At this point in time, Liora had no way of knowing about the schemes between the three Absolute Beginning Devils, much less their true goals.

Just like before, she continued her devouring journey.

Whether they were native creatures or Ancient Devils, anyone who crossed her path would perish at her hands, becoming nourishment for her growth.

Yet this time, Liora had a purpose.

She no longer wandered around the secret realm aimlessly.

If someone observed the Land of Origin from above, they would discover that she was flying in a straight line.

No matter how much her surroundings changed and how many fragmented worlds she passed through, her route remained unchanged from start to finish.

The reason was simple: Liora was following a call that came from the depths of her very being.

Although she suspected it might be a trap, she was confident in her own strength, certain that she could escape no matter what opponent she faced. At worst, she would borrow the power of the Cosmic Universe.

Of course, that was a last-resort measure. Given the Land of Origin’s chaotic nature, doing so might lead to unwanted consequences.

Either way, her journey continued for quite some time.

Only several days later, when the call in her mind had practically turned into screams, did Liora finally stop.

She knew she had arrived at her destination.

However, she didn’t rush to act.

She could sense that a battle was taking place just ahead, from the location the call was coming from.

With a flap of her wings, Liora’s surroundings shifted once again, as though she were teleporting.

This time, she entered a ruined continent.

The chaotic nature of the Land of Origin had already left the continent in terrible condition. Now, however, it had become even worse than its counterparts.

Liora saw numerous beings fighting fiercely across its surface, their clashes ruining the broken continent even further.

Native creatures. Ancient Devils.

Both races were engaged in battle.

They weren’t divided into two sides like the ones she had met before. Instead, everyone on the continent fought everyone else, making the battlefield especially chaotic.

One moment, two Ancient Devils would join forces to besiege a native creature. The next, that same creature would ally with one of the Ancient Devils to launch a sneak attack on the other Devil.

Within moments of Liora’s arrival, she had already witnessed several beings perish.

She wasn’t surprised by this. Competition in the Land of Origin was bound to be fierce, and Devils were hardly known for being allies.

What piqued her interest, however, was what could drive so many powerhouses to turn against one another.

After all, unlike her, they couldn’t devour other beings to strengthen themselves. To take action just after arriving at the Land of Origin, there was bound to be some benefit.

Thinking this, Liora stopped paying attention to their battles.

Her gaze sharpened as she focused on the very center of the battlefield.

Soon, she saw the item suspected to have sparked the fighting.

It was also the reason she had come here.

A piece of wood.

Although its material looked ordinary, it exuded an unfathomable aura that made her heart skip a beat.

The chaotic flow of time around it was forcibly pushed back, as though even the Land of Origin itself trembled before it.

Clearly, this piece of wood was a rare treasure.

Even if no one knew what obtaining it would do, its extraordinary nature alone was enough to make them greedy.

For Liora, the attraction was even greater.

Not only could she sense a call coming from it, as though this wood was extremely important to her, but she could also remember the images she had seen outside the secret realm.

For a moment, an idea flashed through her mind. She had a guess regarding the wood’s real identity.

However, she quickly suppressed her wandering mind.

"Whether my guess is right or wrong, I have to obtain this piece of wood. Even if it’s only to find out why it called me here..." Liora whispered.

The next moment, she sprang into action.

Without hesitation, she reached out with her Dragon claw, enveloped the piece of wood in her aura, and pulled it toward herself.

In an instant, the wood disappeared, flashing into her palm.

Unfortunately, Liora had no time to examine it closely and satisfy her curiosity.

Although the creatures on the continent were fighting fiercely, seemingly unconcerned with the treasure, they had all been secretly watching it, waiting for an opportunity to snatch it and flee.

The moment it disappeared, they were all alarmed.

Since Liora hadn’t bothered to hide herself, everyone quickly spotted her.

The native creatures’ eyes turned crimson, filled with resentment and greed.

Without hesitation, they let out deafening roars and charged at her.

The Ancient Devils, however, reacted differently.

At first, they were just as furious upon seeing someone daring to steal their treasure under everyone’s eyes.

But the moment they caught sight of her appearance, their pupils shrank.

"No! It’s the Dragon Devil! Run!" one of the Ancient Devils shouted.

Before he had even finished speaking, he had transformed into a stream of light and shot toward the horizon.

The other Devils reacted similarly.

Clearly, Liora’s fearsome reputation had already reached their ears. Knowing what fate awaited them if they chose to stay, they decided to escape.

Watching the native creatures charge toward her while the Ancient Devils fled, Liora sighed and put the piece of wood away.

Then, she attacked.

Her Dragon mouth opened wide, and she exhaled.

Instantly, time fragments poured from her mouth and swept toward the creatures attacking her.

Both time and space froze.

Her enemies came to an abrupt halt, their forward momentum stopping.

Before they could react, the raging flow of time engulfed them.

The time fragments that made up their bodies collided with those pouring from Liora’s mouth, causing the chaotic flow of time to become even more chaotic.

In the next instant, though, everything returned to normal.

Their forms broke apart.

Liora opened her mouth again. This time, she didn’t exhale but took a deep breath.

All the time fragments poured into her mouth, including both her own and those belonging to her enemies.

Feeling the Dragon of Time form become more complete, she was filled with satisfaction.

Regardless of her joy, she wasn’t planning to show mercy.

Moments later, her gaze shifted toward the fleeing Ancient Devils.
