Chapter 2913: I’ve Been Thinking About It All Day

Li Mingxi took the things he bought and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

While she was brushing her teeth, Xiao Lang came in.

Xiao Lang smiled and said, "I’m just going to wash my hands."

Li Mingxi moved aside, Xiao Lang quickly washed his hands, and then left.

After Li Mingxi was done, she really wanted to take a shower; after playing all day, she was all sweaty.

But the bathroom door was broken, and she didn’t have any clean clothes to change into, so even if she wanted to, she couldn’t.

But she could wipe her body a bit.

Li Mingxi walked out and saw Xiao Lang pouring himself a glass of water.

Li Mingxi hesitated and asked, "Is there any late-night snack service here?"

Xiao Lang’s eyes brightened: "Are you hungry?"

Li Mingxi nodded: "Mm, a little. I want to go down and cook something to eat."

"What would you like to eat?"

"Noodles are fine, wontons would be good, porridge is also okay."

It was rare for Li Mingxi to express a desire to eat, so naturally, Xiao Lang wanted to handle it personally.

"You wait here, I’ll go make something for you."

Li Mingxi pretended to be courteous and said, "Let the chef here do it, it’s fine."

"No worries, I’m a bit hungry too, I’ll go do it." said Xiao Lang energetically as he left.

Li Mingxi immediately took a stool into the bathroom, blocked the door, then took off her t-shirt and started wiping her body.

She was worried Xiao Lang would return, so her movements were quick, and by the time she was done and emerged refreshed, Xiao Lang had not yet returned.

Li Mingxi went ahead and washed her hair.

When she finished washing her hair, Xiao Lang came back.

He was holding a bowl of dumplings and placed it on the small table: "Come eat while it’s hot."

Li Mingxi keenly noticed a red patch on the back of his hand.

She frowned, pulling his hand over: "What happened to your hand?"

Seeing her so concerned, Xiao Lang smiled and said, "It’s nothing, just a slight burn from hot water. It’ll be fine shortly."

"How could you be so careless!"

Li Mingxi pulled him into the bathroom and squeezed toothpaste onto the back of his hand.

"Apply this, it won’t hurt anymore. It’s good the burn isn’t serious."

Suddenly, Xiao Lang lifted his other hand and touched her face: "Mingxi, are you worried about me?"

Li Mingxi paused, eventually flicking his hand away, then swatted away the hand on her cheek.

"You got hurt cooking for me, as a doctor, of course, I have to be concerned about you." she said stubbornly.

Xiao Lang’s eyes darkened, and he suddenly took a step closer to her.

Li Mingxi retreated a step, watching him warily: "What are you doing?!"

Xiao Lang said nothing, only continued to approach her, his silent demeanor causing an unsettling feeling.

Li Mingxi soon found herself against the wall, with nowhere to retreat.

"What do you want!" she demanded with false bravado.

Xiao Lang raised his arm, bracing it on either side of her, his head slightly leaning in.

Staring into his dark eyes, Li Mingxi’s heart raced.

Xiao Lang’s lips parted slightly: "I want to kiss you..."

"You..."

"I’ve been wanting to all day." With that, he bowed his head and kissed her lips directly.

As his cool lips pressed against hers, an electric shock coursed through Li Mingxi, leaving her unable to move.

Xiao Lang’s tongue entered her mouth, and it wasn’t until then that Li Mingxi snapped back to attention, struggling.

Xiao Lang held her body close, leaving no gap between them.

He didn’t seem to notice her struggling at all.

All he knew was that he wanted to kiss her...

Li Mingxi finally managed to push him back a bit: "Enough, don’t go too far!"

"Shh, careful, Xinxin might hear us."

With that, he kissed her again.

Li Mingxi was left breathless from his kisses, eventually losing all strength.
