Chapter 2126 - 1687: Not Tired, Not Tired—I Can Still Fight
Chapter 2126: Chapter 1687: Not Tired, Not Tired—I Can Still Fight
The gigantic Star Descendant, carrying a huge hammer, ran across the void with loud thuds, first throwing a small-sized hammer towards the Star Lord’s Chariot from afar, then leaped into the air, smashing down with the giant hammer in hand.
As the hammer swung, the handle extended rapidly. Despite the great distance, the hammer’s head had already fallen above the Star Lord’s Chariot the moment it swung down.
This scene surprised everyone, even the Monarch couldn’t help but say, "So reckless? Good way to come."
Although the Monarch often talked about slashing people, he was actually reasonable in action. Something like jumping up to smash someone with a hammer just because they were momentarily dazzled was something the Monarch had never done.
However, seeing the opponent so savage, the Monarch got excited. There was no psychological burden chopping up such a guy. He hadn’t slashed anyone for a long time; the Death Scythe in his hand had long been thirsty.
The Monarch punched the small hammer thrown by the opponent into the air, the Star Attraction on his body soared out, and he swung the scythe towards the falling giant hammer. With a loud boom, both the giant hammer and the Death Scythe shattered, the explosive energy waves splattering in all directions.
The Star Attraction stood firm in place as the Monarch’s main body was pulled out and merged into one with the attraction.
The Monarch laughed heartily, the Death Scythe reformed in his hands: "Great, refreshing, to withstand a strike from me, you have the right to die in my hands."
Carrying the Death Scythe, the Monarch then charged towards the unaware gigantic Star Descendant.
The Star Forger was shocked, bewildered, with a hint of panic, instinctively shouting, "Incremental Body?!"
The Star Forger of the Ten Thousand Refining Empire was knowledgeable enough to recognize the Incremental Body. The Star Forger panicked for a moment, then immediately started hammering in place, the huge hammerhead pounding on the void, suddenly creating one bright imprint after another.
"Hmm, is this a magic array?" Durken said in surprise as he looked at the imprints created out of thin air.
Anthony said, "It is indeed a magic array, but hammered out in the way of a Star God Artifact, with an energy level much higher than a magic array, it’s not magic elements being mobilized, but Origin Power. It should be called an Origin Magic Array."
The act of the Star Forger also made the Monarch stop, leisurely watching the other busy at work.
Negris said annoyedly, "This Old Immortal is at it again."
The enemy was setting up an array, and in such a situation, it was best to interrupt the opponent’s process, rather than stand by and watch the array be completed.
Durken said, "These arrays are formed at once; they form as soon as they are hammered out; afterwards, it’s just about stacking damage or constructing compound arrays."
"Of course, His Majesty stopped mainly to have fun too." Durken said, spreading his hands.
The Monarch hadn’t had a serious fight in a long time; whether it was in the Furnace Branch or on Lania Branch Road before, it didn’t count as serious combat; it was just picking a fight. Now it was hard to come across a serious opponent, using new techniques he hadn’t seen before, how could he not have a play?
Six array imprints formed around the Star Forger. The Star Forger glanced at the Monarch, seeing the Monarch still stopped in place, quickly realized the other’s intention, feeling both annoyed and somewhat relieved.
Relieved because the other did not immediately attack, giving him time to stack more powerful arrays. The strength of the Incremental Body he knew well, encountering the Incremental Body unprepared, if the opponent attacked first, it would be very troublesome to deal with.
Annoyed because it was clear the other did not regard him at all, blatantly waiting for him to finish the array, this contempt made him furious. Even if you’re an Incremental Body, you don’t have the right to look down on him, this Star Forger.
The biggest problem with dealing with an Incremental Body was being unable to catch it. The Incremental Body’s attacks were unstoppable and could even break through spatial confinement. Ordinary means couldn’t restrict the other’s movement, leading to most attacks missing the target.
To hit the Incremental Body, first, you had to restrict its movement. Among the six array imprints hammered out by the Star Forger, four were Abyssal Power. Once the array formed, the Star Forger pointed in the Monarch’s direction—a direction—Abyssal Shackles.
Four Gravity Beams fired towards the Monarch’s direction, the force field firmly locking the Monarch, pulling the Monarch towards the array.
"Whoa!" The Monarch exclaimed, taking a step to stabilize himself.
The Abyssal Shackles couldn’t move the Monarch, instead pulling the Star Forger and array imprints towards the Monarch’s direction.
The Star Forger thought to himself, "Got you now."
Though the direction changed, the result was the same; it was the distance between the two rapidly closing.
The remaining two arrays immediately activated, the surrounding space quickly dimmed, turning into black mist, enveloping the Star Forger and the arrays—Dark Mist.
The seven Origin Powers were the basis of all creation in the void, among which the Dark Power was the ubiquitous Origin Power that could be found even in the most barren void.
The Dark Power could invade everything, including light and divine sense. Once it spread out, no divine sense or light could penetrate it.
The Abyssal Shackles dragged a mist impenetrable to divine sense, quickly closing in on the Monarch’s position.
Anthony commented, "Combat capability is strong, reaction is quick, and there’s no strategic issue, but unfortunately, the level difference is too great."
The Dark Mist quickly engulfed the Monarch. Unable to investigate with divine sense, others besides Ange couldn’t see what was happening inside.
Tyrone and Xisluo promptly summoned their ’King’s Vision,’ directing it at the Dark Mist.
In the King’s Vision, squares twisted continuously, either bulging or shrinking, changing unpredictably, indicating violent spatial fluctuations inside.
How long did it last? A few minutes? The Dark Mist suddenly dissipated, revealing the situation inside.
Surrounding the Star Forger were six array imprints, two of which had already shattered, precisely the two operating the Dark Power.
The remaining four devoured Power Arrays released deep Abyssal Shackles, firmly locking both parties in place.
And the Monarch stood there unscathed, while the Star Forger, wielding a giant hammer, thumped away in vain. The Monarch was unhurt; the Star Forger was gasping for breath, his entire form dimmed considerably.
The level gap was enormous; the Monarch stood there letting the opponent smash away but couldn’t break the defense. After all, he had just had a confrontation with the Furnace Branch’s Helios and the Lania Branch Road’s Lania; Lania even got angered and was devouring the entire branch.
If even attacks from Branch Lords couldn’t do anything to the Monarch, what could a mere Star Descendant do?
When the Star Forger finally tired of hammering, the Monarch raised the scythe, pointing it at the opponent, and asked with a smile, "Tired? If you’re tired, it’s my turn."
The Star Forger hurriedly pointed to the extinguished God Star and said, "Not tired, not tired, I can continue, but I need a change of place, I’ll go to that God Star, I can fully exert my strength there."
