Chapter 2490: Haven’t Been This Happy in So Long

Late into the night, a group of people were still energetically partying.

Jasmine Yale’s favorite thing to do was to drink and watch them play, listen to them sing.

Outside, the night was deep, but inside the private room, no one was resting.

"CEO Caddel, do you often come to places like this?"

"They invite me when they’re entertaining, and I’ll come if I see fit." Will Caddel didn’t hide anything from Jasmine, "It mainly depends on the clients."

"I get it." Jasmine understood, "CEO Caddel, are you tired?"

"You want to sleep? If you want to sleep, I’ll take you home."

Jasmine shook her head, "I don’t mean that. What I mean is, you deal with so much during the day, and you still hang out with them at night, aren’t you tired?"

"I can make up for it at home tomorrow during the day."

"Oh, that’s right, not fair." Jasmine pouted.

How could she forget, he was the vice president and didn’t need to go to the office on time.

"Not fair? If you’re tired, let me know, and I’ll give you a day off." Will chuckled, he thought when Jasmine acted childish, she was really childish.

"Though it is getting late. I feel like going home."

"It is late. Girls should go to bed early." Will glanced at his watch, "It’s already past three in the morning, very late."

"CEO Caddel, it’s not good to leave early. I better stay and play with everyone, plus I’m really happy tonight. I haven’t been this happy in ages." Of course, if not counting certain unpleasant things.

"Haven’t been this happy in ages?" Will seemed to catch a keyword, "Why, weren’t you happy before?"

"No, I was happy before too, but it’s been a long time since I played with so many people like today."

"There are plenty of company events, you’ll have more chances."

"Really? I’m looking forward to it."

"You can look forward to it."

Jasmine’s face was filled with excitement, she had drunk quite a bit at the KTV, her eyes now hazy with intoxication.

The atmosphere in the private room gave her a dreamlike feeling, like she was in a dream.

A few men were playing cards, engrossed in their game.

Manager Quinto played for a while, then stood up and walked over to Will Caddel: "CEO Caddel, do you want to play cards? My luck’s off today, lost quite a bit. Maybe you could win it back for me?"

The other men started to cheer, "That’s not fair, if CEO Caddel plays, how can we win?"

Jasmine laughed, "Is CEO Caddel very good at cards?"

"Only newbies like you ask such silly questions. Our CEO Caddel is great at everything." Others chimed in teasingly.

Will didn’t put on any airs. He looked at Jasmine, "Do you play cards?"

"Not much."

"Interested in playing together?"

Jasmine nodded, "Sure."

"Come on then." Will stood up and walked from the sofa to the card table.

A few Little Princesses at the KTV were singing for entertainment in front of the screen, while the others on the sofa drank beer and played dice.

Will had Jasmine sit down, while he stood by teaching her how to play.

Jasmine hadn’t played cards for a long time, and was quite rusty. Luckily, with Will by her side guiding her, she quickly got the hang of it.

Will leaned over, carefully watching the cards in her hand, sometimes guiding her plays, other times letting her play on her own.

When he leaned over, his warm breath brushed against her neck, making Jasmine’s hand holding the cards a bit uneasy.

But Will seemed unfazed, remaining patient all the while.
