Chapter 205: Acceleration Track
Chapter 205: Acceleration Track
One year after the destruction of Farstar, Moment completed an enormous structure beyond Aquora’s atmosphere.
It was a vast cross shaped warp acceleration track.
Cold metal reflected the starlight of deep space.
Six acceleration tracks, each several kilometers long, had been joined together and pointed toward different regions of the universe.
This was not merely a track for faster than light travel.
When necessary, it could also launch projectiles made from material bound by the strong nuclear force, sending them through subspace to any destination in the universe.
They could then strike the target directly.
Of course, faster than light referred only to their speed within subspace.
Once the projectile returned to normal space, it still could not exceed the speed of light.
Within the silent vacuum, Caelum stood as easily as if he were walking on solid ground.
He gazed toward the enormous acceleration track in the distance.
One section had already activated.
The warp drive engaged, and distorted space dragged the spacecraft from the track into the depths of the universe in an instant.
A robot occupied the vessel.
It possessed both self awareness and independent thought, making it a genuine intelligent life form.
It was the joint creation of Moment and Caelum.
The robot itself had been constructed from nanomaterials.
Its database also contained vast quantities of advanced technology, including methods for extracting vacuum energy.
Its purpose was obvious.
It was bait.
Caelum wanted to know whether a more advanced civilization would intervene when an artificial intelligence crisis spread across the universe.
Would it be a civilization that opposed entropy?
Or an observer civilization?
He looked forward to finding out.
Moment said, "Unless something unexpected happens, the Divine Realm Civilization’s curvature drive vessel will reach the Milky Way in fifty years. Even under the slowest estimate, it will not take longer than two hundred years."
Caelum had already used the quantum computer to analyze Magnus’s spacecraft.
He now possessed complete data on the curvature drives of the Divine Realm Civilization and naturally understood their travel speed.
The actual journey aboard one of their ships would require only five years.
However, once time dilation was considered, at least fifty years would pass outside the vessel.
That estimate also assumed the ship traveled at maximum speed throughout the journey.
Magnus had told Caelum nothing.
Even so, Caelum had already learned every connection related to him through the dimension where logical relationships became tangible.
The Divine Realm Civilization.
His younger brother Aether.
The Divine King who ruled their civilization.
Caelum understood all of the relationships closely tied to Magnus.
He asked Moment, "What about our quantum probe?"
"After acceleration through the track, it is expected to reach the Divine Realm Galaxy, fifteen billion light years away, in five years."
"Before the Divine Realm Civilization reaches the Milky Way, you will be able to destroy it at its roots."
The warp bubble eliminated time dilation for the quantum probe.
That created a difference of more than ten times between the travel speeds of Aquora’s civilization and the Divine Realm Civilization.
When Caelum destroyed Farstar, he had displayed a higher dimensional ability that allowed him to move instantly through electromagnetic waves.
The quantum probe had been created for that very purpose.
This form of higher dimensional movement required a medium.
Electromagnetic waves could serve as one.
A channel established through quantum communication could serve as another.
Once the quantum probe reached the Divine Realm Galaxy, Caelum could immediately travel through the channel it created.
He would reach their home before Aether ever arrived in the Milky Way.
The same principle applied to every channel within the quantum network.
Each one could become a path for Caelum.
At any moment, he could appear beside any member of the Hyperdimensional Corps.
Within the corps, only Edrick possessed access to that dimension besides Caelum.
As the Hyperdimensional second only to Caelum, Edrick stood even above the executioners.
He possessed the authority to judge and eliminate them.
A communication from Edrick sounded through the quantum terminal.
"Leader, everything is ready."
"Good."
Caelum vanished.
In the next instant, he appeared within a dim space.
A corps stood in perfect formation within the darkness.
Every member seemed to have merged with shadow and illusion.
Their complete forms could not be seen, while the space around them twisted violently.
Footsteps echoed.
Caelum appeared before them.
The instant they saw him, the entire corps struck their fists against their chests in flawless unison.
The gesture declared their willingness to offer both their lives and their absolute loyalty to Caelum.
This was the Hyperdimensional Corps he had created.
Every member possessed a complete Hyperdimensional System.
Caelum said nothing.
He merely raised one hand and clenched it into a fist.
"For the Leader!"
The corps shouted as one.
Space around them twisted to its limit.
Every member of the Hyperdimensional Corps vanished together and set out into the stars, each heading toward a designated region.
The Hyperdimensional Corps had only two missions.
The first was to conquer civilizations throughout the universe, expand the influence of Aquora’s civilization, and continuously gather advanced technological data for the quantum network.
The second was to conceal their identities and secretly support puppet civilizations.
These civilizations would be used to draw out advanced powers hidden within the universe and to verify whether a higher dimensional observer civilization truly existed.
That same year, with the completion of the space acceleration track, Moment began carrying out its expansion plan.
Aquora’s civilization launched large scale campaigns into deep space.
Aquora’s civilization would serve as the visible surface.
The Hyperdimensional Corps would operate in the shadows.
Caelum’s original vision had finally been set fully in motion.
Time passed quietly.
Two years vanished in the blink of an eye.
On the acceleration track, Ivy stood inside the track station and stared at the enormous structure stretching several kilometers before her.
Her mouth fell open.
The sight left her deeply shaken.
Excitement filled her face as she spoke to the viewers in her livestream.
"Can everyone see this? This is the space acceleration track. It is incredible!"
The viewers were equally speechless.
They had seen space and warships in game streams before.
Yet this scene felt so real that it still struck them with overwhelming force.
This was something created by humanity.
It was not part of the setting.
It had not existed from the beginning.
The civilization of Aquora had built it from nothing.
Tiny human beings, no greater than specks of dust before the universe, had released a brilliance born from the limits of their wisdom.
The viewers had witnessed the birth of an epic.
Alongside the shock came a strange sense of emotion.
"XL18768, please enter the space shuttle."
The announcement sounded through the broadcast channel.
Ivy immediately straightened.
She waved toward the livestream with easy confidence and spoke eagerly.
"Everyone, I am going to conquer this vast and endless universe!"
With that, Ivy entered the space shuttle.
The hatch closed.
The shuttle was transported onto the acceleration track.
Once charging finished, the warp drive activated and space began to distort.
The shuttle surged forward.
Then it was launched into the universe.
