Chapter 2831: Chapter 1209: Wrapping Dumplings for a Dish of Vinegar (Part 2)
The Dragon Oak Dream Realm itself is a natural dreamworld, interconnected with nature and the forest. Nature is professionally aligned, and every natural life can clearly feel the nourishment from the life force.
Once they enter their dreams, they naturally receive invitations from the Dragon Oak Dream Realm.
The Dragon Oak Dream Realm has already developed its own normative procedures, so Gaven and Lord Virginia need not worry.
What truly surprised Gaven and Lord Virginia was the deep expansion of the Dragon Oak Dream Realm, which began to spread underground.
Here is only one thing—the magma veins.
"It seems we’ve touched something extraordinary." Lord Virginia gazed at the endless dark red light mass, slowly writhing beneath his feet.
Gaven stood alongside, positioned over the boundless void where everything turned into a phantasmal existence of light and shadow.
Beneath their feet was a brilliantly colored tower shadow that soared into the clouds, newly transformed into the Tower of Dominion.
Whether it was the sky or surroundings, all were green, representing life force, part of the unified Dragon Oak Dream Realm.
The heavy earth-yellow represented the earth.
Wrapped deep within the earth was the dark red light mass, which represented molten lava power.
"Legend says deep within the earth there is a prison sealing numerous ancient evil beings and exotic realm monsters. It seems that the legend is not merely a myth, but has factual basis!" Gaven remarked, looking at the boundless dark red light mass below.
He could clearly sense that it wasn’t merely the fusion of flame element and earth element forming berserk molten lava element; a deep-seated evil permeated as well.
This evil was powerful and profound, harboring the desire to destroy and devour everything.
Apart from the normal creation myth, there was also a darker version.
Originally, the goddess of light and the Night Goddess Shar created the planet Toril not out of curiosity or boredom, but to counter a common enemy, a terrifying evil being born of primordial darkness, an evil a thousand times more malevolent than the Night Goddess Shar.
Planet Toril was the prison they jointly forged, with Mother Earth Shantiya as the warden overseeing these evils.
The intent was to imbue the planet with endless life and vitality to better suppress this evil, using endless faith and life force to keep him continuingly in a state of slumber.
However, this primordial evil was so powerful that even in slumber.
The heat emanating from him melted the earth, turning it into magma.
Even a slight movement of his body would cause mountains to crumble and the planet Toril to quake, triggering massive earthquakes.
His breath formed volcanoes that erupted from the underground, scorching all things.
His evil will and life force seeped from the earth, tainting the life here, filling their souls with evil and degeneration.
The Night Goddess Shar considered this a harbinger of disaster, believing these corrupted souls would eventually destroy the planet and release those terrifying ancient beings from their prison. Cold, desolate, endless darkness was the safest realm.
Perhaps the legend exaggerated, yet undeniably, somewhere deep underground lies a dormant, powerful evil, slumbering within his dream.
That dark red light mass is a fusion of scorching molten lava and his dreamscape.
The Dragon Oak Dream Realm, upon connecting, felt a massive jolt from this dream, starting to writhe rapidly.
One strange shadow after another twisted into existence.
These shadows took various forms, whether human, beast, or bird-like, but they shared one common attribute.
The shadows are the remnants of beings burned, like charred residue, composed of black ash and mist, their eyes akin to blazing embers.
Filled with endless pain, anger, and resentment, they bared their claws and roared, attempting to attack Gaven and his companions, yet the heavy earth yellow encased them, preventing any assault.
"Whether the legend is true or not, I do know that we won’t need to worry about residual soul sources in the future." Lord Virginia’s gaze upon those shadows carried undisguised excitement, akin to seeing treasures, "If I’m correct, these shadows are remnants of creatures perished in earthquakes or volcanic eruptions.
They were living prisoners within the Flame Hell, forever enduring the agony of fiery torment!
The sole problem now is how to safely guide these souls into our Dragon Oak Dream Realm..."
"The solution lies with Lord Beary. He possesses the power to manipulate molten lava and the earth, and his dream can serve as a bridge and battlefield for us to purify the evil within the earth."
Gaven wasn’t just envisioning but directly took action to connect with the Earth Bear residing in Earth City.
The Earth Bear, immersed in building Earth City, promptly responded, his voice muffled, "My lord, what do you need from me?"
"Enter your dream!"
"Enter my dream?" The Earth Bear’s response carried confusion.
He had physical prowess, but his intrinsic attributes were his weakness, and he lacked any concept of dreams.
