Chapter 366: Chapter 366: New Ideology

Ye Ming arrived at the study area. It was massive, like a large school, and he could even see young people practicing in Mecha on a training field.

As it seemed to be the first time they had seen Captain Xing bring a stranger, the students eyed Ye Ming with curiosity.

Ye Ming paid them no mind. Instead, he followed the sound of voices to a classroom and peered through the window. The students inside were almost all little children, around four or five years old.

Right then, they were chanting along with a projector on the wall: "I am proud to be a male. Heaven and earth are vast, but males are the greatest. Females can only serve us. The world will revolve around males."

Listening to this, Ye Ming was secretly horrified. He looked at the textbooks in the children’s hands; they were completely different from the ones he remembered from his own schooling. They were a brand-new curriculum.

Just then, a child asked curiously, "Teacher, what’s a female?"

The teacher’s lips curved into a smile. In a gentle tone, he praised, "What a good question, little one. Females *are* things. They are merely appendages of us males, objects through which we display our masculine prowess. Nothing more."

A child of that age probably couldn’t grasp the full meaning. He just knew he had been praised by the teacher, so he nodded with a semblance of understanding and tilted his chin up proudly. "Okay, thank you, Teacher. I get it now. Females are things."

"Excellent!"

The teacher praised him again, and the other children followed suit, chanting, "Females are things, females are things..."

Listening from outside the window, Ye Ming’s brows knitted tightly. He whipped his head around to stare at Captain Xing, his voice tight with suppressed fury. "Is this what your schools here teach?"

"Females have always been the ones to heal our spiritual power collapses and bear our children! As males, it is our proper responsibility to care for and serve them. How, here, have they been reduced to mere appendages, to objects?"

"They are independent and powerful in their own right! Males and females have never been adversaries. Their balance, like yin and yang, is the very foundation of a harmonious society. Males need females. They have never been appendages."

Captain Xing held out his hands, regarding Ye Ming as one might an unruly child. "Prince, it has clearly always been us males who have sacrificed more. You see, we’re the ones killing the Insect Clan. If we didn’t kill them, we wouldn’t be affected by their toxins, which would render the females’ healing useless. Oh, and as for bearing children... well, that’s their only truly useful function. So, if they aren’t appendages, what are they?"

"Yeah, yeah! Uncle Xing is right!"

The children chimed in, then looked at Ye Ming, shaking their heads and sighing like little adults. "Big brother, you’re so behind the times. This is the new ideology."

"You’re a fossil!"

"Hee hee, ha ha!"

The children mocked Ye Ming, all grins and giggles, completely dismissive of what he had just said.

Ye Ming knew. The people here had already been successfully brainwashed. ’The Insect Clan didn’t appear because of females. Even if there were no females, they would still have to kill the Insect Clan to survive. Yet they’ve twisted it to lay the blame on them.’

He couldn’t help but think of the teenagers practicing in their Mecha outside. He realized the school had been founded with the express purpose of slowly changing males’ perception of females, and then gradually replacing the males on the outside who willingly cared for them.

This, it seemed, was his father’s true goal.

Just as he had founded the Recovery Alliance, he wanted this world to exist only for males. To gradually eliminate females’ space for survival and turn them into nothing but appendages.

A chill ran through Ye Ming. ’This is absurd!’

The father he had known for more than thirty years, the father who had married two different wives, was fundamentally this kind of person? All his past kindness and benevolence had been nothing but a false front.

Ye Ming never imagined something like this could happen to him.

Beside him, Captain Xing reached through the window to pat a little boy’s head, his face filled with a gratified smile. He paid no mind whatsoever to the reeling Ye Ming.

After a long moment, he asked with a grin, "Prince, shall we go inspect the training?"

Ye Ming suppressed the turmoil in his mind. His gaze shifted to land on the captain, the sharp, imposing dignity of a prince emerging in his expression. The oppressive might of a 3S Beastman’s spiritual power pulsed around them, eager to be unleashed. For a rare moment, Captain Xing felt the kind of pressure he usually only experienced in the Monarch’s presence.

’Say what you will, but the Eldest Prince’s talent with spiritual power is genuinely high.’

’The Monarch himself never even awakened a Talent Skill, but the Eldest Prince did when he was just a teenager.’

’In a head-on fight, I could never kill him. I’ll have to find another way.’

Captain Xing silently clenched his fists. The pressure radiating from Ye Ming was making it hard to breathe, and he lowered his head in a slightly sycophantic gesture.

After a minute or two, Ye Ming finally retracted his gaze. His voice was ice. "Yes. Continue."

"Yes, Prince."

Captain Xing’s attitude became unconsciously more deferential, losing its earlier casual, dismissive air. He continued to lead Ye Ming around the island base, surreptitiously sending a few messages from a chip while walking behind him. Only after they finished the tour did they head to the final training ground.

Ye Ming’s guess had been correct. This island was where the Monarch cultivated a new generation of male talent. The males here were all very young—the children of females from the underground base, with a few orphans adopted from destitute planets or slums mixed in.

It was as if the Monarch fancied himself a creator god. He used females for procreation, then raised the children separately, intending to cultivate a military force completely loyal to him and to the new ideology of male supremacy. In the future, they would slowly infiltrate every sector of the Empire, expanding the ranks of the Recovery Alliance.

And so, as Ye Ming looked out, he saw Beastman of all different ages on the training ground. Every single one was a male. In fact, from the moment he had set foot on the island, he hadn’t seen a single female.

This place was cut off from the rest of the world. With no Insect Clan around, they faced no risk of spiritual power collapse. From a certain perspective, they truly had no need for females.

On the training ground, the oldest male appeared to be in his twenties. He had very pale skin and a frail, scholarly look, bearing a slight resemblance to the man unmasked by Ye Yan’s wife not long ago.

Ye Ming suspected those masked young men had probably come from here as well.

His appearance, however, was clearly a disguise. Ye Ming could sense that his Spiritual Power Level was S-level, and his reflexes and agility were exceptional.

Ye Ming walked over, calm and composed. "Your training is impressive," he said. "How old are you?"

The male shot him a glance. When he saw that Ye Ming’s eyes were the same color as his master’s, a flash of revulsion appeared in his own. "What are you? How dare you have the same eye color as the Master?"

"I really want to gouge those eyes out."

Captain Xing cleared his throat and feigned a stern reprimand. "Watch your mouth. This is the Master’s son, the Prince."

After hearing this, the male scanned Ye Ming up and down again, his gaze lingering for a moment on the ring on his finger. "Heh. To think a male as wise and powerful as the Master could produce a son who would willingly debase himself by marrying a female."
