This was Yue Hanzheng’s first time seeing Qiao Suluo looking so shy and bashful.

The mountain breeze drifted by, gently lifting her sleeves and tousling her hair. As her white, gauzy clothes fluttered in the wind, her ethereal beauty seemed to transcend the mortal world. Her cheeks were flushed, radiating an alluring yet pure charm. She exuded an effortless, captivating temptation. Her stunning radiance was simply breathtaking.

Yue Hanzheng gazed at her, his breathing involuntarily softening. At this moment, the crescent moon mark between his eyebrows faintly flickered. It was a mark that only appeared when his heart was stirred with affection.

Hearing no response from Yue Hanzheng, Qiao Suluo turned to look at him. Her eyes lit up when she noticed the crescent moon mark on his forehead. “What is that?”

She blinked, her gaze fixed on his forehead as she spoke.

Yue Hanzheng reached up to touch it. “This is my family’s crest mark.”

Qiao Suluo stared at it with shining eyes. It reminded her of her favorite anime character from her previous life, Killing Life Pill. The aura and the mark were indeed quite similar.

Yue Hanzheng lowered his head to meet Qiao Suluo’s bright, joyful eyes and smiled gently. With that smile, his usual cold and aloof demeanor dissipated significantly, instantly replaced by a hint of warmth. A hazy, tender light filled the depths of his eyes.

“Do you like this mark?” Yue Hanzheng asked tentatively.

Qiao Suluo nodded honestly. “Yes, it’s very pretty.”

“After I was injured in the past, all my abilities were crippled, and this mark seemed to vanish,” Yue Hanzheng explained. “Ever since my wife cured my body, it has reappeared.

“With this moon mark, I can draw upon lunar essence to cultivate, making my cultivation speed much faster.

“During a full moon, the lunar essence is at its peak. Sometimes, I involuntarily revert to my true form to automatically absorb the essence and enhance my strength.”

Hearing Yue Hanzheng mention his true form, Qiao Suluo’s curiosity peaked. While speaking, Yue Hanzheng’s attention had remained entirely on her. Seeing the curious look in her eyes, he could roughly guess what she was thinking.

“Do… do you want to see what my true form looks like?”

Yue Hanzheng felt incredibly nervous as he asked the question. He faintly anticipated her answer. He wondered, “If she likes seeing my true form, does that mean she doesn’t reject me? Or could it be that she actually has feelings for me?”

Previously, Yue Hanzheng hadn’t dared to entertain such thoughts. After all, he had said some truly awful things to her in the past. Every time he recalled those words, guilt tormented his heart. Now, he only wanted to offer her his sincere heart and treat her better and better. However, Bai Qianluo and the others already took meticulous care of her every day, all vying for the chance to dote on her. All he could do was silently perform small acts of service. Now that he finally had the chance to be alone with her, he desperately wanted to seize the opportunity.

At this moment, Yue Hanzheng’s eyes shone like moonlight, bearing a dazzling brilliance that stirred the soul.

Qiao Suluo’s eyes lit up at his question. “Can I?”

“Of course.”

With that, Yue Hanzheng transformed into a Dog Night Beastman right in front of Qiao Suluo under the moonlight. It was a majestic presence noble enough to make the heavens and earth hold their breath. An aloof, otherworldly aura swirled around his body.

His true form was entirely snow-white. The fur covering his body looked as if it were woven from crushed fresh snow. Every single hair seemed steeped in lunar essence, emitting a soft yet undeniable pearlescent glow in the dark night. It was as though the surrounding darkness had been softened by this pure whiteness. His physique was slender and agile. He exuded both a raw sense of power and an extraordinary, ethereal elegance. The contours of his head looked as though they had been carved from jade. When he lowered his head to look at her, his eyes were like pools of melted moonlight—clear, yet carrying a calm and quiet majesty. He was utterly noble and dazzling.

Qiao Suluo was completely mesmerized. She hadn’t expected Yue Hanzheng’s true form to be so breathtaking. The pure white fur covering his body was so fine and clean, seemingly veiled in moonlight, that she couldn’t resist the urge to reach out and touch it. She was an absolute fanatic for all things fluffy, and she had zero resistance against such a delicate and beautiful beast.

Yue Hanzheng had been closely observing Qiao Suluo’s expression. Seeing her shining eyes, he roughly understood her thoughts and couldn’t help but ask softly, “Wife, do you like it?”

“Yes, I love it. I had no idea your true form was so beautiful.” It was practically tailor-made to her aesthetic tastes.

Yue Hanzheng stepped toward Qiao Suluo, closing the distance between them, and lowered his head. “Does my wife want to pet me?”

Qiao Suluo blinked and asked, “May I?”

“Of course you may. I belong entirely to my wife; you may do whatever you wish.

“It is an honor to have my fur stroked by my wife.”

Yue Hanzheng was full of anticipation—anticipating her affection, her closeness, and her touch. Hearing Yue Hanzheng say this, Qiao Suluo hesitated no longer. She reached out and gently stroked his fur. The moment her hand made contact, she realized just how incredibly soft and luxurious it felt.

“Wow, your fur is so silky.” It was impeccably clean and smooth, making it impossible for her to pull her hands away.

Qiao Suluo immersed herself in this bliss. She now had five Beast Husbands. Three of them were completely hairless. Only Tushan Feishang had comfortable fox fur, but most of the time, he wouldn’t sit still long enough for her to pet him. Often, right in the middle of petting him, his tail would wrap around her, entangling her until he exhausted her to sleep. Furthermore, Tushan Feishang had returned to the Qingqiu Clan, and she had no idea how he was doing now.

Now, she was finally able to pet some beast fur to her heart’s content. Qiao Suluo immersed herself in her own joy, having no idea what her touch meant to Yue Hanzheng.

At that moment, the blood in Yue Hanzheng’s veins felt as though it had been ignited by fire. He could distinctly feel her fingers running through his fur, and an uncontrollable surge of desire blossomed in his heart. The emotions he had suppressed inside seemed ready to burst forth.

Unknowingly, Yue Hanzheng’s moon-like eyes took on a crimson hue. His gaze looked as if he wanted to devour Qiao Suluo whole. Yue Hanzheng felt his self-control slipping away. He tentatively nudged her with his head. When he found that she didn’t resist, he gently ran his beastly tongue across her cheek and neck.

“That tickles…” Qiao Suluo’s neck was quite sensitive. She reached out to hug his head while trying to dodge him, her ticklishness making her burst into laughter.

A moment later, Yue Hanzheng shifted back into his human form, his lips landing squarely against hers. That cold, jade-like scent instantly enveloped Qiao Suluo.

Yue Hanzheng pulled back slightly and asked in a soft voice, “May Hanzheng serve his wife tonight?

“Hanzheng wants to be his wife’s true Beast Husband.”

All of this happened somewhat suddenly, yet it also felt entirely natural. When Yue Hanzheng asked her to come out tonight, she had actually prepared herself a little for this possibility. She had clearly seen all of Yue Hanzheng’s silent sacrifices, his attentiveness, and his kindness toward her recently. Besides, faced with such peerless beauty, she found herself incapable of saying anything else.

“Are you truly not leaving?”

“No, I don’t want to leave. Even if my wife rejects me tonight, I will never leave my wife’s side.” This was his unwavering stance.

Qiao Suluo met his eyes. Her heart skipped a few beats, fluttering with emotion. She took the initiative to kiss the corner of his lips and answered with a single word. “Okay.”
