Su Chen watched helplessly as she walked toward the other pavilion, but he couldn’t very well follow her.

Just then, the people standing outside the pavilion suddenly surged like a tide. The human tide also surged in the direction Gu Fei had gone.

At first, Su Chen didn’t think much of it, but after a moment, he understood. These men, all the men gathered here, were here for Gu Fei. It was just that, for now, they didn’t dare enter the pavilion.

Su Chen grew anxious. He strode over, stopped Gu Fei, and said in a low voice, "Miss Gu, I’m afraid we can’t leave now."

Gu Fei turned her head and was startled to realize that every single person outside the pavilion was staring at her.

Their gazes were of all kinds.

Adoration, obsession, stupefaction, desire, worship.

’This... How am I supposed to get back?’ she wondered, taken aback.

Although she could use Instant Teleportation, she couldn’t just disappear in front of everyone.

Yan’er also grew anxious. "Miss, what are we going to do?"

Gu Fei hid her face with her fan, unsure what to do, when someone in the crowd suddenly shouted, "Fairy, move your fan away!"

"Yeah, move your fan and let us have a look."

"We want to see the Fairy!"

The crowd instantly grew agitated.

Qin Ying sat in the pavilion and sneered. ’Heh, so what if you dress up so ostentatiously? What good comes from attracting so many lechers?’

Anxious, Gu Fei looked around. The colorful pavilion was open on all four sides, supported only by a few pillars. The two pavilions were connected, and behind them was a lotus pond.

Behind the pavilion was a clearing a few meters wide. No one was really over there, as the members of the Gu Family were all afraid of accidentally being pushed into the water.

Gu Fei thought for a moment, then instructed Yan’er, "Go back by yourself. Don’t worry about me. I’ll find a way to get away."

Yan’er’s face was filled with anxiety. "No, Miss, I have to stay with you. Don’t worry, I won’t hold you back."

Gu Fei frowned. "No more nonsense. Just do as I say."

Yan’er lowered her head and fell silent. Sister Dan, who had also sensed something was wrong, grabbed Yan’er. "Listen to your miss. You come with me."

She had heard from Young Master Zhou long ago that Gu Fei knew kung fu. She had even seen Gu Fei brandishing a long saber with her own eyes, so she wasn’t too worried.

Gu Fei then said to Su Chen in a low voice, "You don’t have to worry about me. I’m going to head out the back. You know my skills. I’ll be fine."

Su Chen was currently standing in the pavilion filled with women, who kept glancing at him, making him feel quite awkward. After what Gu Fei said, he felt it made sense; this was the only option for now.

He nodded. "Then, please be careful, Miss Gu." With that, he retreated to the other side.

Hiding her face, Gu Fei suddenly walked briskly toward the back of the pavilion, her steps urgent and quick.

Just then, the crowd in front of the pavilion suddenly surged. Someone shouted, "She’s going that way—"

Another person yelled, "Over here—"

In an instant, the crowd surged toward the pavilion.

The young ladies in the pavilion had never witnessed such a scene. Seeing the human tide surge toward them, they shrieked and scattered in all directions.

Gu Fei heard the screams and managed to glance back, her face paling in shock. The crowd had descended into complete chaos.

She knew she couldn’t turn back now; all she could do was run.

She no longer bothered to hide her face. Hiking up her skirt, she ran forward as fast as she could.

Soon, she had run past the confines of the colorful pavilion.

There weren’t many people here, and Gu Fei moved swiftly through the crowd.

When some of the people here saw Gu Fei running toward them, they also began to close in. The crowd grew larger and larger, and soon, Gu Fei could no longer run.
