Find a Troubled Girl after leaving the Guild
Chapter 1007 - 497: Voice of Sable
Chapter 1007: Chapter 497: Voice of Sable
Inanna reclined on the dimly lit bedside, her flowing gown like a veil unable to conceal a body of divine abundance, as a faint sour scent wafted through the room.
"You’re becoming more and more like a mortal," said Li Ang.
The Demon Dragon closed its eyes and leaned down, the warmth of its cheeks and scorching breath conveyed, as the somewhat rough dragon tongue effortlessly absorbed everything.
Upon leaving the room, the high-altitude wind filtered through the Weapon God’s cabin, cooling him as it evaporated his sweat.
The silver-grey surroundings also quelled much of Li Ang’s burning emotions.
The Demon’s Hand slowly receded back into the Dimensional Rift, an extension of his body. Inanna was just getting accustomed to countering in a low-defense state when the addition of a third hand plunged her back into the demon claws.
Thanks to the Spirit Casting Art of Body Manifestation, Li Ang could potentially have a fourth or fifth hand, a testament that the Earth Goddess’s trial was far from over.
"Ah."
His gaze shifted, spotting the Emerald Winged Cat perched on a shelf, though the vase that should have been there was nowhere in sight.
The cat’s eyes were wide open, jaws parted as if it had forgotten how to close it.
Ordinary cats sometimes gaped as if in shock, but they were merely adjusting to unfamiliar scents. With the Jade Cat’s dragon essence, its expression of surprise was genuine.
"You, you really are a thorough demon..." Annette said as Li Ang passed by.
"I don’t deny my demonization, but it’s under my control now," replied Li Ang.
Ever since embracing this power and the demonic nature within, he found himself increasingly capricious and insatiable.
Meeting his gaze, the Jade Cat seemed to be struck by lightning, its already fluffy tail puffing up into a ball.
"Mew, meow, this... such mannerisms, it’s just like..."
Annette didn’t finish, unwilling to mention the person she thought of.
"So, you were just peeping, weren’t you?"
"No meow!"
The cat vanished in a swift breeze.
Li Ang shook his head; these Dragon Gods...
He went to the ship’s exclusive dining room; everything was as before. He still recalled the first time the Star Flower Travel Corps visited, when Elaphia generously shared her rare ingredients, almost all devoured by ALulu.
What is life like in the City of Magic Academy, Xiaoniu?
Li Ang attempted to imagine, but quickly abandoned the thought. It wasn’t that he couldn’t weave scenarios in his mind, but given their circumstances, they would always surpass his expectations, sparing himself the effort and preparing for the impending surprises instead.
Expecting to find some ingredients to casually prepare something, he didn’t anticipate meeting someone else in the late-night dining room—a kitchen attendant.
In the Makena Island Country, the Order Knights of the Weapon God had all disembarked as ’Elaphia’ announced she would return to her clan lands, leaving only Li Ang and his group aboard with her followers.
This attendant bowed to Li Ang and politely asked about his supper needs.
As he awaited his meal, Li Ang found it odd. With Elaphia’s disciplined nature, she likely didn’t require dinner, so why was an attendant waiting at the exclusive dining room late at night?
After finishing his meal and returning to his room, Diao had somehow taken a seat on his bed.
The young girl sat cross-legged, palms facing upwards, bathed in moonlight, with a faint spirit aura encircling her.
She was cultivating, but its effectiveness was significantly less compared to the Land of Ten Thousand Spirits.
She was waiting too, Diao opened her fawn-like moist eyes, capturing Li Ang’s silhouette.
"Great Witch. It’s hard for me to enter a cultivation state in the outside world," Diao’s tone was soft and ethereal.
"Indeed, here there’s a barrier to Magic Power and the Spirit’s dimension, yet all significant events occur here, so you must adapt."
"Hence, I intend to first practice the Transformation Technique, for example, something like a serpent. Please guide me..."
Diao flexed her supple body. Dressed in a white silken shroud radiating life’s hue from honey-toned skin adorned with fine chain-linked loops, unnecessary for sensing the primal beast within.
In the moonlight, Diao stretched and twisted her body, her pained whimpers akin to a venomous viper’s hiss, while her stance mirrored a Snake King’s defensive threat.
Yet, for a human, mere imitation holds another layer distinct from an animal’s essence.
As Li Ang stepped closer, Diao’s shivers, laced with pain, grew intense, the anticipation seemingly rising.
"Let me see how you’ve progressed."
Fingertips felt muscle and exertion, easing the tremor, body warmth crystallizing affection into bead-like sweat adorning her serpent form.
Tugging at the chains, a coy serpent coiled and danced continuously.
The next morning at breakfast, Farlonio no longer in Elaphia attire, using her own face reluctantly spoke.
"Mr. Li Ang, we might have to proceed directly to the Weapon Race’s territory this time."
"Hmm? Was that not the original plan?"
"Initially, as you weren’t allowed inside the clan."
Farlonio explained that a portion of the Weapon Race was very xenophobic, and aside from special occasions, no other race was permitted within their lands.
