Evolution: From Little Devil to Devil Empress

Since the two were essentially the same person, Liora’s demonic energy flowed into the clone seamlessly.

It coursed through its body before entering its soul space, eventually descending upon the World Seed.

The demonic energy was sprinkled upon it and nourished the seed from within.

A faint starry glow appeared across its surface as it rapidly expanded.

From the size of a human fist, it quickly grew to the size of an entire room, pressing against the boundaries of the soul space and forcing them to expand alongside it.

In the outside world, the True Devil clone’s aura rapidly surged.

Although Devils did not distinguish between Early, Middle, and Late stages, the increase in the clone’s power was unmistakable.

Several seconds later, a deafening boom erupted from within its body.

Its aura broke through a certain limit, surpassing the True Devil stage and advancing to become a Greater Devil.

By this point, the World Seed had sprouted.

Small black roots emerged from its surface, extending toward reality and continuously absorbing external energy to nourish themselves.

Seeing this, Liora realized that the second stage of the Origin Sea Path had become a reality.

World Sapling Stage—this was the name she finally settled on before proceeding to the next stage.

This time, an even greater amount of demonic energy poured into the clone’s body, accompanied by Cosmic Energy now that the World Sapling had gained the ability to devour external energy.

Just like before, the sapling grew larger.

Its aura became increasingly terrifying as it gradually fused completely with the clone’s soul space.

Then, a faint cracking sound echoed.

At first, it was almost inaudible.

Yet as the second, third, and fourth ones occurred, it became increasingly obvious that something was going on.

The World Sapling within the clone’s soul space started to break apart. Chips of it continuously fell off and crashed onto the ground.

Several seconds later, the World Sapling exploded like a firework.

The entire soul space trembled before collapsing alongside it.

Its fragments merged with the shattered shell as both were forcefully drawn into the clone’s physical body.

There, everything fused into one.

The roots became the foundation of the new world, standing at the center of an endless dark void, while the fragments of the shell and soul space transformed into swirling cosmic dust.

The transformation immediately affected the clone itself.

Its aura underwent another qualitative leap, advancing directly into the Archdevil stage.

Liora’s mind stirred.

One of the concepts integrated into her Throne descended upon the clone, merging with the dark void and becoming its fundamental Law.

Then stars began to appear. Worlds were born around them as everything resonated together.

Before long, the Cosmic Sea within the clone closely resembled the one inside Liora.

Of course, there were still considerable differences.

Not only was Liora’s own Cosmic Sea far larger in size, but the stars, worlds, and even its fundamental principles all stood on a much higher level.

However, this was not because anything had gone wrong with the clone’s practice.

Rather, it was an inherent characteristic of the power system itself.

"The initial seed of the Cosmic Sea originates from me. In other words, anyone cultivating this power system can never surpass me."

Even so, Liora remained satisfied.

She could clearly sense that the clone was already far stronger than an ordinary Anchoring stage Archdevil.

Seeing this, she no longer hesitated.

She finalized the names of the final three stages.

"In the Law stage, the practitioner integrates the fundamental principle into the Cosmic Sea, laying the foundation for its future growth."

"In the Star stage, the practitioner comprehends more lesser concepts—or rather Laws—and transforms them into Stars."

"Finally comes the World stage, where they nurture the worlds born within the Cosmic Sea."

In the end, the Origin Sea Path had been set up for the time being.

World Seed stage, where the practitioner received the initial seed from Liora.

World Sapling stage, where the seed gained the ability to absorb external energy and sustain its own growth.

Finally, the Cosmos Sea stage, where the Cosmic Sea was truly born, and the practitioner had to "build" upon it.

The Law, Star, and World stages were subdivisions within the Cosmic Sea Stage, much like the different substages of an Archdevil.

As soon as Liora had that thought, the Rank column changed once again.

At the same time, Liora sensed an indescribable change taking place within herself.

It had nothing to do with strength or appearance.

Liora pondered over this feeling for several seconds.

Then, she focused on the final matter at hand.

With a wave of her hand, the clone before her exploded.

Its essence returned to Liora and made up for the lost energy as she waved her hand once more.

The Cosmic Sea within her body surged.

Countless traces of cosmic dust were plundered from within it, emerging into reality before transforming into countless World Seeds.

As she watched their numbers continue to increase, Liora’s eyes narrowed.

"In the past, my bloodline has always lacked one crucial component."

"I’ve imprinted abilities onto my descendants’ bloodline, allowing them to comprehend them naturally and make them far stronger than ordinary Devils."

"However, I’ve never imprinted the Devil Technique required to advance from a True Devil to a Greater Devil and then go beyond."

That had never been a problem in the past.

Her bloodline had only existed for a short time, and none of her descendants had reached that point.

Now, however, it had become an actual issue as the invasion of the Blood Forest Realm had allowed many of them to reach the True Devil stage.

If no Devil Technique appeared, they would forever remain stuck at this stage, besides a lucky few.

Liora had nothing to give these True Devils in the past.

But now, she looked at the World Seeds floating before her and enveloped them with her power before gently tossing them forward.

The seeds pierced through time and space. They scattered toward nearly every corner of the Blood Forest Realm.

Then, they merged into the bodies of every True Devil descendant they found, appearing into their directly into their soul space and taking the form of a World Seed.

Unbeknownst to them, their auras changed.
