Chapter 2105: Chapter 1666: You Want Me to Provide the Increment for Your Upgrade?

"What! Playing this trick again? Stop dragging it out." The Monarch said reluctantly.

He was all too familiar with Anthony’s methods — patiently planning, meticulously plotting, deceitful tactics — they were never straightforward, unlike the pleasure of a direct confrontation.

Collaborating with Anthony before had left him frustrated, and now, hearing that Anthony wanted to resort to this again, the Monarch was not in the least inclined to comply.

Although he was reluctant, the Monarch’s actions betrayed his intentions as he turned to Lania and asked, "I can leave here, but I’d like to ask, do you want to extend your lifespan?"

"Extend lifespan? You’re saying to extend mine?" Lania asked in shock.

The Monarch nodded, "Yes, yours, to extend your lifespan."

Lania felt a sense of absurdity rising within, locking her gaze on the Monarch firmly, then slowly asked, "Do you know who I am?"

The Monarch replied calmly, "The Branch Lord of Lania, right? Unless you have some other identity I don’t know about."

"Since you know my identity, why ask such an absurd question? Can you extend the lifespan of the God Star? Do you know what that means?" Lania asked angrily, her tone unable to conceal her enraged disbelief.

The Monarch, not about to accommodate the other, replied even more aggressively, "I asked if you wanted to extend your lifespan, why are you babbling on? Whether I can or not is my concern, whether you want it or not is yours, why do you care if I can do it?"

Within the God Star was an unstoppable decay, causing its temperature to rise; its decay was adding up, depleting its lifespan. Lania’s reaction was, in human terms — infuriated.

Rage harming the body was, for Lania, a literal exhaustion of life; he quickly calmed himself, suppressing his emotions, and replied stiffly, "I do."

"Alright, I can extend your lifespan, but what price are you willing to pay?" asked the Monarch.

Lania coldly said, "I’m not interested in things that won’t happen. There’s no value in what cannot be done."

This tiny Incremental Body dared to make such grand claims; if it were an Exotic Ghost or a Time-Space Ancient Dragon, he might have believed it.

The Monarch laughed and said, "Let me show you."

With that, he stimulated the incremental energy within himself, releasing it in a steady stream towards the surrounding Star Flame. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Lania was startled, realizing, yes, the other was an Incremental Body and could virtualize. If he infiltrated his core and released the incremental energy, it could indeed extend his lifespan.

But such a tiny amount of incremental energy was far from sufficient. Lania, as the Branch Lord, was 300,000 times larger compared to the Little Fireman.

And the energy level of the Little Fireman compared to the Monarch’s might exceed that 300,000 times difference.

The energy level gap was too vast; Lania’s decay per second might match the several-fold energy output from the Monarch’s body, meaning the Monarch’s entire incremental energy release wouldn’t last Lania a second.

Despite being somewhat tempted, Lania still said, "What’s the use of such a little incremental energy, I just need to glare at you and I’d consume more than you have in your entire skeleton."

The Monarch laughed, "What do you mean? Do you expect me to give you incremental energy too? I’m helping extend your lifespan, and you want me to supply the materials? I’m not producing incremental energy, just transporting it. If you have extra incremental energy, I can help transport it to the core, can’t I? That’ll extend your lifespan."

Lania felt invigorated; a good solution didn’t require constant proof, it stood out clearly as viable.

The Monarch was an Incremental Body, capable of virtualization, able to infiltrate deep into the Divine Star Core; even in transportation, he could move the incremental energy to the core, making it highly feasible.

Lania was already considering where the incremental energy would come from, and how much could be transported at a time? He even subconsciously felt the Monarch was too small, wondering how much incremental energy such a small figure could transport at once?

Extending lifespan was a major matter; minor issues like getting scammed could be ignored, and letting him into his core wasn’t a big deal either.

The Divine Star Core was vast; Lania’s core area alone was several hundred times larger than the entire Little Fireman. As long as it reached the core area, the released incremental energy could extend lifespan.

The current issue was whether the Monarch could reach that position.

Thinking of this, Narnia asked, "How deep can you penetrate?"

"You’ll know if you try; first, remove your incremental net." The Monarch suggested.

Lania withdrew the incremental net, and the Monarch immediately virtualized, diving towards the core region.

Without Lania’s obstruction, the virtualized Monarch easily navigated through the Star Flame, quickly reaching the core area.

In fact, he could have stopped there, but the Monarch did not; instead, he dived toward the point of greatest pressure at the center.

Reaching the midpoint, the Monarch first attempted to condense a finger.

But as soon as the finger took shape, it was crushed by the enormous pressure of the God Star’s center, breaking into bits and transforming into incremental energy that exploded all at once.

Lania was startled, "No, you can’t withstand the pressure at my center point, try pulling back some distance."

The Monarch shifted a distance, stopping one-fifth away from the center point, and once again condensed a finger.

This time, it didn’t crack immediately, but after enduring for over ten seconds, the finger bone still fractured, and once the Black Crystal Finger Bone fractured, the incremental energy inside exploded, the energy was released externally, and the finger bone shattered to dust.

Lania was somewhat anxious; although not yet at an old age, the incremental energy within him was dwindling day by day. If there was a way to replenish it, it would mean he could sustain indefinitely.

A highly promising feasible solution, yet it was disproven at the last moment.

The hope of success possibly dashed instantly made Lania anxious, "Here, here, one-third the distance from the center point, as long as it’s within this range, supplementing the incremental energy can extend my lifespan."

The Monarch reached a position one-third from the center point, condensing a finger again, and this time it endured much longer, lasting a few minutes before cracking.

"No, you can’t withstand the pressure within my body." Narnia said in disappointment.

"Don’t worry, don’t worry, this body can’t handle it. I’ll use another body. But my other body is quite large, and I don’t have enough incremental energy to virtualize it entirely. You’ll need to supply additional energy for me to fully virtualize." The Monarch replied.

If Lania had eyes, he’d probably be glaring by now, "You want me to provide incremental energy to upgrade your body?"
