Chapter 1472: Chapter 1486: Laughing Until My Stomach Hurts

"Then what’s up with your lips? Didn’t you say it was from spicy food?"

The one sentence almost made An Ran spit out her drink. Seeing Zheng Kai’s innocent eyes and the same curious look from Feng Hui Ning and the others, An Ran decided it was safer to keep a low profile. She forced down her laughter and widened her big, black-grape eyes to look curiously at Xiao Xue as well.

Other people were just curious about what exactly Xiao Xue had eaten, while An Ran was curious how Xiao Xue was going to answer this hell-level question from Zheng Kai.

But she still underestimated Xiao Xue’s straightforwardness. Xiao Xue reached out and slapped Zheng Kai’s palm. "Damn, you’re still a virgin, aren’t you? You’ve never kissed anyone, have you?"

That one line made Zheng Kai blush scarlet.

Feng Hui Ning also lowered her head, and Xiao Xiao seemed to think of something. She reached up to touch her own lips, but feeling An Ran’s gaze on her, she hurriedly put her hand down again.

An Ran curled her lips at her mischievously. She still remembered Xiao Xiao’s reaction that time in the Imperial City when Lin Junyang kissed her in public.

This silly girl finally held out until Lin Junyang figured things out.

"The guy on stage is my boyfriend, Dongfang Ming, the lead singer of Bursting Fire Band. The one behind him is the drummer, the one on the left is the bassist, and the one on the right is the keyboardist. Oh, and he’s also the band’s guitarist."

Xiao Xue was enthusiastically introducing them to the group. After she finished, she stood up, cupped her hands around her mouth, and shouted up at the stage, "Brother Ming!" Worried he might not see her, she kept waving both hands wildly after calling out.

The man on stage seemed to hear her voice. He lifted his head, his bewitching eyes like a predator hunting in the night—deep and dangerous—and then, when he saw Xiao Xue, they softened into a streak of tenderness.

The crowd below instantly exploded. With the sea of people, the dim lights, and the loud noise, no one noticed Xiao Xue’s shout, nor did they know who the man on stage was looking at.

They only felt that the look in his eyes was sexy as hell, and every woman present wanted to drown in that gaze.

"Wow, Xiao Xue, your boyfriend is ridiculously handsome," Feng Hui Ning exclaimed.

"No wonder Xiao Xue is glowing every day—turns out she’s being nourished by a hottie," Xiao Xiao teased.

"You two..." Xiao Xue pointed at them, pretending to be angry, then gave a wicked grin. "Don’t just talk about me. Want me to introduce someone to you? That bassist is still fresh meat, you know."

"Nope. Too skinny. Totally doesn’t fit the image of the male god in my heart," Feng Hui Ning was the first to veto.

"Too short. Also doesn’t fit the male god image I have," Xiao Xiao followed up.

An Ran watched them, laughing so hard her stomach hurt.

Just then Xiao Xue turned her head. "Then what about you, An Ran? What’s your male god like in your mind?"

An Ran was stunned; she hadn’t expected the topic to suddenly shift to her. The image of a male god, huh? In her mind appeared Mu Xingfeng—tall, tough, in full military uniform, with that high-cold, ascetic vibe.

Thinking about how this ascetic male god now turned into a shameless rogue the second he saw her, the smile at the corner of her eyes deepened a little.

Hearing Xiao Xue’s question, Zheng Kai put down his glass and looked over at An Ran, like he was waiting for her answer.

He saw An Ran press her lips together, even the fists at her sides tightening slightly.

"Me? I like the high-cold, ascetic type," An Ran replied.

Even though Xiao Xue said that bassist was fresh meat, just looking at those peach-blossom eyes that could practically spark electricity and the dark circles beneath them, you could tell there was no way he was the high-cold, ascetic type.

"You guys are really boring," Xiao Xiao scolded playfully, then turned her gaze back to the stage.
