Fated love: the unwanted bride

Chapter 2570: Is CEO Caddel Willing to Sacrifice Himself?

  • Next Chapter

Will Caddel held her wrist: "Follow me, don’t get lost, there are too many people here."

"Oh oh, okay." Jasmine Yale is directionally challenged. When there are too many people, she gets confused.

They hadn’t walked far before coming across an embroidered ball performance. Lanterns lit up on a high ancient-style building, where a young lady in a red wedding dress stood delicately upstairs "seeking" her ideal partner, aiming to toss the embroidered ball into the crowd.

Jasmine Yale looked up curiously and asked Will Caddel, "What’s inside the embroidered ball? Can I catch one?"

"Seems like it’s a small gift. If you want one, I can help you grab one."

"It’s not just about grabbing one, the young lady has to throw it to you." Jasmine Yale laughed, "I really want one, is CEO Caddel willing to sacrifice himself a bit?"

Will Caddel smirked, looking down at Jasmine Yale under the light: "Willing, indeed."

Without waiting for Jasmine Yale to react or respond, he looked up at the building and raised his arm high.

Will Caddel stood out among the average-looking passersby, following the crowd and posing to catch the embroidered ball!

Jasmine Yale also jumped up and down; luckily, she wisely wore flat shoes today, otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to jump.

The young lady upstairs laughed cheerfully, scanning the crowd, her eyes landed on Will Caddel.

Well, this man was too eye-catching, making it difficult for people not to notice him.

Sure enough, the embroidered ball was thrown toward Will Caddel’s direction!

Others rushed over, trying to grab it!

Fortunately, Will Caddel was physically fit and quick to react, reaching out to catch the ball.

The crowd let out a noise, and Jasmine Yale clapped delightedly: "CEO Caddel, you’re awesome, really awesome."

"Not bad, here you go." Will Caddel handed it to her without even being out of breath, "I used to be on the school volleyball team, so catching an embroidered ball is nothing."

Jasmine Yale shook the embroidered ball: "What do you think is inside?"

"Probably just some things to amuse kids, candies, ragdolls, or maybe even nothing." Will Caddel shrugged, holding her wrist, "It’s crowded here, let’s go to the shop to open it, we should eat first."

"Okay."

They arrived at the booked sauerkraut fish restaurant, Will Caddel gave the car keys to the waiter, asking him to retrieve Jasmine Yale’s cake and lilies from the parking lot.

Jasmine Yale held the embroidered ball, studying it closely like a child.

"It’s the Seven Sisters Festival today, so logically, there should be some special little things inside." Jasmine Yale shook it, producing a soft sound from inside.

"Open it and see." Will Caddel took a sip of water.

Jasmine Yale untied the bow on the embroidered ball, and the bright red ball fell open.

Inside were two big red heart knots.

Jasmine Yale smiled awkwardly: "These gifts are best hung on the wall at home; they’ll look festive and beautiful. But such gifts for the Seven Sisters Festival feel quite apt."

Will Caddel stared at the heart knots in her hand for a long time, his gaze lingering for at least tens of seconds.

After a while, he extended his hand: "No merit but there is hard work. Two of them, won’t consider giving me one?"

"I thought CEO Caddel wouldn’t be interested in such cheap little things..." Jasmine Yale took one from the two identical heart knots and handed it to him, "Here, this one’s for you; it’ll look nice in the car too."

Will Caddel took it.

He looked closely at the heart knot in his hand, his eyes reflecting deep, complex light, the vibrant red striking in his pupils, merging into a small dot.
