Seeing Sora again, Nick Wilde’s heart was filled with complicated emotions.

After returning home heartbroken the last time, he had thought that the disappointment would eventually fade.

It hadn’t.

Instead, his longing for Sora had remained stubbornly lodged in his heart.

No matter how many times he told himself to forget her, her figure continued appearing in his thoughts.

He didn’t even understand why.

He simply wanted to see her again.

How could a person change so much?

Nick Wilde couldn’t believe it.

Perhaps Sora had deliberately disguised herself that day.

Perhaps she had intentionally made herself look ordinary just to deceive him.

After all, both his Mother and Father had said that Sora was a beautiful Female.

That meant he hadn’t imagined what he had seen on the Moon God Festival.

He had really seen her.

To verify his suspicions, Nick Wilde had stayed awake for almost the entire night before rushing over from the Red Fox Tribe.

This time, he hadn’t even informed his good friend Mark.

He simply wanted to see Sora for himself again.

He wanted to determine whether the beautiful Female he had seen during the Moon God Festival and the ordinary-looking Female standing before him were truly the same person.

The moment Ace saw Nick Wilde’s decadent yet infatuated expression, he couldn’t help letting out a soft snort.

"He really is like a ghost that refuses to leave. Didn’t you run away last time? What are you back for?"

A man who judged Females entirely by their appearance actually had the nerve to come looking for Sora again.

Ace found it ridiculous.

What face did this guy have to return after rejecting her before?

Lucas had just experienced a wonderful night with Sora.

His mood had been unusually good all morning.

Then he saw Nick Wilde.

The smile in his eyes immediately disappeared.

His expression darkened.

"Why are you here again?" Lucas asked coldly. "Does the Red Fox Tribe have nothing else to do?"

What kind of Beastman traveled all the way to another Tribe early in the morning simply to look at someone else’s Female?

Was he really that bored?

Xavier narrowed his eyes.

His gaze shifted from Nick Wilde to Sora.

There was something meaningful in his expression.

When Sora met Xavier’s gaze, her thoughts immediately returned to the events of the previous night.

This stinky snake...

She quickly looked away.

Meanwhile, Ryan, Lukan, and Damien watched Sora quietly.

None of them showed much emotion.

They simply waited to see what she would do.

Sora rolled her eyes inwardly.

What reaction could she possibly have to a stranger?

As for Nick Wilde, she had originally thought that she had scared him away for good the last time.

Apparently, she had been too optimistic.

He had actually come running back.

Had he still not gotten a clear look at her face?

Sora thought about it for a moment.

Then she stepped forward.

She stopped directly in front of Nick Wilde and looked at him calmly.

"I’m doing fine. Do you need something?"

The person he had been longing to see suddenly appeared directly before him.

This time, Nick Wilde could finally see Sora clearly.

He stared at her.

Her figure was still attractive, with curves in all the right places.

It was exactly the kind of figure he remembered from the Moon God Festival.

Her face, however, wasn’t as stunning as it had been that day.

Still, it was much prettier than the second time he had seen her.

Her eyes weren’t as large as they had appeared during the festival either.

Yet they were still considerably larger than they had been the second time.

Her nose remained small and delicate.

But there was something different about her eyes today.

They were exceptionally bright.

They seemed spirited and lively, almost like stars shining in the night sky.

Nick Wilde’s disappointed heart slowly began to recover.

Still, it didn’t race the way it had when he had first seen Sora at the Moon God Festival.

He couldn’t help wondering if she had simply dressed up specially for that occasion.

That must have been the reason.

It had to be.

The Moon God Festival was an important occasion, after all.

Beastmen and Females of marriageable age generally took special care with their appearance during the festival.

They would wear their best clothes, groom their fur carefully, and make themselves look more attractive.

That was normal.

But Sora’s transformation had been too dramatic.

It was rare to see someone look so completely different simply because of clothes and grooming.

Nick Wilde couldn’t understand how she had done it.

How wonderful would it be if Sora always looked like the Female he had seen during the festival?

If she looked like that every day, he would definitely treat her very, very well.

After all, she was the Female he had fallen for at first sight.

What a pity...

Still, today wasn’t completely disappointing.

At least he now knew that Sora was still quite delicate and pretty.

Sora, on the other hand, had deliberately moved closer to Nick Wilde for one reason.

She wanted him to become completely disappointed.

She wanted him to understand that the beautiful Female he had fallen for was not someone he could simply pursue whenever he felt like it.

Unfortunately, her Beast Husbands misunderstood her intentions.

It wasn’t entirely their fault.

Sora had behaved similarly when she had first approached them.

They were experienced victims of this particular behavior.

Back then, whenever Sora wanted to capture someone’s attention, she would intentionally move closer, smile, and act as though nothing was wrong.

Her Beast Husbands had suffered through it personally.

So naturally, when they saw her approaching Nick Wilde now, they immediately became suspicious.

Xavier’s eyes narrowed.

Tighter.

And tighter.

She actually had the nerve to do this again.

It seemed that what he had done the last time hadn’t been enough.

When Sora had treated him like this in the past, he had already learned exactly what her little tricks could do.

Now she was doing it to another Beastman.

Xavier’s expression became increasingly dangerous.

Ace also felt an uncomfortable itch in his heart.

Back when Sora had first approached them, he had found her behavior extremely irritating.

He had been disgusted by the way she seemed to deliberately provoke people.

Now, seeing her repeat the same behavior with another Beastman made him even more irritated.

Weren’t six Beast Husbands enough?

Did Sora really intend to provoke someone new?

Lucas, however, had a completely different reaction.

He looked Nick Wilde up and down.

Then his gaze moved away with obvious contempt.

The Red Fox’s appearance wasn’t particularly impressive.

His fur wasn’t as beautiful as Lucas’s feathers.

His overall appearance was decent, but compared with the phoenix, he didn’t seem like much of a threat.

Lucas didn’t need to worry.

Ryan, Lukan, and Damien remained surprisingly calm.

They were more interested in seeing what Sora intended to do.

Especially Lukan and Damien.

Neither of them took their eyes off Sora.

They wanted to know what she was planning.

Nick Wilde remained silent for a moment after hearing Sora’s question.

Then, as though he had suddenly remembered something important, he looked at her and asked,

"Kaelira, do you have a sister?"

Sora’s expression froze.

"..."

For a moment, she didn’t know how to respond.

Was this Beastman serious?

She could immediately tell that his intentions were still alive.

But the problem was that those intentions weren’t directed toward the Sora standing before him.

They were directed toward the beautiful version of her that he had seen during the Moon God Festival.

Otherwise, why would he ask whether she had a sister?

Sora almost laughed.

This guy really was a shallow face-chaser.

He wanted something he couldn’t have, and now he was desperately searching for an explanation.

She shook her head inwardly.

At that moment, another thought suddenly occurred to her.

After she had finished her makeup and grooming for the Moon God Festival, her Beast Husbands hadn’t actually said much.

They had merely looked at her a few extra times.

None of them had suggested that she should dress up like that again.

None of them had insisted that she continue wearing makeup.

Could that be the effect of the attraction Value?

A possibility flashed through Sora’s mind.

She didn’t have time to investigate it now, so she quickly pushed the thought aside.

Then she looked at Nick Wilde’s hopelessly infatuated expression.

Her eyelids drooped lazily.

"How should I know?" she said. "You’ll have to ask my Mother and Father when they plan to have another Female."

Nick Wilde was stunned.

That wasn’t what he meant!

He had wanted to ask whether there was another Female who looked extremely similar to Sora during the Moon God Festival.

He still believed that the Female he had seen back then and the Sora standing before him couldn’t possibly be the same person.

No matter how good a Female was at dressing herself up, it was impossible to completely transform into two different people.

Therefore...

She must have a sister.

At least, that was what Nick Wilde thought.

The several Beastmen who had been watching the exchange with increasingly irritated expressions suddenly burst into laughter.

How could Sora be so witty?

Even if her Mother and Father really did have another Little Female, by the time that child grew up, she wouldn’t even be close to Nick Wilde’s age.

By then, who knew where Bai Meng would be?

Sora’s response was simply a unique form of mockery.

"I..."

Nick Wilde opened his mouth, clearly intending to explain.

But before he could finish, a familiar voice came from nearby.

"Oh, my brother, why are you here again?"

Mark hurried over.

Unfortunately, he arrived just in time to hear his good friend saying something so foolish.

What sister?

Hadn’t he already told Nick Wilde that he only had two sisters?

Serena.

And Kaelira.

That was it.

How had his normally intelligent friend suddenly become so foolish?

Mark looked at Nick Wilde with a complicated expression.

He had clearly been driven crazy by Sora.

Seeing that Nick Wilde was about to continue embarrassing himself, Mark covered his eyes.

He couldn’t watch anymore.

He immediately grabbed Nick Wilde and began dragging him away.

"What do you think you’re doing?" Mark scolded. "You came all the way to the Wolf Clan without even telling me. You just came here by yourself!"

"If someone in the Tribe hadn’t seen you coming this way, I wouldn’t even have known you were here."

Mark continued scolding him as he dragged him farther away.

Nick Wilde didn’t resist.

He simply fell silent.

His expression was complicated.

Behind them, Sora and the Beast Husbands watched the two disappear.

And although Nick Wilde had been dragged away, the obsession in his heart had not disappeared.

If anything...

His confusion had only deepened.

The beautiful Female he had seen during the Moon God Festival.

The Kaelira standing before him now.

How could they possibly be the same person?

There had to be an explanation.

And Nick Wilde clearly wasn’t ready to give up searching for it.
