Chapter 2061: Chapter 1622: The True Form Emerges
Ange actually slapped his thigh? This action shocked everyone, what happened?
The habit of thigh-slapping started with Negris, but Negris’ arms were too short, only reaching the belly, which it called a waist.
Anthony, that Old God Stick, in order to fit in, would learn from it from time to time. Eventually, everyone got used to it. This action displayed annoyance and sudden realization, typically an unconscious reaction when suddenly figuring out something that had been puzzling.
But Ange is the Void Origin, does he also have something he can’t figure out?
"My body, my true body," Ange said.
Negris and Anthony exchanged a glance. The ’true body’ emphasized by Ange obviously wasn’t referring to his current Stacked Clone, nor to the clone at the Little Fireman Divine Star, but only to that Red Giant Ball on the Chaos Plane, the body formed from everything gathered on the Chaos Plane.
"What’s wrong with your true body?" Negris asked puzzledly. Was there something about Ange’s true body that made him annoyed or confused?
"Collapse source, different layers, body, can’t get out," Ange explained.
Negris suddenly slapped his waist muscle: "It makes sense, it makes sense now. No wonder your true body hasn’t been able to come out of the Boundless Space Hole after all these years. It turns out the Chaos Plane is at the collapse source, with different layers."
Ange had summoned his true body a long time ago, moving towards his direction, but it started fast, and soon Ange could draw in the consciousness of Anthony and others.
After some time, he was able to use the power of his true body, and when unleashing a big move, the power of the true body would project, forming a light ball phantom hovering behind him.
Then nothing. Over the next decade or so, the true body never appeared.
No one found it strange because when Little Ghost emerged from the Chaos Plane, it also took twenty years. It wasn’t even twenty years for Ange’s true body yet, so it wasn’t unusual that it hadn’t shown up.
Unexpectedly, Ange now slapped his thigh saying it was because of the collapse source. Could it be that Ange’s true body can’t come out because it’s in a different layer?
"No, if it’s different layers, why could Little Ghost get out?" Negris asked.
Ange shook his head, this was also the reason he never thought in the direction of different layers. How could Little Ghost get out when his true body couldn’t?
"Then... then what do we do now?" Negris asked.
Ange shook his head.
What does that mean? Negris couldn’t understand Ange’s shake of the head, is it that he doesn’t know what to do, or that he has no ability to do anything?
They couldn’t solve Ange’s annoyance and had to proceed with the plan. Silver coin went ahead, and the rest changed appearance, forming into the previous Star Flame Embodiment style, with limbs on the ground, longer forelimbs, and a tentacle hanging below the head, resembling an elephant walking in a gorilla-style, and the tentacle like a nose.
"I feel weird." Negris flew along, swinging his tentacle: "Having this extra thing feels a bit unaccustomed."
Others were quite accustomed to it, especially Anthony, who would gently fly forward when he swung his tentacle ahead.
It wasn’t long before they landed on the largest piece of rock in the ruins.
As soon as they landed, Xisluo was shocked: "Star Flame Rock? Such a large piece?"
Negris stomped and asked puzzledly: "What is this stuff? It’s quite fragile, shatters with a stomp."
"Of course, it’s fragile after sitting for a while. This is the residue after Star Flame burns. A God Star is 99.999% Star Flame, with only a tiny few impurities remaining, and less than half will turn into residue like this. Such a large piece, the God Star that burned to this pile of residue must have been at least as large as the Sixth Divine Star." Xisluo said.
"Wow..." Negris marveled at the Star Flame Rock the size of the Little Fireman Divine Star: "Do these residues have any use? Maybe Duroken could use some."
"If they had any use, they wouldn’t be called residue. Their only function is they can’t be burned up by Star Flame, but they’re so fragile that they shatter into pieces with strength, so they’re not of much use." Xisluo said.
"That’s not necessarily true." Negris bent down and gathered some: "Don’t forget we have the Crystal Plating Technology, coating them on the surface of clothing might make them resistant to the high temperatures of Star Flame. And for something that doesn’t burn, that’s its greatest use, think of Pure Melted Fire."
Xisluo spread his hands and then gathered some himself.
"You said it was useless, so why are you gathering it?" Negris mocked.
"Its particles are tiny yet very hard, ground to a powder it can be used to polish lenses. I’ll grind a larger Stargazing Mirror later." Xisluo said.
While they were gathering Star Flame Rock, Anthony was observing the surroundings. Countless Star Descendants were moving swiftly around the rock, some flying urgently, appearing very busy but none using Star Shifting.
"It seems we can’t use Star Shifting here, everyone be careful." Anthony warned.
Ursman asked in a bewildered tone: "What are they so busy with?"
The question sounded like a philosophical one, but Ursman clearly wasn’t pondering philosophy, merely confused: "They don’t need food, nor do they need to reproduce, so why are they flying back and forth?"
"It must be following the will of the God Star, they don’t need food, nor do they need reproduction, the only thing they need to follow is the will of the God Star. The only thing that can make them so busy is the God Star." Anthony said.
Ursman was more puzzled: "Why? There must be a purpose to making them busy, is it just for the sake of being busy?"
Anthony suddenly asked Negris: "Those Star Descendants on the Little Fireman Divine Star, are they normally busy?"
"Not busy at all, sunbathing all day, bored to death, which is why silver coin’s leisure and entertainment products sell so well there." Negris said.
So what is making them busy?
Unable to think of a solution no matter how one tried, Anthony suddenly called out to a Star Descendant passing overhead: "Where are you going?"
The Star Descendant stopped, looking at Anthony in confusion: "You calling me?"
"Yes, I’m calling you, do you have a name? Where are you going?" Anthony asked.
The Star Descendant seemed a bit delighted: "Finally, someone asks my name, I’m Kegonggonggu, Kei is the name of my main star, Gonggong Gu is my name, and you? What’s your name?"
Anthony thought for a while and said: "I’m Six Anthony, Six is the name of my main star, I’m called Anthony."
"Oh, you’re Star Descendants of the Sixth Divine Star? I hope you are not saddened by the departure of your main star." Gonggong Gu said regretfully.
Huh? So friendly? Previously another Star Descendant had mocked them for being from the Sixth Divine Star.
Anthony said: "We won’t be, thank you. You haven’t said where you’re going."
"To collect things, a few years ago, a God Star was killed, its body is dispersing, I’m going to collect some back." Gonggong Gu said.
"Killed? Who killed it? Exotic Ghosts?" Anthony asked.
"Of course not, it was killed by my main star." Gonggong Gu said.
"Your main star killed it? Why?" Anthony asked confusedly.
"I don’t know either, the main star didn’t tell me. Do you want to come with me?" Gonggong Gu said.
"Huh? I can go too?" Anthony was shocked. The beast slain by your main star, is it appropriate to let others come when harvesting the body?
"What’s inappropriate? Its body has turned into Incremental Fog dispersing over a large area, whoever picks it up gets it. If you don’t go, I can’t pick it all up, many Star Descendants are collecting it." Gonggong Gu said indifferently.
"Is it that difficult to pick up these things? Couldn’t your main star just go around and absorb everything?" Negris couldn’t help but ask.
Gonggong Gu said: "Impossible, it died in the material cloud, the main star drilling in would also absorb the material cloud."
So that’s it, it’s not really about harvesting the body, but gathering up the fragments.
Yet a God Star’s fragments dispersing, even in increments, meant quite a lot. Since there was nothing else to do, Anthony immediately agreed to Gonggong Gu’s proposal, and the group of Star Descendants flew towards the distant material cloud.
As they were flying, Ange suddenly, inexplicably, said: "It’s out."
