Fated love: the unwanted bride

Chapter 2515: Jasmine Yale Pinned Against the Door!

I heard that the James Group invested more than ten billion in that project. If it’s successful, the return rate will be extremely high.

For such a large project, the James Group naturally doesn’t trust anyone else to do it, so Sylvan Cheney is in charge. Kieran Janus isn’t as proficient as Sylvan Cheney in financial operations, so Kieran has to entrust the entire project to Sylvan.

Sylvan Cheney has long become a member of the James family and a very important one at that. Kieran naturally trusts him, especially since Erin Janus is now pregnant with Sylvan Cheney’s child.

Everything is going smoothly and without a hitch.

A UT lady waved her hand in front of Jasmine Yale: "Hi, what are you looking at? A handsome guy?"

Jasmine Yale retracted her gaze and shook her head, "No handsome guy."

"But when you stepped out, I did see a handsome guy, an Eastern man, on par with CEO Caddel. Those features, that aura, so handsome." The lady licked her lips, a lustful gleam in her eyes, "Taller than CEO Caddel, and the figure’s the thing, even through a shirt, you can tell it’s perfectly proportional."

"Really? As handsome as that?"

"Yes, you missed out, didn’t see him. He left before you got back, no clue if he’ll return."

Jasmine Yale wasn’t particularly interested and continued sipping her wine.

But the UT lady wouldn’t stop chattering, "I haven’t seen such a stunner for a long time. Maybe Eastern men naturally have a charm that attracts me."

"Want to marry an Eastern guy?"

"Totally, I’m tired of Westerners."

"You could pick one among the guests here. There are quite a few Eastern men," Jasmine Yale teased.

"Not interested." The lady shrugged, casually glancing around the venue.

Jasmine Yale thought it was fine. There are plenty of good-looking men.

But as Kade Yuvan once said, out of ten handsome and wealthy men, nine are jerks, and one is gay.

Jasmine Yale glanced at the time; it was eleven. The party was still lively with no signs of ending.

Jasmine Yale had drunk a little too much; she rubbed her forehead and stood up, heading to the lounge.

The lounge was like a suite. After messaging Will Caddel, she walked down the hallway and used a key card to open a room.

The hallway lighting was very dim.

Jasmine Yale’s steps were unsteady, swaying a bit, her vision blurry, so it took her a while to get the door open.

"Beep," finally, the door made a sound.

She sighed in relief, steadied herself against the wall, and pushed the door open.

Just as she stepped onto the carpet to kick off her high heels, suddenly, a pair of big hands grabbed the door from behind.

Jasmine Yale hadn’t managed to insert the key card yet, and with the room in darkness, the man slammed the door shut and pinned Jasmine against it!

"Who are you?" Jasmine Yale’s back hit the door painfully.

In the dark, she tried to see the face of the intruder, but it was pitch black, utterly invisible.

The man’s large hand locked her wrist, pressing his whole body against her, pinning the delicate Jasmine beneath him.

The strong smell of alcohol, heavy breathing, and a faint scent of cologne mixed together, wafting right to Jasmine Yale’s nose.

"Don’t touch me, bastard, don’t touch me, who are you..." Jasmine struggled, pushing against his chest forcefully.

The man’s grip tightened, clamping down on her wrist sharply, pressing hard against her: "You don’t recognize me?"

A deep, thick voice came low from above her head.

Jasmine Yale’s heart skipped a beat.
