Fucked Raw By My Enemies
Chapter 38: Arising doubts
Malachi’s pov
The line went dead.
Fuck!
My phone screen had the camera feed; she was a fucking blur, bolting off the bed like she’d been lit on fire.
The bear fell to the bed, and then she was gone. All I saw was her empty fucking bed, and that rose vibrator she had been about to cream all over.
For me.
One second, I was listening to the sweet, desperate sounds her pretty mouth made, watching her drive her slim, dainty fingers into her pink cunt, her pussy lips stretched and swollen, ready to cum, my cock straining painfully hard, ready to fucking erupt in my pants, and the next second it was all gone.
"Fuck!" I snarled, stabbing my cigarette out in the ashtray.
It sounded like someone had come in. Who? A neighbor? Family? I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to replay the single word I had heard just before the call cut.
That was a man’s voice, right? Why the fuck was a man at her door? It was what- I glanced at the clock display on my screen- eight thirty pm. Why was a bloody man at her door?
It had been... mildly irritating finding out she had been married but had left the asshole. Her eyes had watered this afternoon when talking about him.
There was so much pain in them that I knew he must have hurt her deeply. I already wanted to find the bastard badly and then watch in glee as Roman tortured the shit out of him. Maybe join in myself.
But that was in too deep. The thing with Ivy was just exactly what it was.
A thing. Our thing.
A very casual fucking thing. I and Ro sometimes had a kink for sharing the same girl. But that was it, it would fizzle out after a while.
I should not be obsessing over whatever shithead she was married to or who the man at her door had been.
He better not have walked into the room and seen her naked with her juices rolling down her thighs or I’m gouging his eyes out!
"Roman’s out." Gideon’s voice cut through my thoughts, cold as always, and the noise, the horrid music, the smell of alcohol, and the disco strobing lights all came rushing back. Watching Ivy had taken me out of this world, but now I was back.
I looked up from my phone just as Ro strolled into the VIP section of the club, wiping blood off his knuckles with a cocktail napkin like it was snot.
My twin brother grinned, his easy, sunny smile gleaming as the disco lights kept flashing on and off his face.
Since it was relatively dim in the club, not many people could tell that he was wiping blood off, and frankly, too many people in the club were too wasted to care. He walked past the guards stationed outside our VIP cubicle and tossed a phone straight at me.
"Easy peasy," he announced, dropping into the sofa between Gideon and me.
Our elder brother leaned back against his sofa, nursing a bottle of beer, his usual frown between his brows as his gaze fixed on Roman’s bloody knuckles. "You two would never fucking guess what our esteemed Daxton was up to."
I caught the phone one-handed in midair while G muttered in a dangerously quiet tone. "All you had to do was find out what he was hiding, Ro. You didn’t have to beat his men into a new century."
Roman just chuckled, leaning over to steal my glass of bourbon. He took a deep, long swallow. "Couldn’t resist. They were rude, G, and I wanted to leave a message."
"Just so you know, I poisoned that drink because I knew you would take it," I grumbled, swiping through the phone.
The wallpaper was a picture of our target, Wisteria’s top and favorite lawyer, a fighter for justice, or whatever bull shit the media fed the folks, Kevin Daxton and his pretty old wife.
"Oh no, the betrayal," Ro scoffed, downing the entire drink just to spite me. "I used his phone to record him. Pretty sweet, right? He didn’t even notice I was there for a while."
I swiped the screen open and found the video file, then hit play. My stomach churned within seconds of watching.
"Fucking pigs." The dimly lit bathroom didn’t do shit to hide the sleazy grin on Daxton’s face as he cornered a girl... no older than fifteen, I was sure, trembling in a corner as he grabbed at her dress. I gagged; the bourbon I drank was about to rise in my throat with bile.
G held his hand out, and my grip tightened around the phone for a minute. I would say that he didn’t see this, but his brow furrowed deeper, and with a sigh I handed him the phone.
Roman’s smile died, and he glanced at me, whispering, "You shouldn’t have shown him."
Too fucking bad. We couldn’t keep shit from Gid, even if it was to protect him; Gideon always found out.
He didn’t make a sound, or move, or breathe. The light in his blue eyes just... went out until it was fucking gone. I knew that look. Daxton was a dead man. Given what Gideon went through when he was a child, hurting a kid was a one-way ticket to a world of pain.
His hand tightened so hard on his beer bottle that the glass started to crack, lines streaking across the brown bottle.
"G... relax," I murmured, reaching across for the phone. "Brother, that’s evidence we need to make Daxton’s life hell; you cannot ruin it."
He didn’t fucking hear me. He was back in that dark place, and he was going to shatter the phone.
"G?" Roman called softly, pushing up from his sofa and coming up behind him. He wrapped his arms around Gid’s shoulders, all gentle and shit.
"Hey, she’s safe. I handed her over to Ken after taking care of Daxton’s men. She’s safe, I swear. If killing every bastard who ever hurt us would fix it, I’d do it. You know I would."
Gideon’s shoulders stiffened, and with a nod, he dropped the beer bottle on the table between us and reached his free hand over his shoulder to pat Roman’s hair before sliding the phone back to me.
"Think you can handle this, Kai?"
"Please," I mumbled, snatching up the phone and tapping a few buttons to make copies of the video. "I’ve got you, G, you know I have."
He nodded, tossing the bottle away from him with a grumble before whipping his phone out to tap rapidly on it. He was probably calling Caroline, and while Caroline had been scratching our itch perfectly for years, it didn’t seem enough for me anymore.
Especially after New Year’s Eve, fuck me.
I just wanted to be back home, in my studio, drawing every rendition of the wildflower I had fucked in the elevator at that masked club.
I didn’t want to forget a thing about her, but with every passing day, it seemed that I did. It didn’t help that our housekeeper also had me hard and throbbing just by breathing.
My phone buzzed as if on cue with a call from the object of my fascination these days. I stood up, pushing through the meatheads in the club to get some air until I was outside. I leaned against my bike, the city noise a dull roar while I picked up the call.
"Kai?" Her sultry, soft voice was rushed and breathless. "I’m so sorry. My neighbor’s cat... it got in. It was being a... a nuisance."
A fucking cat. What a liar. I could hear her swallowing, her breath coming in little pants.
I swiped back to the camera feed from the spy cam. There she was. On the bed, biting her fucking finger like she always did when she was nervous.
And behind her was some fancy antique-looking dresser. That shit looked expensive. Way too expensive for a housekeeper.
"Kai? Do you..." My naughty slut sunk her pearly white teeth into her plump succulent bottom lip and my cock was back at attention, erect and wanting to burst the seams of my jeans.
"Do you want to continue?"
I was considering demanding her address so I could just drive over and give that pussy a proper workout, but then she tilted her head, and the light from her lamp hit her eyes just right; they glowed like liquid gold, a rich amber color.
I zoomed in.
What the fuck?
"I really... I was close that time," She whined, her pink tongue flicking out to lick her lips.
"How about you make it up to me?" I demanded, pushing a hand into my pocket to fish for a cigarette.
"Be on your knees by my bed tomorrow morning, little Ivy. Show me how bad you want to cum."
"Oh come on, why?" She whined, and I hung up, watching her on the camera as she threw the phone down and kicked her legs like a fucking kid having a tantrum. It was adorable as hell.
But I couldn’t forget what I had seen. What I was seeing.
Her eyes.
Weren’t they fucking brown?
