Game Invasion: 100x Evolution, From Weak to God

Chapter 210: I Came to Save You

Chapter 210: I Came to Save You

An immense and invisible force surged through the universe.

Power descending from a higher dimension effortlessly crushed the entire fleet of more than one thousand warships.

In a single exchange, the fleet of the Divine Realm Civilization was completely destroyed.

Warships exploded one after another, blooming across the universe like brilliant fireworks.

Yet what unfolded was a cruel funeral song for an entire civilization.

Blood was difficult to see in battles fought across space.

Individual lives were simply too insignificant.

Against the vastness of deep space, they barely mattered.

This could not even be called a battle.

It was nothing more than one sided annihilation.

The Divine King was dead.

The fleet was gone.

The destruction of the Divine Realm Civilization was now inevitable.

At the same time, Aether awakened from hibernation while traveling toward the Milky Way.

The moment he opened his eyes, he discovered that the ship had received a new command issued through a higher level of authority.

"What is happening?"

Confusion filled him.

Before he could understand the situation, the main vessel carrying the quantum communication system separated from his shuttle.

Aether was launched toward an entirely different destination.

This was an order the Divine King had issued before his death.

He had realized that if the quantum communication system remained with Aether, then Aether would certainly die.

Just like that, Aether was left with no idea what had happened.

He had not yet reached the Milky Way.

Now that he had lost the main body of the ship, he could not even return to the Divine Realm Galaxy.

He could only allow the shuttle to drift through the universe.

Whatever destination had been programmed into it, Aether knew only that it was not the Milky Way.

"What in the world happened?"

Aether stared ahead in bewilderment.

Back in the Divine Realm Galaxy, Edrick soon returned after erasing the Divine Realm Civilization.

He also brought back vast quantities of its technology and reported to Caelum.

"Everyone connected to the quantum network of the Divine Realm Civilization has been erased. However, many of their people are probably still wandering elsewhere."

There were indeed many members of the Divine Realm Civilization traveling through the universe.

They had left in search of themselves and drifted so far that they eventually lost contact with their own civilization.

Magnus had been one of them.

His ship had not possessed a quantum communication system.

It had likely been damaged at some point.

Otherwise, Caelum could have followed the quantum channel directly to the Divine Realm Galaxy long ago.

There would have been no need to wait this long.

"It does not matter."

Caelum showed no concern.

"There is no need to pursue those wanderers. The important thing is to erase every trace of our presence so no other civilization discovers us."

Aquora’s civilization and the Supernova Corps operated openly.

The identities and abilities of the Hyperdimensional Corps, however, could not yet be exposed.

They were Caelum’s most important hidden advantage in his struggle against more advanced civilizations.

If his opponents learned his strongest cards too early, the outcome of the game would become uncertain.

Edrick asked, "What do you intend to do?"

"Reduce the entire Divine Realm Galaxy to two dimensions."

Edrick understood immediately.

It was indeed the most suitable method.

As the eleven dimensional device activated, Caelum and Edrick were first forced into a two dimensional world.

Everything around them followed.

Planets, stars, and all other matter collapsed into an infinitely thin two dimensional membrane.

The dimensional collapse continued spreading outward at the speed of light.

A short while later, Caelum and Edrick returned from the two dimensional world to the three dimensional universe.

They abandoned the Divine Realm Galaxy without another glance and returned to the Milky Way through a quantum channel.

This was the greatest difference between them and other civilizations.

They could move freely among eleven dimensions.

Dimensional reduction attacks were useless against them.

Even after being reduced to a lower dimension, they could simply return to the three dimensional universe.

For civilizations without dimensional transit technology, the situation was entirely different.

Once struck by a dimensional reduction attack, if they could not escape before it arrived, they could only bid farewell to the three dimensional world forever.

Caelum had not done this merely to erase his tracks.

He had a second objective.

Anyone attempting to trace him would first need to unfold the two dimensional membrane back into three dimensions.

Whoever intervened would either belong to a far more advanced civilization or be part of the observer civilization.

Caelum was setting bait.

Now he would wait to see whether anyone took it.

Three years earlier, Derek had entered the universe with One.

After countless difficulties, they finally learned the location of Guy’s planet from a civilization capable of reading information in higher dimensions.

Three years later, a lush green planet appeared before them.

One brought the ship out of faster than light travel and entered the atmosphere under stealth.

"This is the place. But finding one person among an entire planet will not be easy."

"Even though I can infiltrate the networks of a backward world like this, I cannot guarantee we will find your friend."

After all, many regions had no network coverage at all.

A smile appeared on Derek’s face.

He was clearly in a good mood.

Three years was not a short time.

At last, he was about to find Guy.

"It is fine. We agreed on a code."

They only needed to investigate the names of the major and minor factions on the planet.

It would be easy to locate the coded name he and Guy had agreed upon.

As expected, it took less than two days for Derek to find Guy’s faction and reunite with him.

More than twenty years had passed inside the game since they last met.

Seeing each other again left both of them emotional.

In the desert, Guy stood dressed like an oil tycoon.

He stared at the spacecraft before him and cried out in amazement.

"Not bad. Looks like you have been doing very well."

Guy was still leading the locals through an oil war against the great powers.

Meanwhile, Derek was already flying around in a spacecraft.

Calling that merely doing well was an understatement.

"Well..."

Derek hesitated.

"I actually came here to..."

His eyes widened.

The words stopped in his throat.

A bright trail crossed the blue sky.

A streak of light broke through the atmosphere and plunged toward the ground like a spear.

It looked like a meteor.

"No way."

The longer Derek stared at it, the more familiar it seemed.

The memory of Ivy attacking his planet three years earlier was still painfully clear.

His scalp began to prickle.

This thing followed him like a ghost.

No matter where he went, it refused to leave him alone.

In truth, he was not mistaken.

It was indeed a shuttle belonging to the Supernova Corps.

The person inside was not Ivy, but another member of the corps.

For Derek, there was no meaningful difference.

"..."

Even One did not know what to say.

How could anyone possibly be this unlucky?

He could not understand it.

"I think we should leave."

Guy looked between them in confusion.

"What is happening? What are you two talking about?"

Derek sighed and patted Guy on the shoulder.

At this point, he could no longer bring himself to say that he had come seeking refuge.

He forced out a smile and spoke with great loyalty.

"I came to save you."

"What?"

Guy’s face filled with question marks.
