Chapter 143: Chapter 107: The Well-Endowed Eldest Princess

Lou Yingqi opened his mouth, wanting to offer a reminder. But the old man’s aura was so imposing at this moment that it left him unsure of how to begin.

However, Zeng Shilin did not make him wait long. He slowly looked at him and asked, "If we want to make the Princess Faction hesitate, I do have a method."

"What method?" Lou Yingqi shuddered, looking at the old man expectantly.

"Is the snake’s corpse still around?" A cold sneer tugged at the corners of the old man’s mouth.

"Uh..." Lou Yingqi looked up in bewilderment.

"Have it sent to my mansion later. I will stew some snake soup and deliver it to the Eldest Princess."

Lou Yingqi’s jaw dropped in astonishment. He first looked at Zeng Anmin, then at Zeng Shilin, falling into a daze for a moment.

"A warning shot to intimidate them—brilliant plan!" Zeng Anmin gave a thumbs-up.

The old man slowly tilted his chin up, his voice indifferent. "It is only because Dean Shi followed that fellow Ji Qing to the border to subdue demons. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be the one delivering this bowl of snake soup."

Dean Shi was the dean of the Capital City’s Qi Lin Academy, an absolute powerhouse in the Second Grade Life Writing Realm of the Confucian Dao, and the old man’s biggest backer in the Capital City during his younger days! However, this great backer was currently slaying demons in the Northern Territory alongside the Imperial City Director, Ji Qing.

"Thank you, Duke Zeng." Without realizing it, Lou Yingqi had changed how he addressed the old man.

"Mhm. It is getting late, so I won’t keep Assistant Minister Lou for dinner." The old man slowly picked up his teacup.

"I shall take my leave." Lou Yingqi bowed respectfully to the old man and slowly backed out toward the door.

"Aren’t you going to see him out?" Zeng Anmin blinked, looking at his father.

Zeng Shilin stared at him expressionlessly for a moment. Then, taking a sip of tea, he calmly asked in return, "So why are you still sitting here?"

"Uh."

Zeng Namming’s mouth twitched. He immediately stepped out and chased after Lou Yingqi. "Uncle Lou, let me walk you out!"

That night.

Inside the extravagantly magnificent Imperial Palace, a mature woman sat in a certain courtyard. Before her sat a highly ornamental Chime Bell set. At this moment, her long, pale fingers held a slender mallet, gently striking the Chime Bell in front of her.

The mature woman was incredibly glamorous. Her eyes seemed veiled by fine sand, enigmatic and impossible to read. Yet, they also sparkled like scattered stars, enough to captivate any young man’s gaze. Every feature of her face was perfectly proportioned. A red mole at the corner of her mouth gave her an alluring beauty.

DING DING DING.

The melodious chimes echoed gracefully through the courtyard. A look of pure enjoyment washed over the woman’s face. Dressed in a long black robe, she exuded an unparalleled air of nobility.

As her striking rhythm quickened, her high, full peaks heaved up and down, threatening to spill from her robes. The most striking part of her, however, was her waist. Her impossibly narrow waist was bound tightly by a Jade Belt, forming an exquisitely beautiful curve. It provoked wild fantasies and left one blushing.

Below that, her round hips rested on a bright yellow cushion, pressing against it in a way that would leave any observer breathless. From head to toe, she radiated absolute perfection. She looked like a masterpiece carved from white jade by the world’s most masterful artisan.

A Palace Maid stood off to the side, her head bowed in utmost reverence, quietly waiting as the mature woman struck the Chime Bell.

Only when the piece ended did the Palace Maid dare to speak. "Your Highness, Princess Ning’an has come to see you."

The mature woman slowly looked up, her gaze staring straight into the Palace Maid’s eyes. "What is it?"

Her voice carried a magnificent yet indifferent tone. It possessed an aloofness that seemed wholly detached from the mortal world, yet faintly carried a deeply seductive allure. Her voice was utterly gorgeous, lingering in the air like beautiful music.

"I do not know." The Palace Maid bowed even lower.

"Aunt!!"

At this moment, a figure swept in from outside the courtyard like a gust of wind. A chill lingered in Ning’an’s eyes. She marched up to the Eldest Princess and pointed toward the entrance.

"Have those Palace Maids and eunuchs killed!

"They kept trying to block me from coming in!

"Worthless slaves!"

As she spoke, she gritted her teeth in fury. "If a few servants dared to block my way at my estate, I’d have them chopped to pieces and fed to the dogs!"

Ning’an was still her usual self; her mere presence was enough to render everyone speechless.

A glint of coldness flashed through the Eldest Princess’s eyes before a smile bloomed on her peerless face. She slowly rose from her cushion. "They are just a few servants. Why let it bother you?"

Only then was her true figure fully revealed. Long legs, a narrow waist, round hips, and those incredibly eye-catching, towering peaks. She was extremely tall, standing a full head taller than Ning’an.

Looking down at Ning’an, her smile gentle, she asked, "What brings you to your aunt today?"

Ning’an wore an expression of complete entitlement. "I’m out of silver, so I came to ask you for some. Just give me one thousand taels for now."

The Eldest Princess chuckled. "So that is all it is."

With that, she tilted her chin and looked at the Palace Maid nearby. "Go fetch a three-thousand-tael silver note for Princess Ning’an."

"Yes." The Palace Maid remained meek and submissive. However, right before she left, she narrowed her eyes and shot Ning’an a brief glance.

Princess Ning’an was completely oblivious to this. She brazenly sat down on the cushion the Eldest Princess had just vacated. "The pastries here are delicious, Aunt. Do you have any more?"

The Eldest Princess gave a soft smile and shook her head. "It is not mealtime yet, so we don’t have any at the moment."

As soon as she spoke, a voice called out, "Princess, someone is here to see you. They claim to have brought a nourishing meal to warm your vitality and blood."

"Oh?" The Eldest Princess frowned slightly. She looked at the Palace Maid and asked, "Who sent it?"

"The Minister’s Mansion," the Palace Maid replied.

The Minister’s Mansion? It should be Ren Weizhi.

The Eldest Princess’s brow relaxed. She calmly nodded.
