"Let me do it. You don’t need to learn; I’ll cook for you," Xiao Lang said, pulling her away and skillfully continuing to stir-fry.

Li Mingxi stood by his side, watching: "I want to learn too."

"Why learn? I don’t want you staying in the kitchen cooking. I’m enough to do it."

Understanding his kind intentions, Li Mingxi remained insistent.

"Learning doesn’t mean cooking every day; sometimes, I can cook for you too."

Xiao Lang felt very happy hearing this. "You can learn if you want, but don’t push yourself too hard. Whatever you can learn is enough."

"No problem."

When the dish was done, Xiao Lang turned off the heat and plated the dish: "What else do we need to cook?"

"Nothing more, everything’s ready. Let’s go eat." Li Mingxi carried the dish to the dining room, while Xiao Lang grabbed bowls and chopsticks, serving a bowl of rice for each of them.

Li Mingxi had prepared a sumptuous meal.

There was greens and tofu soup, braised fish, mushroom chicken, marinated seaweed salad, and egg custard.

This was her first time cooking a meal for Xiao Lang.

Li Mingxi was very enthusiastic, and Xiao Lang was deeply touched.

Li Mingxi picked up her chopsticks and placed some braised fish into his bowl: "Try it and tell me how it tastes."
