Chapter 985 Slaying the Demon Saint

Du Yao wasted no time, turned around, and fled. Although she didn’t have the Character Technique of Motion, she mastered a remarkable movement technique martial skill. At this moment, taking advantage of the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s excitement, she quickly distanced herself from him.

“You can’t escape from my grasp!”

Seeing Du Yao fleeing, the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s eyes shone with confidence, feeling in control.

At this moment, he had put away his killing intent because Du Yao was more valuable alive than dead.

What’s more, Du Yao held the Sun Holy Stone and the Eternal Blue Gold in her hands, which were heaven’s best gifts to him, their value not even inferior to that of a broken Emperor’s Armament.

Swish!

The Night Wolf Demon Saint pursued with all his might, the massive wolf shadow flying over the Red Moon City, its terrifying brutal aura making countless people tremble with fear.

At this time, besides the Night Wolf Demon Saint, a few others followed around, wanting to take advantage, including some strong experts of the Saint Realm.

Meanwhile, Du Yao remained unfazed, following Su Han’s instructions, escaping southward.

Soon, Du Yao fled out of Red Moon City, heading south all the way.

“The south is my Hell’s territory, how foolish of you!”

Seeing Du Yao’s escape direction, the Night Wolf Demon Saint laughed even more heartily, pursuing with a cat-and-mouse mindset.

In his view, with Du Yao’s strength, she absolutely couldn’t escape today.

“Time Slow!”

The Night Wolf Demon Saint used the power of time, trying to affect Du Yao’s speed so he could catch up quickly.

As a Saint, his greatest advantage was mastering the power of time, something the Supreme Realm couldn’t compare to.

However, before the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s time power could affect Du Yao, she disappeared into thin air, leaving him puzzled and confused.

“It seems over these ten years, you’ve truly come into your own, even possessing treasures that interfere with time power!”

The Night Wolf Demon Saint thought it was some special treasure, but the truth was Su Han performing Time Devouring, directly swallowing the time power.

Without the influence of the time power, although Du Yao’s speed couldn’t match the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s, she could still escape farther.

At this moment, the Night Wolf Demon Saint and Du Yao were chasing and fleeing, soon leaving Red Moon City far behind.

As they chased and fled, others couldn’t keep up, and in the end, except for Su Han slipping underground, no one could match the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s pace.

However, no matter how fiercely Du Yao ran for her life, the gap in realm couldn’t be bridged, and the distance between them continued to shrink. At this rate, it wouldn’t be long before Du Yao was caught.

“Intermediate Grade Divine Power: Wolf Howls at the Moon!”

The Night Wolf Demon Saint performed his Divine Power Technique, letting out a terrifying wolf howl. The solidified sound waves surged like a tide, attacking Du Yao, shaking the very space.

Du Yao expanded her Domain, performed the Three Disasters Technique, but their strength difference was considerable. Hit by the wolf howl sound waves, she staggered and almost fell.

The Night Wolf Demon Saint’s strength was similar to Black Impermanence, but he was even more ruthless, attacking while pursuing, causing Du Yao to retreat step by step.

Bang!

Finally, Du Yao couldn’t hold on, was struck down by a wolf claw from the Night Wolf Demon Saint, kicking up a thick cloud of dust.

“Haha, let’s see where you run to now!”

The Night Wolf Demon Saint laughed triumphantly, quickly pursuing in the direction where Du Yao fell, wanting to capture her alive and gain everything.

However, at this moment, a strong sense of crisis surged from the bottom of his heart, making his hair stand on end, as if stared at by the Grim Reaper.

The Night Wolf Demon Saint didn’t know the source of this crisis, but countless life-and-death battles had instinctively kicked in.

“Berserk Transformation!”

The Night Wolf Demon Saint activated his Demon Blood, his eyes turning crimson, a violent aura bursting from his body like a volcanic eruption, disturbing the space around him.

The Night Wolf Demon Saint’s body rapidly expanded, transforming into a ten-meter giant in the blink of an eye, becoming stronger, with sharper wolf claws and fangs, while the blood-red crescent between his brows emitted an eerie crimson glow.

At this moment, the aura of the Night Wolf Demon Saint surged tremendously, comparable to that of a Sage Realm Fifth Layer expert.

“One Sword Breaks Myriad Spells!”

At this moment, a jet-black Sword Qi suddenly shot from behind, so sharp that before it landed, the Night Wolf Demon Saint felt his back splitting open.

Moreover, a dreadful Slaughter Sword Intent made the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s Dao Heart crack, as if he was looking at a mountain of corpses and sea of blood, himself a convict awaiting execution.

A deep sense of powerlessness rose within the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s heart, but he didn’t want to die, so he opened his Domain, demon qi rolling, fully defending.

Pshh!

Unfortunately, the Slaughter Sword Qi was too strong, directly slicing through his Domain, piercing through his tough hide, finally stabbing into his body.

The Sword Qi rampaged inside his body; though the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s physical body was strong, it couldn’t withstand the Sword Qi’s erosion. His internal organs shattered, meridians ruptured.

The Night Wolf Demon Saint could clearly feel his life force slipping away, nearing death under this Sword Qi.

Yet he used his last strength to look back, wanting to see who attacked him.

He was the lord of Red Moon City, a Saint Realm Third Layer expert; how could he be slain with one sword?

The Night Wolf Demon Saint looked back, seeing Su Han, but even more puzzled as he had never met nor had any association with him.

“Who are you?”

The Night Wolf Demon Saint asked in confusion, but Su Han remained silent, merely holding the Sword of Slaughter and striking again.

Slice!

This time, the Night Wolf Demon Saint breathed his last. Although Su Han was only Saint Realm Fourth Layer, his combat power was comparable to Saint Realm Eighth or Ninth Layer, making it not difficult to kill the Night Wolf Demon Saint by surprise.

Whiz!

At that moment, the blood-red crescent on the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s brow suddenly lit up, and a blood-red wolf shadow flew out, the soul of the Night Wolf Demon Saint.

“How dare you kill me; I’ll perish with you!”

The Night Wolf Demon Saint knew he only had a soul left and couldn’t escape. Moreover, with his ferocity intact, he completely abandoned hope of survival, charging at Su Han’s brow.

The Night Wolf Demon Saint’s bloodline was unique; even with a destroyed body, his soul still possessed terrible power. The blood-red wolf shadow entered Su Han’s brow, rushing into his sea of consciousness.

Of course, this was because Su Han deliberately left the door open, otherwise the Night Wolf Demon Saint couldn’t enter his sea of consciousness.

“Dragon Slaying Divine Spear!”

Su Han willed, summoning the Dragon Slaying Divine Spear from the center of his sea of consciousness.

Having devoured a piece of Crimson Phoenix Gold and a piece of Eternal Blue Gold, Su Han tried to activate the Dragon Slaying Divine Spear.

Whiz!

This time, the Dragon Slaying Divine Spear didn’t remain silent, transforming into a lance ray, directly piercing the blood-red wolf shadow, shattering the Night Wolf Demon Saint’s soul.

Thus, the Night Wolf Demon Saint died completely!
