Chapter 2114: Chapter 1675: Void Vanishes—Distance No Longer Exists
The star flames on the Sixth Divine Star spilled out indiscriminately at the fastest speed, just like an explosion. The Divine Star Body quickly shrank, soon only leaving the incremental core section, with the entire mass reduced ten thousand times.
Although the mass was reduced, the remainder was all incremental and virtualized, moving like a phantom, capable of using abilities like Star Shift and Soul Shift.
Ange, with a thought, appeared near Morania. The gravity field on him quickly spread, enveloping Morania—Gravity Cage.
The Monarch asked in surprise, "Huh, how can you use this technique?"
Ange said in some confusion, "I, Devouring Origin."
The tone was as if saying: Is it strange for Devouring Origin to know this technique?
Negris said proudly, "Ange is the Great Unified Origin of the Seven Forces, including the Devouring Origin. He only needs one glance to learn techniques reliant on the Power of Devour, and uses them even more proficiently than others."
The Origin Power is that formidable? The Monarch wondered confusedly.
His Origin Power wasn’t comprehended by himself but obtained by devouring the Chaos Mist from the Chaos Plane; in terms of understanding Origin Power, he’s indeed inferior to the Farming Origin of the Seven Forces Unification.
With the Gravity Cage’s force enveloping Morania, Ange accelerated outward, the gravity pulling Morania, dragging him flying outward from the Material Cloud too.
Previously unable to move at all when absorbed, under the incremental core’s pull, Morania finally moved, slowly accelerating under its influence.
Still, the speed couldn’t increase much, and there was a trend of increasing suction force; continuing like this might result in being absorbed again.
Anthony said, "Sir, throw him off, don’t bother with him, just protect the incremental core."
Morania could completely project his Star Soul over; he’s just unwilling to let go of the Divine Star Body’s power. Yet, incrementals are everywhere, taking risks for a bit of increment is truly unnecessary.
And Ange wasn’t really taking a risk, after all, this is merely the body of the Sixth Planet, not Ange’s own body.
At this moment, a large amount of star flame streams suddenly appeared in the void ahead. The aura was very familiar; it was the star flames thrown out from the Sixth Divine Star.
Having scattered the outer layer of star flames from the Sixth Divine Star, Ange used Soul Shift to arrive here, thus outrunning the star flames that have only just arrived now.
With a thought, Ange quickly expanded the Gravity Cage’s range to enclose those scattered streams too.
As the streams approached the Sixth Divine Star, the Gravity Cage absorbed them like a magnet. Ange quickly controlled them as they were homogenous energy scattered from himself, making them easy to manipulate again.
Guiding the streams to transform into Star Flame Balls, circling to Morania’s back, then suddenly exploding.
Violent energy shattered in all directions, filling the entire space, cutting off that invisible suction force.
The tremendous impact hit Morania, making him lunge forward abruptly, and with Ange dragging him, their speed soared instantly.
Immediately, a second Star Flame Ball circled to Morania’s back and exploded again.
So, one Star Flame Ball after another continually exploded behind Morania, pushing him to accelerate forward lunge after lunge.
How long has passed? Everyone felt a sudden lightness; the suction force vanished completely.
"Escaped?" Negris asked incredulously.
"Seems so," Anthony kept gazing backward, but it was pitch black, revealing nothing; only sensing that suction capable of absorbing even a Divine Star had disappeared.
Negris glanced around for a long time but saw nothing, suddenly slapped his muscular waist: "Why am I staring blankly here, Ange let me see through his vision."
After speaking, he shared Ange’s vision, and those with Soul Contact promptly followed up, leaving only the Monarch without Soul Contact staring blankly.
Switching to Ange’s Vision, the void behind wasn’t merely pitch black anymore but showed squares silently collapsing, as if it wasn’t dark void but black glass, with a force tearing the void apart like glass.
As these voids shattered, a point at the far end of the vision became increasingly clear—that was the source tearing the void.
As the void shattered, the distance between them closed, like a conveyor belt; the void resembled a conveyor belt pulling everything toward that point.
Everyone stood their hair on end, this powerful force tearing the void widely apart; any previous understanding of distance now rendered useless.
From this point, the approaching speed of the entity couldn’t be calculated by its flying speed anymore but by the speed of space breaking; as long as all the space between was shattered, even if the entity stood still, it would be close to them.
"Luckily escaped its suction range, as long as our speed can exceed the speed of its void breaking, we needn’t worry about being pulled in." Anthony stated.
"The whole void is shattered, and what about the Divine Stars in the Material Belt? What will happen to them?" Negris asked worriedly.
The Silver Coin said, "Dead, probably all dead. My avatar on Kelanis, and the avatars on other Divine Stars, can’t be contacted anymore. Fortunately, you called me back in advance; otherwise, my consciousness might have been swallowed too."
"All dead? So fast? Over such a distance, flying would take several years; why have they disappeared so quickly?" Negris asked, shocked.
Ursman slowly said, "That’s because there is no distance. Distance relies on space. No space means no distance; those Divine Stars couldn’t outrun the speed of space fragmentation and all got absorbed."
Everyone took a deep breath; the entire Material Belt with thousands of stars was consumed in such a short time. They initially thought distance was the safest barrier, but under the Branch Lord’s might, distance became a casually shattered thing; even ’escaping far away’ was unsafe.
"Luckily we escaped, if absorbed by it, we’d definitely be slower than the speed of space fragmentation," Negris sighed.
Ursman shook his head, "Not necessarily, if it swallowed all thousands of planets in the Material Belt, to what level would its mass increase? Maybe its suction force and absorption range would grow further, so we better hurry away."
No sooner had the voice fallen, Morania’s body suddenly halted, as if caught by something.
Negris couldn’t help but curse, "Damn it, you God of Misfortune, your mouth!"
