Lucas crossed his arms over his chest and deliberately turned his head away, his handsome face filled with undisguised disdain.

"I’m not helping her. She’s disgustingly dirty."

Beside him, Ace also took several steps backward, his expression reluctant.

"If I take her back looking like this, everyone will think I abused her."

The corner of Sora’s mouth twitched.

She stared at the two Beast Husbands for a moment, speechless.

They were supposed to be powerful Beastmen who had just survived a fierce battle, yet the moment they were asked to help carry an injured Female covered in dirt and blood, they suddenly became extremely particular.

It was nothing more than helping someone stand up.

Yet these two were behaving as if they had been asked to carry a dead body through a swamp.

Since Lucas and Ace were unwilling to help, Sora could only turn her attention toward Ryan and Lukan.

She pursed her lips and was about to speak when a lazy voice suddenly came from nearby.

"Awake?"

Damien slowly lifted his eyelids and looked toward the injured Female.

"Then open your eyes properly and stop pretending to sleep."

His voice was calm, but there was an unmistakable warning hidden beneath it.

The injured Female’s body stiffened.

A moment later, Serena slowly opened her eyes.

Fear immediately flashed through them.

When she had first regained consciousness, the first thing she had heard was a cold Female voice ordering the others to capture her.

She had been terrified.

So, without daring to move, she had immediately closed her eyes again and pretended that she was still unconscious.

Unfortunately, her act had not fooled the Black Bear Beastman.

Now that she had been exposed, there was no point pretending anymore.

Seeing that she had finally opened her eyes, Lucas narrowed his gaze.

"That’s better. We don’t have to carry you ourselves anymore."

He pointed toward the ground.

"Serena, you’d better stand up on your own."

The injured Female stared at him.

She remained motionless for a long time.

Several Beastmen stood around her, all watching her closely.

Their expressions were strange.

Some looked disgusted.

Some looked suspicious.

Others seemed completely indifferent.

Only then did the Female finally seem to realize that they were talking to her.

Her expression became increasingly confused.

"Serena?"

She slowly repeated the name.

"Are you calling me?"

Her fingers trembled as she touched her bruised temple.

"Is my name... Serena?"

The instant those words left her mouth, Sora, Lucas, Xavier, Lukan, and the other Beast Husbands exchanged glances.

None of them understood what she was trying to accomplish.

Was this another trick?

Was she pretending to have lost her memory?

Ace frowned deeply.

He stepped forward and looked at her with suspicion.

"Don’t play dumb with me."

His voice hardened.

"Serena, don’t think that pretending to have amnesia will make us let you go."

The Female shook her head.

Her eyes were filled with genuine bewilderment.

"Play dumb?"

She stared at Ace as though he were a complete stranger.

"Who are you?"

Her hand moved toward her head again.

The moment she touched it, pain shot through her skull.

She winced.

Her thoughts felt like a completely blank space.

There was nothing.

No memories.

No familiar faces.

No understanding of where she was or why so many people were staring at her with hatred.

She slowly looked around.

Every face before her was unfamiliar.

Yet the expressions on those faces were not.

They hated her.

She could feel it.

Serena carefully shifted her body.

The moment she moved, intense pain spread through her limbs.

She sucked in a breath and immediately stopped.

Seeing her reaction, Lucas rubbed his chin.

His expression became uncertain.

"Could she really have fallen hard enough to lose her memory?"

Xavier narrowed his purple eyes.

He carefully scrutinized Serena from head to toe.

"You forgot Henry that quickly?"

His voice was cold.

"Then his death truly wasn’t worth it."

Serena’s brows knitted together.

"Henry?"

She shook her head.

"Who is Henry?"

There was not even the slightest recognition in her eyes.

The name meant nothing to her.

Xavier stared at her for a long time.

His purple eyes were sharp, like those of a predator silently observing prey.

He wanted to find even the smallest flaw in her reaction.

A flicker of fear.

A forced expression.

A moment of hesitation.

Anything that would prove she was pretending.

But there was nothing.

After observing her for a while longer, Xavier finally withdrew his gaze.

He turned toward Sora.

"It looks like she really has amnesia."

He paused.

"I used my Probing Eye, but I didn’t find anything abnormal."

Sora’s brows immediately furrowed.

She had to admit that this was an extremely convenient time for Serena to lose her memories.

Almost too convenient.

If this was an act, then Su Nuannuan’s performance was frighteningly convincing.

But if it was genuine...

Sora looked at her silently.

Lukan also carefully examined Serena for a long time.

He found no obvious sign of deception.

Finally, he turned toward Sora.

"If you still think something is wrong with her, we can take her back and observe her closely."

Before Sora could answer, Ace spoke coldly.

"Observe her?"

His expression was indifferent.

"What’s there to observe?"

He glanced at Serena.

"Since she has lost her memory, I think it would be better to finish her off right here."

His voice carried no hesitation.

"It would avenge our dead Wolf Tribe comrades and save us the trouble of keeping someone alive who needs to be watched."

Sora remained silent.

She wasn’t a saint.

She knew exactly what Serena had done.

This Female had plotted against her and the Wolf Tribe repeatedly.

She had concealed the location of the Salt Well Cave and had played a major role in bringing danger to the Wolf Tribe.

Her heart was poisonous.

Originally, Sora had wanted to take Serena back alive.

There were questions she wanted answered.

Had she revealed the location of the Salt Well Cave to other Tribes?

Who else knew about the Wolf Tribe’s salt?

How much information had she already leaked?

But now, if Serena truly had amnesia, none of those questions could be answered.

In that case, keeping her alive seemed pointless.

Sora silently studied her.

She wanted to see what would happen if Serena believed she was about to die.

Would her memories suddenly return?

Would she panic?

Would she beg for mercy?

Would she finally reveal that she had been pretending?

But nothing happened.

Serena simply sat there in confusion.

She looked frightened, but not cunning.

There was no sudden flash of recognition.

No change in expression.

Nothing.

Sora’s eyes gradually hardened.

Whether Serena was genuinely suffering from amnesia or was simply an extraordinary actress, there was only one way to find out.

She nodded toward Ace.

"Then let’s end her here."

Ace immediately raised his palm.

A powerful surge of Beast Energy gathered around his hand.
