Chapter 593: Emergency Call, Divine Anomaly

"Stay alive," he said, breathing heavily.

After saying those words, he turned around and stared into the void. His eyes pierced through the dimensions until he located his fellow guardian.

With a slight nod, a portal opened before him. He then took a heavy step forward and entered the portal.

Somewhere in the universe, chaos and tranquility coexisted. Energy flowed in all directions, chaotic yet stable, a phenomenon difficult for ordinary beings to comprehend.

However, upon closer inspection, something strange could be found within that seemingly stable chaos. The energy that had once moved freely in every direction had now become completely still. Its immense power was still radiating outward, but it no longer moved.

At first, only a small portion of the void had frozen. Slowly, the phenomenon continued to spread, like fire sweeping across a vast savanna.

The universe, along with all the energy within it, continued to shine with a magnificent brilliance. Yet now, everything had become frozen and restrained, as if it had lost the power to move.

What was causing this?

Somewhere within a still-living region of the void, an enormous golden light, far larger than the sun, moved rapidly without any apparent direction.

Every area of the void that the golden light passed through immediately froze. The once-vibrant energy gradually dimmed before becoming completely motionless.

Far away from the golden light, the void suddenly trembled. Circular ripples spread through space, and a figure emerged from within them—the Golden Warrior.

His golden armor radiated a dazzling golden brilliance, forcing the surrounding void energy to retreat, as if it did not dare approach him.

His eyes locked onto the golden light that was causing the void to freeze.

"How terrifying..." he said, his voice trembling slightly.

Even with his current strength, he could only push aside the void energy around him. Yet that golden light was already capable of freezing almost the entire surrounding region of the void.

"To witness the Supreme Law with my own eyes... What an honor," he said, breathing heavily.

His golden eyes attempted to peer into the golden light, but he could not see through it. His comprehension was simply not enough to look any deeper.

"Timefall!" he shouted.

In an instant, golden energy erupted from his body, shaking the surrounding void.

The Golden Warrior then waved his hand, forming a circle with his fingertips.

A golden bubble appeared behind him, followed by another, and then another. Soon, thousands of them appeared, then millions, covering the space behind him like countless droplets of water.

"Expand!" he shouted again.

The tiny bubbles immediately began expanding at an astonishing speed. They grew larger and larger, first reaching the size of moons, then continuing to expand until they were as large as Earth.

As they expanded, ribbons of temporal energy appeared around the bubbles. Time runes began reinforcing them, releasing a powerful energy that caused the surrounding void to tremble violently.

CRACKLE...

WHIRR...

Black lightning began striking the area around the Golden Warrior. Yet the bubbles were so powerful that they did not dim in the slightest under the black lightning.

The Golden Warrior’s eyes locked onto the golden light that was freezing the void. He then raised his index finger and drew a seal in the air.

"Destroy..." he said lightly.

The moment he finished speaking, the bubbles behind him shot forward. They raced ahead at billions of kilometers per second, heading toward the golden light like a rain of meteors.

Boom...

Boom...

Every time a bubble reached the area around the golden light, a massive explosion erupted. The void shattered, yet the golden light did not move even an inch.

One explosion followed another. A tiny crack could be seen for a brief moment, but it quickly repaired itself.

"Not enough," he muttered.

His body then shot forward, chasing after the golden light. Even as he moved, the countless bubbles continued raining down on the golden light without pause. They appeared around it, expanded to the size of Earth, and then shot forward, exploding against the golden light.

As he continued chasing the golden light, a small ripple suddenly opened beside the Golden Warrior. Another figure emerged from within it—another Golden Warrior.

"How is it? Any response?" asked the Golden Warrior surrounded by the Time Bubbles.

"Yes. Everyone has responded and is already on their way here," his companion replied, his eyes fixed on the golden light.

"Crazy... Even your Time Bubbles can’t stop that?" his companion asked, his eyes filled with disbelief.

"Yeah... Of course not. This is a god’s attack..." the Golden Warrior replied.

His companion swallowed hard. He might not have been guarding this place as long as the Golden Warrior, but with his current strength, he could confidently say that nothing had ever made him feel worried throughout his billions of years of existence.

Yet now, hearing the word god reminded him of a feeling he had long forgotten—the feeling of fear, the feeling of being small and powerless.

"Impossible," he muttered, unwilling to believe it.

Then he shot forward at even greater speed. The golden armor covering his body suddenly changed, transforming him into a massive dragon-like figure.

His body expanded millions of times, growing until it was even larger than the golden light itself.

Rawr...

The roar of the Golden Dragon shook the surrounding space. The energy radiating from its body was so powerful that it caused the already chaotic void to tremble violently. Even the Golden Warrior surrounded by the Time Bubbles couldn’t help but marvel at it.

"What terrifying bloodline talent. If he is given enough time, he might even be able to break through that boundary," he said, a faint glimmer of hope appearing in his eyes.

He watched as the Golden Dragon spread its enormous wings and flapped them with tremendous force. Waves of energy surged from its wings like tsunamis sweeping across the void. Each wave slammed into the golden light, causing violent explosions against its protective layer.

Rawr...

"Still not enough," the Golden Warrior said calmly.

Then he saw the Golden Dragon open its massive jaws wide. Slowly, black energy began gathering inside its mouth, spinning like a black hole.

When the energy had grown as large as the sun, the dragon unleashed it.

The black sphere shot forward at incredible speed, and in the next instant, the two spheres of energy collided.

BOOM...

"Dimensional Barrier..."

The Golden Warrior immediately formed an orange barrier around himself, shielding his body from the impact of the explosion.

The void trembled violently.

The resulting explosion tore apart the surrounding void energy, leaving the entire area shrouded in darkness.

However, the golden light slowly began radiating its brilliance once again. Its speed soon returned to normal, continuing forward and freezing the surrounding void just as before.

"Rawrrr..."

Watching from behind the orange barrier, the Golden Warrior saw the dragon move at incredible speed, rushing ahead of the golden light that continued freezing everything in its path.

Then he saw the dragon open its massive jaws, apparently intending to swallow the golden light whole.

"Damn it... Are you really going to swallow it?" The Golden Warrior’s pupils shrank.

He immediately shattered the barrier and shot toward the dragon at full speed.

He then spread out his hands.

At four points surrounding the golden light, towering purple pillars suddenly appeared, stretching endlessly upward into the void.

"Dimensional Lock."

"Seal!"

The moment he finished drawing the rune with his index finger, the golden light was sealed from all four sides by the Dimensional Pillars. The power of the Time Law contained within the pillars slightly slowed the movement of the golden light.

The Golden Warrior continued maintaining the Time Law within the pillars, keeping the golden light slowed down. He tried to enter the golden light himself, but doing so proved extremely difficult.

"I hope this works," he muttered, watching as the golden light within the Dimensional Pillars slowly entered the Golden Dragon’s mouth.

Time seemed to stop as the Golden Dragon closed its jaws.

Silence...

The Golden Dragon remained motionless.

Nothing happened.

"Did it work?" the Golden Warrior asked in disbelief. He could no longer sense any energy coming from the golden light.

Sure enough, the Golden Dragon’s body, which had previously been filled with immense energy, suddenly erupted with an even greater force.

BOOM...

The gigantic Golden Dragon vanished.

Then, the golden light appeared once again, shooting forward and continuing into the void.

"Impossible..." the Golden Warrior said heavily. His pupils shrank as he could no longer sense any trace of his companion’s life force.

He immediately shot toward the place where the dragon had disappeared, searching through every dimension.

But there was nothing.

At the same time, far away in a cosmos filled with life, a violent tremor suddenly shook the entire region.

Every living creature within the cosmos felt an inexplicable unease and instinctively looked toward the sky.

The sky, which was normally filled with the vibrant colors of life, suddenly turned dark.

Then, violent tremors shook the entire cosmos.

Countless bolts of lightning rained down across the region, causing the entire cosmos to become increasingly unstable.

Somewhere in this boundless universe, a futuristic city stood tall, bustling with life.

Buildings reaching a thousand floors towered over the city, while roads stretching dozens of meters wide ran between them. Flying vehicles filled the sky, giving anyone who arrived here a glimpse of the most advanced technology of a high-level civilization.

At the center of the city was a massive area surrounded by enormous walls. Hundreds of security pillars stood within it, while soldiers patrolled the area twenty-four hours a day, protecting a small house located at the center.

Inside that small house, in the dining room, a small family was having dinner together.

Each of them calmly enjoyed their meal, chatting casually as they ate.

Then, the man sitting at the end of the table suddenly stopped.

A blue holographic screen appeared before him, displaying a red warning.

His eyes fell upon the incoming message, and he slowly took a deep breath.

"Darling... I’m going," he said to his wife, his voice trembling. He then looked at his children for a moment before suddenly disappearing from his seat.

His wife froze.

She stared blankly at her husband’s empty chair before tears began streaming down her face.

Her children were confused at first, but soon, they began crying as well.

The same scene was not limited to a single place.

Far across the universe, countless people who received the same emergency summons did not dare refuse.

Not because they were being forced to go, but because they had no other choice.
