Chapter 1584: Chapter 1599: Definitely a Fool

Fortunately, as soon as he spoke, Xiao Xiao let go of his hand and even pretended to massage it, her eyes incredibly bright.

"It hurts, doesn’t it?"

"Duh," with such force, how could it not hurt?

I really don’t know what this fool is thinking, I really don’t know what I like about her.

"If it hurts, then it’s real. It means I’m not dreaming," Xiao Xiao mumbled softly, rubbing his hand and shrinking her neck mischievously.

Lin Junyang suddenly realized something.

This fool, indeed a fool, does she really think she’s been dreaming all this time?

Just because I was a little nice to her, she feels everything isn’t real?

"Xiao Xiao!"

"Hmm?"

Then, he pulled her into his arms again and asked with a smile, "Got silly? Or still feel like you’re dreaming?"

Xiao Xiao shook her head, left his embrace, sat up straight, and took a long breath.

Although the situation caught her off guard, she was really sure she wasn’t dreaming.

But why is he like this? She asked him while in Nan’an what their relationship was, and he really didn’t answer that question.

Xiao Xiao felt she needed to clarify this issue, as it would define whether their behavior would be seen as a legitimate deep emotion or something disgraceful.

"Lin Junyang."

"Hmm," Lin Junyang turned to look at her, her little face still flushed, and her enchanting eyes were filled with an unprecedented determination.

He couldn’t help but wonder, what is this fool thinking again?

Sure enough, Xiao Xiao spoke again, "What are we now?"

"What are we?"

He didn’t immediately understand what Xiao Xiao was asking and instinctively asked.

Seeing his bewildered look, Xiao Xiao’s eyes dimmed.

So, they were nothing after all, and he was probably just having fun teasing her?

Lin Junyang saw her lower her gaze to hide the hint of disappointment, her long lashes trembling, and he suddenly understood what she was asking.

Her persistence, her cautiousness pierced his heart like a needle; he never knew she cared about him so much.

Lin Junyang pulled Xiao Xiao over, his words full of disdain, "Fool, what do you think we are now? You’ve been bullied by me like this, of course, I have to take responsibility. I’m a decent man; I won’t bully the weak."

Xiao Xiao raised her head, looking at his slightly upturned lips, his smug and infuriating look, couldn’t help asking, "So... how will you take responsibility?"

Then she felt something was wrong, as if she was forcing him to marry her?

"That’s not what I meant," Xiao Xiao explained in a panic.

"I’ll marry you," Lin Junyang said softly before Xiao Xiao could finish explaining, "after Second Brother’s matters settle, I’ll talk to Aunt Xiao about us during your vacation."

Xiao Xiao suddenly looked up, her eyes shimmering, quickly reddening at the rims.

He actually said he would marry her; she never thought Lin Junyang would say he’d marry her one day.

Such an extraordinary man with a prestigious background, she clearly knew the gap between them, yet he really said he’d marry her.

Seeing her on the verge of tears, Lin Junyang’s heart softened, yet he teasingly said, "What? You’re not happy with me marrying you? Or did you never intend for me to marry you, just wanted to take advantage of me?"
