Fat and Ugly Villainess Wins Back Her Five Beast Husband

Chapter 266: Dotting On Pregnant Female

  • Next Chapter

Sora’s belly grew larger with every passing day. Over the past few days, the change had become particularly dramatic. Her stomach was so round and swollen that she felt like a ball, as though the slightest slope might send her rolling all the way down.

Her entire body had become noticeably plumper, and the sensation wasn’t entirely unfamiliar. When she had first transmigrated into this Beast World, the original owner’s body had also been rather chubby.

However, Sora was now even fuller than the original owner had been back then.

At first, she had been somewhat uncomfortable with the changes. She had even worried that her Beast Husbands might look at her differently or secretly dislike her appearance.

But after thinking about it for a while, she gradually came to her senses.

Why should she care so much about what they thought?

And what right did these Beast Husbands have to look down on her because of her changing figure?

Wasn’t her current condition largely the result of their own actions?

If they couldn’t accept the consequences of what they had done, then what was the point of staying together in the first place?

Besides, the system had been slacking off for a long time. It hadn’t assigned her any tasks or forced her to deal with troublesome missions.

With several little cubs on the way, Sora felt that she had nothing to fear.

Even if her Beast Husbands suddenly decided that they no longer liked her appearance, they wouldn’t dare go too far.

And if they really did?

She would teach them a memorable lesson in what it meant to keep the children and ditch the husbands!

She would take her beautiful, adorable little cubs and travel around the world, enjoying a carefree life as a happy and beautiful Mother.

The thought was so pleasant that Sora almost smiled to herself.

In fact, she had already received a letter from her good friend Tisha a few days earlier.

Tisha had invited her to visit the Ice Snow Territory.

Of course, calling it a letter was somewhat generous.

Since written communication in this world was still inconvenient for many Beastmen, Tisha had sent her a collection of drawings instead. The pictures came in different sizes, and Sora had to study them carefully to figure out what her friend wanted to say.

Fortunately, she had known Tisha long enough to understand the general meaning.

The message was simple.

Tisha promised that if Sora visited the Ice Snow Territory, she would treat her to the best food and drinks available. She would make certain that Sora enjoyed herself far more than Tisha ’s own older brother, the Young Master of the Snow Territory.

Judging from the drawings, Tisha seemed particularly determined to prove that her hospitality was superior to anything her brother could offer.

Sora couldn’t help laughing when she understood the message.

It had been such a long time, yet Tisha still remembered her.

And, as always, she was still dragging Sora into her complaints about her brother.

Although Sora couldn’t completely relate to Tisha ’s grievances, she did have some understanding of what it felt like to have an irritating brother.

After all, Mark wasn’t exactly the most competent brother in the world, either.

Whenever Sora thought about him, she couldn’t help feeling a little disdainful.

Strangely enough, however, Mark had been treating her rather well recently.

He frequently went out hunting and returned with pigeons, wild chickens, and other prey. Every time he brought something back, he claimed it was meant to nourish her body during pregnancy.

His face was still as sour as ever, and his words remained unpleasant.

He could bring her a delicious meal and still find a way to complain while handing it over.

But Sora had gradually grown accustomed to his personality.

As long as he continued bringing her food, she could tolerate his attitude.

Besides, Sora had more important things to do than argue with her brother.

She wanted to reply to Tisha ’s letter.

Unfortunately, she didn’t have proper writing materials readily available, so she had to improvise.

She took a feather that had been plucked from a goose and began preparing a simple writing tool.

Using tannins extracted from plants and iron salts, she mixed the ingredients in a ceramic jar to produce a basic form of ink.

It wasn’t particularly sophisticated, but it was enough for her purpose.

After dipping the goose feather into the ink, she carefully began drawing on a suitable surface.

Since Tisha had communicated with her through pictures, Sora decided to respond in the same manner.

She drew several little stick figures, making them as clear as possible.

The figures represented herself, her growing belly, and the little cubs she was carrying.

She wanted Tisha to understand that she was pregnant and that she couldn’t travel to the Ice Snow Territory immediately.

After looking at her swollen belly, Sora considered the matter for a moment.

Perhaps she could explain that she would visit once she had recovered from giving birth.

With that in mind, she picked up the feather again and prepared to continue her letter.

But just as she was about to write, a familiar figure approached.

Lukan walked over with his usual gentle smile.

Before Sora could react, he reached out and took the quill from her hand.

"You’re going to give birth in a few days," he said softly. "Don’t strain your eyes over something like this. Whatever you want to tell Tisha , I’ll write it for you."

Sora stared at him.

"..."

She suddenly felt as though her plan to escape had become much more difficult.

What she wanted to do was sneak away, leave these Beast Husbands behind, and live her own happy life.

Of course, she couldn’t say that aloud.

Not when Lukan was looking at her with those gentle eyes, so tender that they seemed capable of melting into water.

Under that gaze, Sora found herself unable to utter a single word about abandoning him.

Fine.

It seemed that Lukan didn’t dislike her fuller figure at all.

In fact, he appeared to be treating her even more attentively than before.

Whenever she moved even a single step, he would immediately notice.

If she reached for something, he would take it for her.

If she wanted to stand up, he would help her.

If she looked around as though searching for something, he would immediately ask what she needed.

Sometimes, Sora felt that he treated her like a little child who couldn’t take care of herself.

She wasn’t that helpless!

Although her belly had grown considerably, she could still move around on her own.

There was no need for someone to supervise every little thing she did.

Sora suppressed her thoughts and prepared to tell Lukan that she could write the letter herself.

After all, Tisha was a former rival of his, and the two of them had their own complicated history.

Having Lukan write a letter to Tisha on her behalf felt rather inappropriate.

Before she could explain, however, another set of footsteps sounded outside.

They were heavier and more deliberate than Lukan’s.

Xavier entered carrying a large wooden basin filled with steaming water.

The moment he saw Lukan standing so close to Sora, his eyes narrowed slightly.

He said nothing at first.

Instead, he walked forward, placed the basin on the floor, and deliberately squeezed himself between the two of them.

"Lukan, move aside."

His tone was commanding.

"It’s time for Kaelira to soak her feet."

Having announced his decision, Xavier knelt in front of Sora.

He carefully removed the straw sandals from her feet and prepared to place them in the warm water.

Sora looked down at him, feeling increasingly awkward.

It wasn’t the first time Xavier had washed her feet.

With her belly this large, bending over had indeed become inconvenient. She couldn’t easily reach her feet without putting pressure on her stomach, so allowing someone else to help was reasonable.

The problem was the way Xavier did it.

He treated her feet as though they were rare pieces of exquisite jade.

He lifted them carefully, washed them with extraordinary patience, and sometimes even kissed them.

Sora couldn’t understand it.

Who would kiss someone’s feet so reverently?

Wasn’t he worried about the smell?

Her feet had become swollen during the later stages of pregnancy. They weren’t exactly delicate or elegant anymore.

When she glanced down at them, she couldn’t help thinking that they looked more like elephant legs than the beautiful feet Xavier kept praising.

Yet he could look at them with complete sincerity and claim that her legs were as beautiful as moonlight.

Sora was speechless.

Was this man’s eyesight all right?

Or had his affection for her reached the point where he could find beauty in absolutely anything?

She couldn’t decide which possibility was more frightening.

At this rate, there was no way she could concentrate on writing her letter.

Once Xavier had finished washing her feet, he carefully dried them before allowing her to settle back comfortably.

Sora thought she could finally continue her work.

Unfortunately, her troubles were far from over.

Before she could reach for the quill, Ace arrived carrying a large pile of wild fruits.
