Su Jiameng felt a jolt in her heart upon hearing this. Thinking of Shelier’s nature, she suddenly felt she didn’t dare to imagine further.

"We’ve investigated him, tsk tsk tsk... that’s truly an outstanding gene sequence. He’s the most excellent in overall quality among the male warriors I’ve encountered." The Shelier man did not hide his admiration. "I’ve already decided to marry my sister to him..."

Su Jiameng: "..." _(:з)∠)_ Poor Lu Anchen, I hope his chastity is still intact...

"So the purpose of contacting me... is just to inform me of this news?" Su Jiameng frowned. She instinctively knew this Shelier man was different from other guys, his intelligence clearly above average and not easy to deal with!

Otherwise, how could someone as outstanding as Lu Anchen, a scout and intelligence officer, be captured so easily? Judging by appearances, he had been detained for quite some time, during which Lu Anchen hadn’t sent her any distress messages.

"No, no, no, of course not. In fact, I’m here to arrange a meeting with you to discuss a matter. I already know what you let that pretty boy do, and I also know that now that rubbish army has been revamped. Whether or not to really take action against those idiots at the Maxiwa Delta remains uncertain. Before the war begins, I want to make a deal with you."

A deal request from a Shelier with a criminal record? Su Jiameng thought she had just heard the biggest joke of the century.

"Talk about something? And meet alone?" She didn’t even bother to despise this guy. As an Alliance Major General, how could she meet with her enemy to talk before the war began? Waiting to be ambushed?

"Yes, if you’re worried, you can set the location and time." The man spoke generously, as if he were very forthright. However, Su Jiameng wasn’t someone who would easily let her guard down, nor would she easily trust her enemy.

"Sorry, I refuse." Su Jiameng said coldly, though she was thinking about how to get Lu Anchen back. This man knew so much; it certainly wasn’t Lu Anchen who voluntarily told him. How many interrogation techniques were used in between? She dared not imagine.

Even though that Shelier guy said to let Lu Anchen be his brother-in-law, but thinking of their social customs... damn brother-in-law!

There are many interrogation methods, anyway, the Shelier only care about having hybrid offspring with alien species, not about their quality of life. She could not give up on Lu Anchen, and had to find a way to rescue him.

The Shelier man seemed unprepared for Su Jiameng’s straightforward refusal, his eyes suddenly turning invasive and dangerous, his rough voice laced with a venomous tone, "Oh, that’s your decision? Aren’t you concerned about your partner’s life? If you don’t come, we can’t guarantee how much longer he will live."

Su Jiameng’s expression remained calm and unchanged, looking at the other as if watching a child’s tantrum. "He’s an Alliance warrior; from the moment he put on his uniform, he lives and dies for the Alliance. As long as it’s for the good of the Alliance, if his life is lost, then so be it. He would understand. Using this to threaten me, his weight isn’t enough, and neither is the intimidation in your words."

Su Jiameng’s words were cold enough to freeze the heart, making the Shelier man gnash his teeth in hatred!

"Alright, if you went through all the trouble just to say such trivial nonsense, I think you might as well shut up." Su Jiameng snorted coldly, intending to hang up the call, only to be stopped by the other at the crucial moment.

"Woman, you’re truly... just as cold and ruthless as he said." The man snorted before continuing, "If you really want to take down the Maxiwa Delta, you’d better meet with me. I assure you, the outcome won’t disappoint you."

Su Jiameng mused slightly, then asked, "Saying that... can I interpret it as you’re going to betray Maxiwa Delta?"

Her words seemed to amuse her counterpart, who coldly laughed, "Betrayal? You’re overthinking it. There’s nothing in the world worthy of my loyalty, so where does betrayal come from? The only reason I’m here is it’s easy to find a mate..."

Well, that is indeed a sufficient reason. Shelier’s desire for alien species is beyond others’ understanding. They would genuinely do things like ’angered for the sake of a beauty’, and it’s rumored several power struggles and successions were triggered by alien species.

"Looking for you is only because you’re safer than those guys... they’re good-looking but smell like the Insect Race, like rotting meat left for several days." The information he inadvertently leaked changed Su Jiameng’s expression.

"Those people? Who?" Smelling like the Insect Race?

Though the Shelier guy could be pesky and hard to get along with, their sense of the Insect Race was unparalleled! It felt like an inherent instinct, and when the Insect Race approached, it couldn’t escape their perception!

In her second life, the Shelier Clan did temporarily gain many Alliance offers because of this trait. Many people mated with members of the Shelier Clan for the greater good, just to produce powerful hybrid genes!

Shelier hybrids had more than a hundred times the sensing ability for the Insect Race compared to purebreds, with an incredibly high accuracy, making them elite scouts on the Insect Race battlefield! And now, this hybrid reported encountering good-looking ones that smelled like the Insect Race...

Subconsciously, Su Jiameng’s mind conjured up the Divine Hidden Clan...

Upon further inquiry, she confirmed that those people he mentioned were the Divine Hidden Clan, and they had even established a firmly allied force in Maxiwa Delta, absorbing most of the criminals into this organization...

However, how much of this information is true or false would require Su Jiameng to discern for herself.
