Famous Among Top Surgeons in the 90s
Chapter 2466: Stirring Up Trouble
Student Wei regained his breath and started cursing: "Why is he eavesdropping on our conversation?"
Would such a clinical boss need to eavesdrop on what a few rookies are saying?
The other two students didn’t know how to answer him; they also didn’t know what the clinical boss was thinking. The students thought about it and decided to pretend they didn’t know and slipped away since the clinical boss didn’t pursue them.
In the afternoon, Doctor Cheng Yuchen brought the inpatient department’s medical records to find his superior. The sound of knocking at the office door was heard, and someone entered Cao Zhao’s office. Doctor Cheng Yuchen turned his head and saw that it appeared to be Dr. Han from the pediatric cardiac surgery department.
Dr. Han spoke to Cao Zhao across the office desk: "Dr. Mu asked me to find you, Teacher Cao."
"What does he want?" Cao Zhao didn’t even lift his head, his tone indifferent.
Doctor Cheng Yuchen was a bit worried on the side; who in the hospital didn’t know that Mu Yongxian considered Cao Zhao his number one competitive rival all along. However, Cao Zhao’s calm and serene nature never fought for titles with anyone and never regarded Mu Yongxian as a strong opponent.
"Dr. Mu heard that Teacher Cao, you have several students who might be interested in the pediatric cardiac transplant surgeries performed by Dr. Mu. So he asked me to inquire whether Teacher Cao would want to transfer these students to his group for learning. Compared to Teacher Cao, who prefers other types of surgeries, Dr. Mu performs more of these types."
"Who are you referring to?" Doctor Cheng Yuchen interjected.
"Some Guoxie students studying under Teacher Cao."
Mu Yongxian actually paid attention to Student Xie and the others. Doctor Cheng Yuchen was greatly shocked.
"When did they go to find Dr. Mu? What did they say?" Doctor Cheng Yuchen planned to find out clearly before going back to educate these foolish children.
"Yes." Dr. Han hesitated to say they were eavesdropping on the conversation of several medical students standing at the stairwell.
Cao Zhao’s lowered face seemed to emit a low laugh and said, "Dr. Mu said to transfer whom to their group?"
Cheng Yuchen turned back nervously: No way, would Cao Zhao actually send any of his "children" away?
Dr. Han grabbed onto the seemingly open opportunity and said, "Dr. Mu said, generally speaking, females are not very welcome in surgery, perhaps Teacher Cao wouldn’t like having females in his group, so why not transfer her to Dr. Mu’s group, reducing trouble for Teacher Cao."
Cao Zhao’s face remained down as always.
The surrounding air was a bit tense.
Dr. Han changed his tone: "That Student Wei is only average, he could also move to Dr. Mu’s group to lighten Teacher Cao’s burden."
Doctor Cheng Yuchen wanted to cover his face; did this person know what kind of nonsense he was saying? Both Xie Wanying and Wei Shangquan were definitely Cao Zhao’s "children" he wouldn’t part with. If this was indeed sent by Mu Yongxian, it represented just one thing: Mu Yongxian was here to cause trouble, not genuinely trying to transfer any student over for learning.
Bang.
A loud noise, like a clap of thunder.
The other two’s ears buzzed, dumbfounded. When they realized that Cao Zhao had slammed the desk, Doctor Cheng Yuchen was the first to be shocked. Since when did this superior of his ever lose his temper like this? Clearly, the other party had indeed stirred up trouble.
Across, Dr. Han finally realized he was sent by Mu Yongxian to provoke, his face turned pale, hurriedly said, "Teacher Cao, you’re busy, I’ll leave first, and not disturb your work." With that, this person spun around and shot out from the office like a rocket.
