The moment Ethan entered, he felt a strong wave of heat.

It was hot everywhere.

The ground was covered in dark stone, with fire coming out from cracks between them. In some places, small streams of molten rock flowed across the ground. The walls were also glowing red from the heat.

The monsters in this dungeon were all fire-type beasts. Some could breathe fire, while others could control the flames around them.

Ethan continued walking.

The heat didn’t bother him.

He had come here to test Divine Flame.

But this wasn’t a good place for the Shadow Wraiths.

There weren’t many shadows in the dungeon, and the constant fire made it difficult for them to hide properly.

Ethan decided to use the Solar Elementals instead.

He raised his hand.

"Come out."

A summoning formation appeared in front of him.

One after another, the Solar Elementals emerged from the formation.

Their dark bodies were covered in glowing cracks, and flames burned from their heads.

The moment they appeared, they spread out and moved deeper into the dungeon.

Ethan followed behind them.

He wanted to see how they would perform in this environment.

They hadn’t gone far when a large beast suddenly rushed out from behind a pile of black rocks.

It looked like a large wolf covered in red scales, with flames burning across its body.

Flames also came out of its mouth as it charged toward the nearest Solar Elemental.

The Solar Elemental fired a thin golden beam from its eyes.

The beam struck the Flamefang Wolf directly in the head.

Boom!

The beast was thrown backward and crashed into the ground.

It didn’t get back up.

[You have killed a Level 14 Flamefang Wolf.]

[You have received 140 Exp.]

Ethan looked at the notification as the Solar Elemental continued forward.

"Not bad."

He followed behind it as they continued deeper into the dungeon.

More fire-type monsters appeared along the way, but the Solar Elementals dealt with them easily. Whenever a monster was around the same level as them, a single Solar Ray was enough to kill it.

Ethan soon noticed something.

"Even against fire-type monsters, they can still kill them instantly as long as they’re around the same level."

The Solar Elementals were fire-based creatures themselves, so normal flames couldn’t hurt them. Their Solar Rays also gave them enough attack power to kill most monsters of the same level in one hit.

"This place really suits them."

The monsters became stronger as they went deeper, and the heat became more intense.

The Solar Elementals continued killing the monsters that appeared in their path.

Ethan kept moving with them.

After some time, the path ahead suddenly became wider.

The Solar Elementals entered a large open area, and Ethan followed them inside.

He looked ahead.

"We should be getting close to the Waykeeper."

The Solar Elementals continued forward until they reached a large stone chamber.

The moment Ethan stepped inside, the heat became much stronger.

His clothes began to smoke.

He quickly stepped back.

"It’s getting too hot."

The Solar Elementals weren’t affected at all. Their bodies were made of solar energy, so the heat didn’t bother them.

Ethan looked toward the other side of the chamber.

Then the ground suddenly shook.

Boom!

A huge stone figure slowly rose from the ground.

Its body was made of dark stone, with flames burning across its surface. Molten rock flowed through the cracks in its body, and its eyes glowed bright red.

"The Waykeeper."

Ethan looked at the Solar Elementals.

"Go."

The Solar Elementals immediately attacked.

Several golden beams shot from their eyes and struck the Waykeeper’s body.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The golden beams struck its stone body, burning through the outer layer as small pieces of burning stone fell to the ground.

The Waykeeper roared in pain.

It lowered its head and stared at the Solar Elementals.

The flames covering its body suddenly grew brighter.

Then it raised one massive arm.

Its movement was slow, but the force behind it was enormous.

Boom!

Its hand swept across the chamber, sending almost all of the Solar Elementals flying.

Several crashed into the stone walls.

The Waykeeper didn’t pay attention to them.

It suddenly raised its other fist and smashed it down toward Ethan.

Ethan quickly stepped back.

Boom!

The massive fist slammed into the ground where he had been standing.

The impact shook the entire chamber, and cracks spread across the stone floor.

Ethan looked at the huge fist buried in the ground.

"So it can tell I’m the one controlling them."

Ethan raised his hand.

"Then let’s see how you handle all of them."

A large summoning formation appeared around him.

Ethan summoned the rest of the Solar Elementals. Soon, all 500 Solar Elementals filled the chamber.

The Waykeeper looked around.

Hundreds of golden beams suddenly shot toward it from every direction.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The beams covered its body, burning through the stone.

The Waykeeper roared in pain and began swinging its arms wildly.

Every time its hands swept across the chamber, several Solar Elementals were sent flying.

Some crashed into the walls while others were thrown across the ground.

But the Solar Elementals continued firing.

More pieces of burning stone fell from the Waykeeper’s body.

Ethan watched the Waykeeper swat away another group of Solar Elementals.

"This will take too long."

He raised his hand.

"Aim for its head."

Hundreds of Solar Rays suddenly converged on the Waykeeper.

The Waykeeper looked up.

A massive golden beam formed above it and shot down toward its head.

It quickly raised both hands.

The beam struck them.

The stone covering its hands began to melt as the golden light pushed through them.

The Waykeeper roared and tried to hold the beam back, but cracks quickly spread across its hands.

The beam finally broke through.

It struck the Waykeeper’s head.

Boom!

The stone head shattered.

The huge body stood there for a moment before falling heavily to the ground.

As soon as the Waykeeper’s body hit the ground, it disappeared, leaving an Essence Orb behind.

Ethan walked over and picked it up.

Inside the transparent orb was a stone heart covered in cracks, with flames burning across its entire surface.

"A Variant Constitution Essence Orb."

Ethan held onto the orb and headed toward the dungeon boss.
