Chapter 2951: Made Breakfast for the Whole Family

Xiao Lang chuckled lowly, "This is 3."

"Still not drunk, huh. Since you aren’t drunk, stand up and go upstairs to rest."

"No, I am drunk. I can’t walk, you need to help me."

Li Mingxi smiled a little, but still got up to support him. Xiao Lang was very well-behaved when drunk; he quietly accompanied Li Mingxi upstairs and didn’t make any fuss.

Once inside the room, Li Mingxi helped him lie down, took off his shoes, and then went to the bathroom to get some water to wipe his face.

"Did I wake you?" Xiao Lang asked her instead.

"I asked if your stomach is acting up!"

"...Yeah," Xiao Lang admitted sheepishly.

Li Mingxi silently cursed herself for being careless, having forgotten that his stomach was sensitive and couldn’t handle too much alcohol.

"Wait here!"

Li Mingxi put on slippers, opened the door and went downstairs to find stomach medicine.

The specific stomach medicine for Xiao Lang wasn’t available at home, so Li Mingxi found something with similar effects. After taking the medicine, Xiao Lang felt much better.

"Sorry for disturbing your sleep," Xiao Lang said apologetically, leaning against the headboard.

Li Mingxi shot him a look, "If I get sick and have to disturb you, then I’ll apologize to you, alright?"

Xiao Lang smiled.

For Li Mingxi to say that, it meant she considered him as family, so he didn’t need to be formal with her.

"Feeling better now?" Li Mingxi asked.

"A lot better."

"I’ll schedule a stomach checkup for you another day. This needs proper care, or it’ll trouble you every time."

Xiao Lang nodded with a smile, "Alright. Go to sleep now, I’m fine."

Then Li Mingxi lay down, and Xiao Lang lay down as well, hugging her as they both fell asleep.

Probably due to the middle-of-the-night disturbance, it was already bright outside by the time Li Mingxi was still asleep.

However, Xiao Lang had already woken up early.

He quietly got out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen.

When Li Mingxi woke up, she found herself alone in bed, not knowing where Xiao Lang went.

After freshening up, she threw on a coat and headed downstairs, only then discovering that Xiao Lang had gotten up early to make breakfast for the whole family.

After spending some time together, Xiao Lang had figured out everyone’s tastes and favorite foods in the household.

He prepared a carefully crafted breakfast for everyone, all of which were their favorite dishes.

Grandma Li and the others were very happy, thoroughly pleased with Xiao Lang.

"You could have let the maid prepare breakfast. Why bother making it yourself? You should rest more," Grandma Li said, though inwardly satisfied with Xiao Lang’s actions.

Xiao Lang laughed, "Grandma, I own a restaurant, and my hobby is cooking. You haven’t even tried my skills yet. Breakfast isn’t complicated to make, and since I had time, I made it."

Li Mingchen gobbled up the delicious breakfast and mumbled, "Brother-in-law, you love making food, and my sister is a foodie. You two are a perfect match."
