Innate Five Elements Body, its power would not merely double, it would multiply tenfold or so.

In such a scenario, it would shed its common name and reveal its True Form: the Grand Five Elements Art.

This was the absolute manifestation of the Five Elements of the world. With it, a Master could overturn the very laws of Heaven and Earth with a casual flick of the wrist, wield the very power of creation.

Yu Zi Yu could only offer a wry smile at the thought.

It was rare for a technique’s tier to be so utterly dependent on the Bloodline of its wielder.

In the right hands, its power was on a completely different level.

Clicking his tongue in wonder, Yu Zi Yu shifted his focus to a second prize, one plundered from the Soul-imprint of the God Race’s Progenitor of the Gods, an incredible Divine Ability known as Genesis.

Why was it amazing!? The answer lay in its very name. Genesis, or to say Creation. This ability was the very foundation of the God Race’s heritage. It was the prototype of the Progenitor of Gods’ life’s work, which would later into a legendary Grand Divine Ability, famous through the ages: the Creation of the Gods.

The Progenitor of Gods’ ambition had been nothing short of madness: he sought to forge an entirely new universe from the ashes of the old.

However, such a goal was a direct affront to the Heavenly Dao.

Not long after it was created, the entire God Race nearly faced annihilation. Even the Progenitor of Gods himself suffered a calamity.

And why!? Because in the previous era, the First Immortal of the Human Race, who had launched the War to Seize Heaven in an attempt to replace the Dao.

And when the Progenitor created this Grand Divine Ability, his sin was arguably greater. He did not wish to rule the cosmos; he intended to destroy it and rebuild it in his own image to become a true Creator, the one who forged all existence.

The Heavens did not take kindly to such hubris.

The birth of the Creation of Gods triggered the ‘Twilight’ of the God Race.

In its wrath, the Heavenly Dao gave rise to a Godslayer Clan, whose sole purpose was to erase the God Race from the face of this world.

And whether by design or something else, the supreme powerhouse of the Godslayer Clan, who swept across the entire God Race, eventually birthed a counter-ability that became the God Race’s ultimate nightmare: Twilight of Gods.

Where Genesis promised creation through destruction, Twilight of Gods offered only the end. It was a variation of the Dao of End, woven from the five horrors of extinction: death, decay, decline, ruin, and annihilation.

Once unleashed, the entire God Race would be dragged into the twilight of extinction, never to exist again.

The God Race had been driven to the very precipice of the Third Era, declined by this technique. They only survived because their Supreme Imperial Artifact, the Spear of Fate, managed to pierce through the shroud of destiny at the final moment.

It carved out a single, thin thread of survival for the race.

But the backlash it caused nearly claimed the life of the user.

“A legendary aura, indeed…” Yu Zi Yu murmured.

As he gazed upon the shifting runes of Genesis, his usual confidence was tempered by a rare, sharp edge of caution. This was not just a technique; it was a fragment of a war against the universe itself.

“Genesis…” Yu Zi Yu murmured, the name of the Divine Ability lingering on his tongue. “It really does carry the weight of legend.”

Caution filled his eyes at mere thought of this ability.

This was the ‘Genesis’, the embryonic prototype of the Grand Divine Ability, Creation of the Gods.

In the grand hierarchy of mysteries, it was no mere skill; it was something that could shift the very order of existence.

Unlike the common Great Divine Abilities that experts clamored for, taboo techniques of this caliber were treacherous waters. They were best left undisturbed by those who lacked the foundation to weather the consequences.

At least, for the Yu Zi Yu of today, meddling with such power felt premature.

While he feared no creature that walked beneath the vast canopy of the stars, the unseen eye of the Heavenly Dao was a different matter.

He still regarded this silent, omnipresent force with profound wariness.

If a confrontation with the Heavens could be deferred, he would not be the one to trigger the first spark.

With that thought, Yu Zi Yu buried the secrets of Genesis into the deepest recesses of his mind.

Perhaps one day, he would need it.

For now, it was enough to keep it in reserve.

A faint, knowing smile played across his lips.

[It’s time! If I remain in seclusion any longer, the currents of the universe might undergo an upheaval I can no longer control.]

With that thought, he rose and stepped out of the Spacetime Dimension.

*Boooooom…* A thunderous roar rippled. Space and Time distorted around him, before his figure vanished into its depths.

When he re-appeared, the very foundations of the cosmos seemed to buckle.

A thunderous rumble erupted, a sound so primal it vibrated through the marrow of every living Soul within the Solar System.

Under the horrified gazes of countless experts, the stars and planets themselves began to shudder as if struck by a fever.

“What… what is happening?”

“This aura… it’s suffocating!”

“How can such a thing exist?”

Cries of disbelief rippled through the void as the pupils of countless experts shrank to pinpoints.

It was a terror that transcended logic.

It was like a supreme predator at the apex of the food chain had finally opened its eyes.

An instinctive, bone-deep fear of being reduced to prey at the bottom of the pyramid instantly gripped Tier-5s and Tier-6s alike.

A Tier-5 Human Female collapsed, her body curling into a fetal position as uncontrollable tremors racked her frame.

*Boooooom…* The sky shook once more, drawing every eye toward a single point in the silent void.

There stood a figure in flawless white robes, radiant as the cold glow of the Moon. Wisps of ethereal white mist drifted around him like celestial Dragons, and at his side, a miniature nebula swirled in a slow, rhythmic dance. Within that nebula, nine stars revolved with crystalline precision, each one a Small World, pulsing with life and law.

However, the nebula was not the true source of their dread.

Behind the figure, a gargantuan scroll had unfurled against the darkness of space. Within its depths lay ancient, sprawling kingdoms where innumerable Gods and Demons knelt in silent adoration, their mouths moving in a perpetual, silent chant that echoed in the Souls of those watching.

The swirling nebula and the divine scroll, the  hazy, sparkling brilliance around the figure… all of this set off the figure as the sole eternal existence in Heaven and Earth.

“Is that…?” an expert gasped, his face paling as recognition flickered through his shock.

However, before he could utter the name, the distant Celestial Realm erupted.

*Booooooom… Booooooom… Boooooom…*

In a series of violent detonations, more than a dozen streaks of light, each carrying the presence akin to Gods and Demons, tore through the firmament. They raced toward the figure with a desperate, singular focus.

The color drained from the faces of the onlookers, for these were the Overlords of the Demon Court, terrifying existences whose names alone could stabilize or shatter a galaxy.

And now, they were moving as one.
