Chapter 790 Backdoor Privileges and Hacks (Part 1)

At this moment, it wasn’t just the girl Shelier who had the same thought, but also many residents of Po Jun Star who were caught off guard, those criminals who committed crimes and came here to hide! Events unfolded one after another, giving no one time to catch their breath. By the time they figured it out, the fierce assault of the garrison legion had truly begun.

The development level of this Plane is naturally not low, and the use of Chongming Ore has been thoroughly researched. However, they never expected that when this ore was truly applied on the battlefield, it could exert such a mind-blowingly explosive influence!

Of course, the Chongming Ore itself doesn’t possess such abilities, but who could blame Su Jiameng for being a Plane Merchant who communicates across the Myriad Realms?

As long as there are Plane Points, there is nothing she cannot purchase! By chance, she bought some great items from an Ore Plane that could maximally assist Chongming Ore. How could she not seize this opportunity? As the saying goes, "Strike while the iron is hot," she wouldn’t hesitate.

"Lieutenant General, have you found something amiss? Or perhaps, did this operation not achieve the expected outcome?"

While Su Jiameng was staring at the virtual screen in deep thought, a slightly neutral female voice came from behind her. Su Jiameng didn’t need to turn around to know who it was—it was one of the confidants she had cultivated during this time, an outstanding female officer, with an exceptional character and work capability, though not as strong in power. However, Su Jiameng admired her nature, steady and resolute, calm and composed.

Su Jiameng knew well that with a little cultivation and guidance, this person might be able to shoulder the heavy responsibility of the garrison legion’s mainstay in the future.

All good things must come to an end. When it comes down to it, they all eventually have to leave, and that moment will be upon the completion of this mission!

They are leaving, but the sudden loss of high-ranking core members in the garrison legion requires someone to fill their positions; otherwise, it will undoubtedly turn into chaos! Not to mention future operational issues, the mere post-battle cleanup and aftermath would be headache-inducing.

Su Jiameng had coexisted peacefully with the garrison legion for a year, and would continue fighting alongside them until the whole Maxiwa Delta was reclaimed! If things went smoothly, it would take about three years in all, and relationships would naturally deepen over time. On a personal note, she had already embraced the entire garrison legion under her wings, and once the battle subsided, she naturally hoped that the legion members could fare better.

Upon hearing the inquiry, Su Jiameng sighed softly, one hand in her pocket, and pointed to a few screens while saying, "I haven’t found anything unusual, just feeling a bit sentimental. We have been a bit too complacent."

The female officer furrowed her brows tightly because, in her view, the current situation was still very advantageous. In fact, they were in an absolute advantageous position, with the criminals scrambling in disarray. Yet, this was still deemed complacency? Was this deliberate sarcasm?

She hesitated for a moment, then voiced her internal doubts, "Lieutenant General, please forgive my candidness, but whether according to the pre-existing intel or the current situation, our forces are still in a relatively proactive position. Given this trend, completing the battle within the scheduled time shouldn’t be an issue. We’re still holding the tactical advantage of surprise, and the outcome is deserved."

Su Jiameng gave a faint smile and said to her, "Exactly as you said, we still have the advantage of surprise, but how long can we maintain it? Initially, we can indeed move with unstoppable momentum, but once the enemy fully reacts and organizes an effective counterattack, our advance will slow significantly. Once the city defenses recover and the effects of the Chongming Ore wear off, that will be the real fierce battle."

Though Su Jiameng calculated accurately, she wasn’t overly optimistic. Losing sight of oneself is a major taboo in warfare, "We are the Alliance’s garrison legion, specifically monitoring the Maxiwa Delta. Have you ever considered the composition of the Maxiwa Delta members?"

The other party naturally answered, "The members of the Maxiwa Delta are all traitors or criminals from various interstellar alliances, with crimes ranging from petty theft, fighting and rape to murder, serious breaches of military law, or betraying the Alliance. The combat strength and military capability of Po Jun Star rank among the top in seven planets, and its population is also among the top five, with countless serious criminals..."

"So, in an environment where crime is universal, how much combat power can they mobilize?" At this question, the other’s expression changed sharply, seemingly already understanding the implications. Su Jiameng continued, "The ratio of combat personnel is at least above eighty percent, and there are quite a few whose capabilities match those of the Alliance Soldiers... The situation might seem clear now, but..."
