Fated love: the unwanted bride
Chapter 2574: The Spoiled Princess Syndrome
The shadow, neither too far nor too close, happened to block the sunlight in front of them.
Jasmine Yale’s hand, holding the fork, paused for a few seconds. She looked up at the newcomer.
Upon clearly seeing the approaching person, a subtle glint flashed across her eyes. Her gaze flickered lightly but quickly calmed down.
Will Caddel, who was drinking tea, also put down his teacup and leaned back on the sofa, looking up.
Jasmine Yale and Will Caddel, neither of them spoke.
"Sorry, this seat has always been mine when I come here." Erin Janus, with a protruding belly, light makeup, and a cold, proud expression, said.
She was wearing a loose light green dress, with an ivory shawl draped over it, carrying a new Dior pearl bag, and her long hair fell over her shoulders.
Her voice wasn’t loud enough to cause a stir but loud enough for Jasmine Yale and Will Caddel to hear.
Will Caddel glanced out the window, then at Erin Janus, "Oh? Is Miss Janus’s name on it? Waiter, come here."
A blond-haired, blue-eyed man came over and bowed, "Sir, hello, what can I do for you?"
"This lady says this seat is hers, is there such a rule?" Will Caddel asked indifferently.
"Sir, this is indeed Miss Janus’s favorite seat, but Miss Janus did not make a reservation this morning, so we didn’t save it for her," the waiter replied honestly.
"Oh, so it has nothing to do with her, right?" Will Caddel said.
Erin Janus’s expression turned colder as she glanced at the waiter, "I’m friends with your boss. I’ve told him many times that I like this seat and that whenever I come, this should be my seat. So, shouldn’t it be given up now?"
The waiter apologized, "Miss Janus, sorry, the guests haven’t finished dining yet. How about I arrange another table for you, or you could wait a little while until these two finish their meal?"
"Do you know what your boss told me? He said, as long as I come, I can sit here anytime, anywhere. Anytime, anywhere, understand? If not, call your boss over and have him teach you." Erin Janus’s face was full of arrogance, her gaze especially haughty.
"Miss Janus... please don’t make it hard for me," the waiter looked troubled and at a loss.
"Am I making it hard for you, or are you making it hard for me? Isn’t this restaurant owned by your boss? You’re not even listening to your boss, am I making it hard for you? Clearly, it’s your own doing." Erin Janus sneered, "Also, I’m here with a big belly, and you’re making me stand. Am I making it hard for you?"
"I’m sorry, Miss Janus, please come with me and have a seat," the waiter said very troubled.
"No, I want to sit here; this place has a good view and a great spot," Erin Janus refused to back down.
She looked down at Jasmine Yale and Will Caddel, her lips curved upward, but there was no intention of retreating.
"What if I insist on not letting you?" Will Caddel finally spoke, giving Erin Janus a cold glance.
"Mr. Caddel, you are indeed lacking in gentlemanly manners. By all accounts, this should be my seat." Erin Janus sneered.
"Do you know how to write the word ’should’? Don’t bring your pampered princess syndrome into public places!" Will Caddel lowered his voice, angry.
Jasmine Yale sipped her fruit tea and said indifferently, "Erin Janus, don’t you understand the principle of first come, first served?"
"Is it first come, first served, or are you taking over someone’s nest?" Erin Janus retorted, raising her eyebrows slightly.
